Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduce an interesting new feature called “Let’s Go!” In addition to allowing you to have a Pokémon out with you in the overworld, a feature known and beloved by fans, it also introduces new ways to use your Pokémon while it’s out.
Auto Battles in Scarlet and Violet
While outside of its Poké Ball, your Pokémon can use the “Let’s Go!” feature to auto battle with wild Pokémon in Paldea. It can be directed to battle a specific wild Pokémon or find battles on its own. While its battling, you have the freedom to watch or continue your exploration. Your Pokémon can gain XP by Auto Battling.

Pokémon can be sent out to find items using the “Let’s Go!” feature.
