Starting Pokémon
As a trainer about to set off on their journey in the Galar Region, players will have the choice between three Pokémon:
- Grookey, the Grass-type Chimp Pokémon
- Scorbunny, the Fire-type Rabbit Pokémon
- Sobble, the Water-type Water Lizard Pokémon
Region
Pokémon Sword and Shield take place in the Galar Region. It is inspired by the United Kingdom of our world. Many different areas exist, including icy mountains and grassy meadows.
