When playing with friends or taking pictures, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet allow players to express themselves using emotes. The new DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, expands the emote system with new options for players to use when interacting or setting up the perfect photo.
New emotes in The Teal Mask
Eureka Emote
How to obtain the Eureka emote: It is given to players automatically by the caretaker as they progress the story in The Teal Mask.
Poké Ball Emote
How to obtain the Poké Ball emote: After visiting the Mossui Pokémon Center enough times, the Pokémon Center Lady will offer to teach you the Poké Ball emote.
Shhh Emote
How to obtain the Shh emote: Players can interact with an NPC wearing a Pikachu mask at the northeast corner of the Kitakami Hall area during the Festival of Masks.
