It can learn Head Smash.

Trivia

Amargasaurus

Amaura and its evolution are both probably based on Amargasaurus. The artist of the above picture has depicted it with skin sails similar to the two Pokémon, but recent theories speculate that the rows of spikes probably stood on their own without any connecting tissue.

  3. For the past week, I’ve been seeing people say that maybe the leaker said he got the starter typings mixed up and they really are Grass/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Dark. Coincidently, most of these people don’t like the idea of Chespin’s Final Evo as Grass/Dark. My question for you guys is why are you just now bringing it up and not from the moment these rumors surfaced?

    Reply
      • That’s my point. As I already mention, a majority of these people hate Chespin being Grass/Dark but now everything is becomming true they’re trying to belive that it still won’t happen. They’re in denial.

        • Who cares. For all we know, those rumors aren’t true. Maybe he mixed them up, maybe he was covering his tracks. Just because a few rumors from the same dude are proven true doesn’t mean that all those rumors are automatically real.

    • I thought Chespin would be Grass/Dark because how accurate the rumors were. I only questioned it when Quilladin was revealed. Now I believe it’ll be Grass/Fighting.

          • Big difference between coward and gentle. Coward means lacking the courage to fight. Quilladin is gentle and prefers to avoid battle, which means it’s kind, basically.

          • Avoiding fights =/= sneaky tactics.

I’m not here to disagree with you over stuff we don’t know, but I’m not following where you are gathering your logic from.

Sneaky tactics =/= cowardly. Would you call the tactics in the Revolutionary war where people were just not stupid enough to walk around in bright coats announcing their presence cowardly? Or smart? There is no general ‘code’ for fights to the death. That’s something humans made up.

That’s like saying assassins are automatically cowardly because they don’t announce their presence that they are coming to kill you.

          • No I’m not. Just because we have the same avatar doesn’t mean we’re the same person. By that logic, all guest commenters are the same person.

          • I mean, of the two (Quilladin and Frogadier), who looks more likely to use “cheap tricks and other sneaky underhanded tactics”?
Quilladin, who looks built to be on the front-line in an army?
            or
Frogadier, who confounds its opponents by jumping onto ceilings and into trees to conceal itself?

            Give it some thought.

          • You can’t always go by looks. Does the typical Fairy look like it can beat the typical Dragon? And Frogadier’s name supports being a fighting type since a Brigadier is a high ranking soldier.

          • Could be a ranking in a gang too. Look at the Mafia, capo is Captain, etc. I happen to think Frogadier comes from Grenadier, going by how it throws small stones wrapped in bubbles.

            It’s all speculation.

          • Paladins are not holy warriors. Paladins can be dark. I can’t think of any examples, but Paladin isn’t a term for a holy warrior.
            http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/paladin
Paladins can be heroic champions. Anti heroes, which are heroes with less morals than normal, still count. And, it’s always a matter of perspective. While one person views them as a heroic champion, another could view them as a cur, or evil.
A defender or advocate of a noble cause. Well, what I see as noble, you could view it as the opposite. For example, some people may view Team Rocket as noble, while other do not. As the advocate for Team Rocket, that technically makes Giovanni a Paladin of sorts. And we all know, that Giovanni isn’t a noble person. But, as I stated before, It’s all a matter of perspective.

        • A lot of cliche RPG fighters actually dislike fighting. Just because it avoids fighting doesn’t mean it won’t fight, it just avoids hurting others.

Considering dark types typically have dark-themes, I wouldn’t see how it would be dark if it wants to avoid hurting others.

    • Maybe because we didn’t see its evolution yet and looking at quilladin there is doubts whether it will become grass/dark…and the leaker of course did say grass/fighting before which is why it resurfaced

  4. I wonder if they’ll retcon the new abilities on older pokemon. I can’t remember if they’ve done this in the past?? I want old ice types to get Refrigerate, like my favorite Ice type Walrein

    • The pic states its name as Karakorosu (カラコロス).
It definitely looks awesome, but is it legit? Not sure.

If the pic was real… where’s the original?
You know, the pic that doesn’t have a big red circle around the unknown Pokémon. In order to edit in the red circle there has to be an original.

        • Not entirely sure, but korosu (殺す) means “kill,” but it could have other meanings depending on the Japanese characters.
It could also just be a coincidence and the use of korosu could be part of some other word.

          Reply
    • Fake. Not enough people are talking about it for it to be real.
Additionally, why would that image even exist? For what purpose would a legitimate source of Pokemon news compile a list of every Kalos Pokemon revealed thus far and then randomly slap a single new entry alongside them? If it were legitimate, why not give that Pokemon an actual reveal?
