Name change and logo
Already announced in the contest write-up, PJNM will be shortened to PJM. We also have a (temporary) logo featuring Chespin from our in-house artist moving. From now on, Chespin will be the mascot for the magazine, like Sewaddle is for the site.
Tentative release date
We’re still aiming for a mid-February release date. The deadline for all the content is at the end of December, after which we can start putting everything together using Digital Publishing Software. We’ll be using Scribus, since it is open-source but a still relatively strong DSP.

Content announcement
For this week we’ll reveal the staff-focused section. The first few pages will include a page with a picture of every staff member along with a short bio, a poll among the whole staff and two interviews featuring the man behind the site himself and Daedardus! If there is something you really want to know about those two staff members, you can ask so through the email provided earlier.
We have to admit news is calm at the moment, but we’re exploring options to make things more interesting. More on that later. See you next time!

Yep, get an Octillery with Suction Cups and give it the Smoke Ball and you’re golden.

Allows you to flee any wild battle without fail.
any idea on how to use pokeradar
Don’t use roller skates. Walk around to charge it, then head into a patch of grass and use it. Maybe use a repel first. Go to any patch of grass as long as it’s not nest to you, or along an edge. Battle each Pokemon, don’t run, repeat.if the music changes back to what it was before you used PokeRadar, start over.

I always end up getting screwed at like 26-27. Last time a Gengar put all my Pokemon to sleep (didn’t miss a single hypnosis) and then proceeded to Nightmare/Dream Eater the crap out of me

There are a TON of things you can and can’t do when chaining. I keep a list so I don’t forget.
it took some people 120 trys to encounter 1.
My game is probably like “I JUST GAVE YOU ONE! Now you must WAIT for another!”
If you actually consecutively fish 120 Pokemon….you need to re-evaluate your life 😀
They probably messed up. Me and three of my friends have encountered at least 5 pokemon each by chain fishing and the most it has taken us is 37. Some people must mess up, not notice it, and move on.
