RUMOR: Images Show Final Froakie, Chespin Evolutions & New Pokémon

These are not necessarily real images, their authenticity has not been established. Please do NOT treat this as a news post, instead enjoy commenting & speculating. We will update you if any details come out to (dis)prove any of this.

We’ve marked the main image warning of Pokémon X & Y spoilers so we won’t be hiding images in these posts.

The pictures above purport to be from a review copy of Pokémon X. As you can see, they claim that this is the final evolution of Froakie, Greninja, and a new Flying/Fighting-type Pokémon called Hawlucha. The latter Pokémon also has a new Fighting-type attack called Flying Press.

UPD2: A new image has surfaced claiming to show the final evolution of Chespin from behind. This is from a different person than the person who posted Greninja & Hawlucha. UPD: Confirmed fake

The poster also mentioned that XP is also much easier to earn and that entire parties will get some from battles with the use of EXP Share, a key item found early in the game. He also mentioned that XY only introduce around 70 new Pokémon. He also said that there barely is any endgame, with you only being able to catch Mewtwo and the Z legendary.

UPD1: A new Pokémon has supposedly been photographed. No other details are currently known. Remember, we do not know if these Pokémon are real or fake, so please don’t consider them as either until they are proven one or the other.

UPD3: We broke the site record for most visits in one day! Also, be wary of all the ‘leaks’ out there, there are so much (blatant) fakes going around that the legit leaks may get lost in it!

    • well he could have photoshoped a simple image and with the right ambient light and photo configuration, as in angle and etc he could achieve that without to much photoshop skills

            But he’d get the same attention if he’d left the name Quilladin.
            It just seems like it’d be pointless.

          • The whole thing is pointless i don’t get why this one tiny bit makes you question it.

            If he is editing the image anyway adding a new name isn’t much trouble at all.

          • Because no one just photoshops nicknames onto their pokemon. . . .
            That’s why it seems suspicious.
            None of the pictures he’s revealed we have seen outside of his leaks. . .

            So noone else photoshops the nicknames of their pokemon?
            And?^^ What is so special about that? If I photoshop a pink hat on the head of a fakemon does it have to be legit because “noone would ever do that”?

            Okay, your attempt to make me seem “Gullible” was quite childish. . .
            The difference between your Pink Hat and my nickname is the fact that the attention would have been given if his name was Quilladin. No one goes out of their way to add a nickname to a fake leak.

          • Why? Just because you repeat it doesn’t make it more true.
            He could have done it jut for fun and you take it as unquestionable proof that this has to be true because… noone would do that… Yeah maybe he would so now what?

          • I’m not saying what he’s shown us is absolutely proof, but I think it’d be odd to reveal pics, we’ve never seen before I might add, then come out and say it was photoshopped.
            Where did he get such a Perfect picture of “Hawklucha”?
            These are all things you’ve gotta think about. Especially this close to the reveal. We all know these people aren’t supposed to leak this info. And the way I see it is, he revealed it, FAR more people than he expected saw it, and said it was “fake”.
            They do it everytime a new game comes out.

          • The “Badger” Pokemon you just showed me isn’t even in the same 3D model as the other pokes.
            The Hawklucha he showed us was pretty good quality.
            That “badger” was horribly and quite obviously Photoshopped.

          • Ok I don’t see any difference whatsoever. The first Hawklucha pics look exactly the same quality as the badger and the new one is just a 2d drawing. How would that be hard to photosop onto a 3ds screen?

  11. “This smells an awful lot like a hasty cover-up attempt. For what it’s worth, I checked the images with one of those jpeg compression analyzer things, and there wasn’t any kind of weird distortion around the pokemons (or anywhere else, for that matter). Our leaker here would have to be a pretty damn good photoshopper if these were indeed fake, since I can’t find any weird parts in the images and the style of the pokemon matches the official pokes’ looks’, not to mention that the blurriness of the pokes seems to match that of the background elements.”

    • I’m not technologically advanced but some people that are are analyzing the pics and can’t seem to find any trace of it being “photoshoppped” etc.

    These seem to be real but WWHHY couldn’t he/she have started with Chespin!!!???

      • -aerodactyle will have a megaevo
        -exp.share can be activate to share exp with ALL Pokémon in the team
        -some place have 3d actually but overworld is 90% without it
        -teamflare uses a lot of houndour / zubat etc. classic Pokémon from rival team
        -circlepad=rollerskate / direction buttons=running
        -you can choose 4 obj to be used with Y
        -pokedex is 3d so be sure to slide up the 3d slider!
        -binacle is n.21 Pokémon in the coast pkdx, its like a sea creatures with two heads -anemon I think their called?- (i guess its evolution will have three…) and its rock/water

        This was the text the really convincing now proclaimed faker put out

  19. I hope this isn’t like black and white, how the final evolutions are drastically different from the 1st and 2nd stages. When the leaked Samurott, emboar, and serperior were revealed as true I was sooo mad because I thought emboar and samurott were too ugly to be true so I didn’t want to believe it. (I still do not like samurott or emboar). I just hope this is a bad fake and froakie evolves into a BA looking frog that’s not ugly like this one is.

      • I’m just not a fan of it’s mustache and conchshell horn. It doesn’t even look like an otter anymore. It could also be that I was really mad samurott turned out to be a pure type because I hate pure types. So maybe that made me biased against it’s design. I do like serperior though.

  21. Really fakemon popped up every and like all the time and they can be real or fake but when the leaker says it fake it fake and if we got a leaker whos say it real im not trusting them.

  24. I used to not like Froakie much. But now I’m liking him more and more 🙂 The supposed evo in this article’s picture actually looks really neat I think. But so does that other fan-made one. Arghhh can’t decide if I’d like a fighting or flying more! Even though flying is my favorite type, I was kinda hoping for fighting. But the pic almost changes my mind. Maybe it uses its “tongue scarf” to grapple onto things? I don’t know but that’d be pretty cool. Who else started off not liking
    Froakie but then changed the more you learned about him?

  25. I think the only lie the leaker’s fed us is that they’re fake. General consensus on Pokebeach seems to be that the guy’s trying to weasel out of potential trouble with Nintendo by claiming to have faked this stuff.
