PokéBeach has posted some new rumors that they claim to have received from a reliable source. As always, I post these rumors for discussion purposes only, please do not post them elsewhere as confirmed information or interpret these as me posting information as real.
New Pokémon
- Trusk & its pre-evolution: Grass/Rock Pokémon with long green tusks and grey skin. Pre-evolution was described as “adorable”
- Apparachnid: Ghost-type spider Pokémon which appears in caves. It is grey with blue spots and has a glowing abdomen. May have an evolution
- Quillom: Normal/Poison procupine Pokémon. New attack with a high chance of poisoning. Its skin is white and its quills are purple
- Badger Pokémon: Name unknown, but it is dark brown with stripes and knows a new biting move
- Froakie’s Final Evolution: Water/Fighting and resembles a poison dart frog. Uses its legs to attack. Its form gets a bit heavier and it is mostly dark blue now
- Bunnelby Evolution: Ground/Dark and round. Much larger than it’s pre-evolution
- Helioptile Evolution: Stands on two legs and has two yellow triangle designs on its face now. Its appearance becomes more menacing and its ears are more rough and there are spikes going down its back. Learns the new attack Thunder Roll
- Espurr: Pre-evolution of Meowstic, very cute
Competitive Information
- Chansey-line, Dunsparce, Clefairy-line, and Togepi-line are now Fairy-type
- Fairy Dust: New attack which causes a random status condition from Paralysis, Poison, Sleep, or Burn
- A Wailmer game is shown for the Super Training Facility games
Game Information
- Team Flare is featured at the beginning of the game in a TV segment. They encourage trainers to match their style and Pokémon
- Opening cinematic in the game is 3D and features the player character watching Yveltal (Pokémon Y?) fly across the sky. More in-game shots follow
- Xerneas and Yveltal’s 3D models can be rotated using the analog stick on the title screen.

Apparachnid- Probably not gonna happen, the name is too long and it seems a bit unusual for a Pokemon name. Nonetheless, another spider Pokemon is always welcome.
Quillom- Sounds awesome! Reminds me of Cyndaquil for some reason. EXCITED!
Badger Pokemon- Sounds EPIC! Being a Ground-type reminds me of Sandile, and the new biting attack will be cool as well! Hope it’s real!
Froakie’s final evo- Too bad there wasn’t a name with it, but EXCITED! GO #TEAMFROAKIE!
Bunnelby evolution- Reminds me of Lopunny and the typing is FABULOUS! Just like Sandile, and I LOVE IT! May get it on my team 😀

Apparachnid- I kidna want this to happen, and like I said, the move letter limit went up with Parabolic Charge, so why not with Pokemon names? And it’s a play on paranormal and arachnid…I just find that amusing for some reason xD
Quillom- Meh, maybe if I see it, I’ll like it more, but the name just reminds me of another quilly friend of ours

I really like this rumour but it has taken most of it’s ideas from other rumours or just what the fanbase speculates/wants. They could be true but I don’t know how credible I take these rumours. If it was the same source then I would say yep true, but apparently it is from a new source.

Assuming for a moment that these rumors have merit:
Trusk – Ugly name, but pretty decent typing. It sounds like an idea that could’ve been used as a fossil Pokemon, like some sort of mossy mammoth or something
Apparachnid – Ignoring the character thing, it seems like a cool idea. Surprised it’s not listed as part Bug-type, though. Ghost/Bug would be killer.
Quillom – Sounds pretty basic. I don’t think I like the abundance of Normal/whatever-types in this Gen, but I can roll with it.
Badger – Not much to go on 😛
Froakie’s final evolution – Sounds absolutely awesome. I’m now having a tough time choosing between Chespin and Froakie, even though I was pro-Chespin since its reveal. I’m just not a huge fan of Quilladin, and Frogadier looks pretty sweet.
Bunnelby evo – Unlikely, in my opinion. I’d rather it be Normal/Ground, just because it’s so cute that I don’t want it to become menacing and Dark-type.
Helioptile evo – Same thing here; I want it to just stay cute. There are so few cute fully-evolved Pokemon, they almost always have to become big and scary, which is usually good, but Helioptile’s adorable 😛
Espurr – Also not much to go on

Ghost/Bug would be killer. Well we do have Shedinja and it is killer if you can get past the 1 HP. As for Bunnelby’s evolution Dark types don’t necessarily have to be menacing, the idea behind the type is criminals or thieves. I could see Bunnelby becoming mischievous but not necessarily evil. It could be like Zorua and be a prankster.

I dunno, tossing in another Eeveelution this late after the whole Sylveon advertising kick got started would be REALLY anticlimactic. In-game you have nothing to worry about, but after a year or two of in-game, competitive will get popular.
haha, I was just guessing. Yeah, I love using pokemon like Vespiquen and Leavanny, both of which have bad reputations because of their 5 weaknesses. But, 7 weaknesses, might be a bit excessive.
On the bright side, it has a ton of resistances and an immunity. But still, disappointing if it gets stuck with that typing.

Originally I thought that it would gain weaknesses… Then I realized that it’ll be only weak to Steel and Poison and lose its fighting weakness. Close Combat is the best move to take Blissey down now, but now there aren’t any overwhelmingly powerful Psn/Stl attacks to hit it with. Ouch!

Whipper Snhapper, I will give you some proof through a story of my life’s work, As a boy, times was tough. My mom died of polio when I was 9 and my dad was off to war a few years later. I had to provide for my younger brothers and sisters. Worked everyday at the yard, for pennies. We were lucky to have more than bread with a little lard to go on them. My youngest sister Berta died not too long into the war. She just couldn’t go on any longer, poor thing. God I look back on that day and wonder if I just went a day without so she could have a little more bread. Well, after the war my pa came back home missin both legs. I couldn’t bear the responsiblity and the various deaths on my conscience. I became an alcoholic, working all night, and numbing my mind from the chaos around me. My sister Martha helped me through this time. We soon became very close and married a few years later. I love her. We had two children together, so I decided to get back to work as a businessman. I did so well, we were able to move the familty into the suburbs. It was a great point in my life. Though, after 30 years the love of my life, Martha, had died, and my children not too long after. Neither made it into their 50’s. I am a man surrounded by grief. Don’t you dare say I am not 94, I have gone through more than you’ll ever know.
