Today is the day! After 9 months waiting the games are finally here, Pokémon Sword & Shield are now available worldwide!

We hope everyone has enjoyed not only our countdown with The Path to Sword & Shield, but also spending the past 9 months (and longer!) on the site with us. We’ve grown significantly this year and we’re so happy to have shared every step of the way with all of our fantastic readers!

Just because the games are released doesn’t mean our journey here! With still got tons of content lined up for everyone, all from the fantastic team members we’ve got here on PokéJungle! Stick around!

Hopefully most of are readers are already enjoying the game and those of you that aren’t can get to play soon enough! We want to hear your thoughts on the game so far. What Pokémon are currently on your team? What’s your favourite thing about the game so far? Any tips for other trainers?

  4. Would anyone (maybe someone on my friends list) playing Sword be interested in trading a bunch of version exclusives? I think it would be cool if I could exchange almost everything with one person so we can both benefit. I’m not quite ready to start this yet but let me know if you’re interested.
    Edit: I have Shield, I didn’t make that clear but it was also obvious

    I’m LOVING the exp candies as they really helped with Toxtricity, Dottler and Impidimp. Thinking of getting rid of Greedent for the ice/dragon fossil and got rid of applin for impidimp. Thought about swapping Orbeetle for Hatenna but decided against it

  6. There’s an entire Wild Area and the only beacon I’ve seen for ages is a Drednaw! The only one! And I’ve never seen on in the northern part at all. Are they supposed to be this infrequent?

    • I have no idea what the spawn rate is like or even the refresh rate. I have noticed that Galar pokemon seem to be few and far between in the wild area, which I find odd

  7. I really don’t understand why they didn’t just make Motostoke the first gym?? Because by the time you get to Turffield everything is overleveled. Kind of like how it was stupid Hearthome was gym 5 in D/P and then they realized that it was stupid and fixed it in Platinum.

  11. Just an FYI, there’s a little bit of extra text if you have Eternatus in your party when you fight Leon, nothing worth using him if you don’t want to but I thought it was cool

  12. Any recommendations for a moveset for Dreepy on a playthrough? Obviously its options are very limited, but are there any TMs/TRs anyone would recommend?

  17. So If I’m completing a living pokedex, should I be getting gender differences as well? Unfeazant is pretty noticable in its gender difference.

    • Theres a lot ive seen! Ive seen a level 40 Golurk, a Manetric, a Ninjask, that gyarados in the middle of the lake. Even outside of the wild area there was a gastrodon i saw but couldnt get to in Galar Mine 2

  23. Ok, its Dreepy time! Ok, here’s what we are going to do:

    Open the “Y” menu and MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN “INTERNET” MODE AND NOT “LOCAL MODE” BY PRESSING THE “+” BUTTON.

    Leave a reply to this post saying if you want a baby lv. 1 Dreepy in premier balls.

    I will reply to your post with a code; select “Link Trade” and then “Set Link Code” and enter the code I provided to be linked with me. We will trade.

    I dont care what you give me, but if you want to be nice I could use sword exclusives or scorbunny for the pokedex. Again, I dont care what you trade, this would just be a nice bonus for me. Also note that these dreepy arent competetive; they are just a pain in the ass to find so I figured I’d pass some around. This is the final time I’m doing this, so get them now!

  25. I dont know why I feel like Pokemon SS is incomplete…. like if they were in a rush thanks the marketing that they couldn’t finish it.
