Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- For those of you who registered their Pokémon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon games before January 30th, the promised Master Ball gift is now available here after logging into the Global Link! Be sure to redeem the code before March 29th!
- Quick reminder that registration for the Ultra Sinnoh Classic competition has begin! Battles will run from February 23rd to the 25th.

Pokémon GO
- To tie in with the Chiayi Lantern Festival, a new Safari Zone event has been announced for Taiwan! From February 26th to March 3rd Unown, Dragonair, Dratini, Mr. Mime and Growlithe specifically will be spawning during the day. However, come night fall Chinchou and Lanturn will begin to appear
- Niantic has confirmed the special move all Dratini will have when caught on the next Pokémon Community Day! The special move will be Draco Meteor, however it can only be obtained by evolving your Dratini up to a Dragonite
Pokémon Duel
- Requiring 247MB, version 5.0.9 of the turn-based mobile game is now available to download! Along with adding new plates to the store, several new figures have been added, while others have gotten a balance update:
This patch contains various brand new figures.- New UX Figures: Guzzlord, Mega Sableye, & Mega Altaria,
- New EX Figures: Altaria & Zoroark
- New R Figures: Shiinotic & Zorua
- New UC Figures: Swablu, & Morelull
- Incineroar: Increased Darkest Lariat’s damage from 110 to 130
- Greninja: Increased Hydro Pump’s damage from 60 to 70
- Hydreigon: Increased Dark Pulses’ damage from 60 to 80
- Sneasel: Added the ability Team Play
Pokémon Shuffle
- The final set of stages has been added to the latest update of the 3DS version of Shuffle
- All Pokémon in the game are now able to have 5 Raise Max Levels used on them
- The new Roserade (Winking) stage is available until February 20th
- A “new” Pokémon Safari will have its run until February 27th. It includes repeat Pokémon Grubbin, Charjabug, Vikavolt, Crabrawler, Crabominable, Caterpie, Metapod, and Butterfree, and newcomers Yungoos and Gumshoos.
- The Mega Banette competitive stage is running until February 20th
- The following stages have begun repeat runs until February 20th: Mew, Litten, Decidueye, Deoxys (Attack Form), Accelgor, Typhlosion, and Pikachu (Enamored)

Hey so my favorite show, One day at a time, is in danger of being cancelled on netflix. It’s a sitcom featuring a cuban family (including a single mother who is a veteran). Also, it covers topics ranging from alcoholism and PTSD, to depression and racism. All while being hilarious but never making fun of the issues it features.
All I ask is that you watch at least four episodes. That’s what Netflix measures a show’s success on. Tell your friends and family. This feel good show should not get cancelled.

He did, it’s called One Day At a Time
And it’s literally so so good. It was on almost every list I saw of the best TV shows of 2017. I promise you’ll enjoy it! And the season 2 finale is, as one review put it, “A dynamite piece of theatre.” I sobbed, and I’m not really a crier.
I might watch it after watching the 3rd Season for Little Witch Academia that will never happen (Seriously, it’s such a good show, and while it ended amazingly, I would love to see it continue)

I think I have an explanation (funny how I was just talking about this the other day with my friends)
I believe that like Ultra Space, that Cyber Space also is its own world filled with Pokémon of its own and we just cannot reach them yet except porygon. To explain Porygon’s type it probably in Cyber Space is a common creature that isn’t very special there so it’s a normal type via that
My other theory is if my theory that Cyber Space exists in Pokémon world is wrong. Is that because Porygon is was created and assembled as a basic program by Silph Co. that came to life is that since Normal is the most basic typing, they created it with the most basic typing (which doesn’t explain why it doesn’t gain an addition Electric or Psychic type upon evolution so I guess the companies who made the up grades either couldn’t do it or thought it was unecessary.)

The gym theme?
Bingo! Now I wonder if that was intentional, and if so, why? I mean, why would the composers care about a lighthouse theme for battle music?
My best explanation is that the composer liked that melody so he decided to reuse it in a sequel in a totally different context. This has happened before in other video game franchises like FF
That does make sense, but usually don’t we see this in the context of a leitmotif? Though I guess that’d be a different thing entirely, just the composers trying to incorporate a theme.
