Another month, another CoroCoro leak!
The first images of March 2018’s issue have surfaced and bring some minor information about what’s upcoming for Pokémon in 2018! Japan will be having a special distribution for Shiny Poipole to coincide with the TCG merchandise – other regions will most likely get this event in the not too distant future.
UPDATE: Another page of CoroCoro has surfaced online! These two pages reveal that Lugia will be featured in the upcoming Pokémon film and that next month’s issue of CoroCoro will provide a special scoop on the legendary. “Be sure to pay special attention to Lugia this year!”

Is PokeJungle gonna talk about the fact that a glitch has been discovered in Usum where Ash Hat Pikachu can be Shiny or did I miss it?

Yeah, a Dataminer on Twitter, recently discovered that a glitch in the game allows it to be shiny. It’s because it’s OT is Ash instead of yours, so the lock resets when it generates a shiny using that OT instead of your OT, so there is a chance it can be shiny.
Tho if your ID is similar to Ash, you can’t get a shiny.

Yeah, GameFreak never planned to release a shiny Ash Pikachu so they didn’t make a Sprite for it.
That’s the one thing I was gonna mention is that it will be extra hard to hunt because you have to Check it’s summary to determine whether it’s shinu or not.
Lastly, I already obtained my Ash Pikachu in Pikachu Valley so I cant hunt it, but since it’s a glitch, it may get patched anyways.

I think this is everything CoroCoro has to offer for this issue sadly. I mean, there is a chance, a very small chance that we could see another page of the issue with Zeraora in it. But I doubt it. Usually, all the scans come in at once. Though I remember one time during the lead up to ORAS, we got a few scans over a period of a couple days.
If it is it’ll be a shadow, otherwise we’d have got it first as the main spread.
Pretty sure we’ll get Zeraora this weekend when that actor is on Pokenchi. He apparently has big news and I’d imagine he’ll be Zeraora in the movie. They don’t need CoroCoro to reveal anything about it

It’s just Naganadel is really late and high leveled.
I plan to only have 5 Pokes until I get it. This was my play through team.. in the order they appear. My first unplanned team, so no grass or water type. Next play I just plan to have them with actual good stats.

Hawlucha is one of the perfect designs ever created by GameFreak. Aztec Eagle Warriors and Lucha Libres,; coming from the same geography, different times, blended in perfectly.
No Direct announcement today 🙁 I have no idea what’s going to happen now. I have to say, 2018 really isn’t shaping up to be exciting in the games department, at least for me. The only thing that actually has me hyped is Media Molecule’s Dreams on PS4, but I don’t expect that to release until September/October at the earliest. Please Nintendo, do something!

It’s more of the it’s a Dragon thing. It’s an Ultra Beast it could have had some cool weird type combo. Instead the only one with a Unique Type Combo is Nihilego. The Dragon Typing just Seemed Meh to me.
Poison/Psychic could’ve worked but it’d mean a different design for the evolution.
I don’t see the harm in it. It’s probably the best for what it is and is a pretty good typing.
Besides there’s only one other Pokémon that shares that type anyways so it’s pretty unique

Prolly not gonna happen. They’ll likely just shoehorn Zeraora into Johto like they did Marshadow into Kanto. All leading up to Lugia in the end for some kind of battle. Hopefully it’s not exactly like I Choose You and has it’s own story.
So a new scan from CoroCoro has leaked. One side “revealing” that Lugia is in the movie (no duh) and the other talks about Detective Pikachu so whatever. Curiously as far as I’ve seen there’s still no title. This makes me definitely think there’ something up in the movie that we’re not supposed to know about. If the title was nondescript like “I Choose You’ then they’d have put it in CoroCoro or even announced it much earlier. They haven’t however. This makes me think Zeraora will be in the title.
This CoroCoro spread along with the fact we have an actor with “big news” showing up this weekend on Pokenchi tells me they’re getting ready to announce Zeraora and the movie title in one go. I bet we get a new trailer this weekend showing Zeraora in the movie. Whatever happens after that will have to be gen 8 stuff. (plus movie stuff too, but whatever about that lol) Just a matter of when the gen 8 stuff is coming.

Love Lugia so freaking much. Gen 2 had really good Pokemon designs. It might be simply rose colored glasses, but it’s one of my favorite gens despite all the structural problems the games have.

I don’t think they’ll continue doing these reboot movies much longer. Gen has always felt like an in between gen and given that they’re using all the UBs in the anime I doubt it was ever planned to have any of the gen 7 movies to be related to the normal universe. I can see them jumping back to the normal movies once gen 8 comes out.

Apparently a big scoop in CoroCoro next month about Lugia. Wonder what that’s supposed to mean. Other than its part in the movie I’m not sure what they could tell us about it that we don’t already know.

If it were then there are some points to make:
1. Ho-oh should have one
2. It will either be Gen 8 which I’m not sure makes sense or
3. It would need to be patched in which they don’t do, though if they did I have a list of fixes they should also do, and maybe make Zeraora part Fighting.
They won’t, they’ve had 17 years to fix/unfix Nidoqueen and Nidorina and they haven’t.

Ho-oh will most likely get one as well. They just couldn’t reveal it in the last movie since it was most likely be saved for switch game. That’s if this happens.
And on it being gen 8 it isn’t unheard of. Remember the last gen 5 movie they revealed mewtwos new form that ended up being the first mega evolution.

All the Sprites have them positioned in a way that made them look like teeth, it wasn’t until the 3D models were a thing until they A. Moved slightly further apart and B. Were surrounded entirely by blackness.
