We shared a rumor with you that Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon may be getting additional Alolan Forms of older Pokémon in a previous post, but now we’re going to share a little bit more. Please be aware that some may find this a form of spoiler so you are advised not to read further, even though we are posting this as an unsubstantiated rumor totally outside the scope of official information.
The reason that we are posting this to append the previous rumor is because of the confirmation we got about Rainbow Rocket’s takeover of Aether Paradise (which could be seen on the Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon download card). A Chinese fan sent us some of this information which also seemed to line up with other things we had heard from separate sources.
- Alolan Oddish, Alolan Gloom and Alolan Vileplume will all have Poison/Fairy-typing
- Alolan Parasect will be Bug/Ghost (the rumor did not mention Paras so I will not infer anything there)
I am taking this with as much salt as you should, but I’m definitely hopeful because there seems to be a lot of potential for all the Pokémon named in the rumor and it would be great to see these unique typings as well (Shedinja aside)!
I’ll be super cheesed off if Alola Vileplume becomes a thing but Bellasom gets nothing. That’d be dumb and there’d be even less reason to use it.
Intriguing if Alolan parasect was a thing, what, did it just die after the infestation of the shrooms? That’s dark.

So I think I decided:
I’ll have two Fairy/Ground fakemon in my region. One is a Hen and the second one is based on the kids story of Sandman.
If the rumors are true then……
1. The Vileplume family lost their Grass typing weird, but at least we get a shiny new/unused type combo 🙂
2. Hopefully Alolan Parasect is better than Shedinja, although the bar is set low for that one

Hey guys I need a tad bit of help
I want to have a good typing for my Raccoon starter, it’s already Grass, but I wonder what to use
Most likely types I can think for it are: Dark, Psychic, Ghost, or just Pure Grass
I can make names and stuff though, but your welcome to give suggestions
Dark seems to make sense if it is based on a thief. Ghost could also work, if it’s based on an extinct species, myth/legend or Tanuki (which could also apply to Fairy).
Yeah my original thought was to make it based on a Trickster and an honorable thief (won’t steal things unless their is a good reason to)
So I guess I can just keep Grass/Dark
And soon I want to shed some light on one of my new Pokémon based on dew (its not related to Dewpider) and Guttation
I’ve dabbled in a raccoon Japanese thief (the ones with the bag thingy that wraps around the nose)
But it uses its dense bristled tail to store objects
Sounds good. I think there are ways to make it different enough to other Raccoon fakemon while still using the thief theme.

YIKES, that’s too much good stuff in one day. Odyssey is TOO amazing: like, imagine your expectations and then multiply them by 5. Surprisingly, my favorite element so far is the HD Rumble which is extremely satisfying when throwing the hat or doing pretty much everything. I’m a few kingdoms in so far (and I spent ages in the Wooded Kingdom for some reason), yet I’ve barely scratched the surface. Also, I’ve watched the first few episodes of Stranger Things 2 and I’m impressed so far! It’s really cool how they can add new characters and retain the general “feel” of Hawkins, Indiana. It’s been a good day.
Finally gonna try to play Mario. Been out all day as well as had an edit so I didn’t have time. Now it’s time to unwind for the night and play some good old Mario. Here we go!!!

Well it’s a Mario game, it’s not rocket science but I kid you not its a collectathon, big world’s and so many things to find
But it’s still fun to be a tunneling brain parasite and meet charming locals including some thicc mermaids
I imagine it’ll be like the other 3D marios. Pretty easy until that one random level comes along and completely f*cks you sideways
there is one section where you have to control bullet bills in a maze and the controls are so wonky that you can’t move straight and the slightest clip of the wall makes you explode same goes for poisonous lakes, you can’t even dip a toe without all of your organs going into shock

It’s just like Breath of the Wild: easy on the surface, but when you really get down to completion and things like that it’s VERY technical sometimes. It really just depends on how you want to play.
My original goal was to not leave world’s until I 100% them and hell just so much ground to cover ((also am I the only one getting motion sickness with the way the camera shifts from 2nd to top down))

Any PlayStation fans around here? This Monday is going to be HUGE! I’ll still be knee deep in Odyssey, but PGW is worth paying attention to. Get this: 7 game announcements and 21 game updates, and that’s before their actual showcase, which will reveal even more high profile AAA games. Apparently they’re saying that “E3 was only half the story”, with this being the second half. I can’t take all of this gaming madness, 2017 won’t let us get away with our sanity!
I own a PlayStation but I’m not expecting much to interest me considering I only like jrpgs really.
I beat odyssey hours ago, i was really, really surprised, it as very good, but maybe it’s that i have become better at mario or the developer timeframe, the game could virtually be bested in 1 day if you play it enough… It still has lots of promising after story elements, i won’t spoil anything about them or the story though…

IIRC, the main story is pretty easy to complete, but the amount of collectibles is insane and you unlock more stuff once you beat the endboss.
I’ll probably finish the story tomorrow, if not Sunday. I’m incredibly excited to see what other crazy things Nintendo came up with.
That stretchy Wiggler thing in Odyssey is legitimately one of the most satisfying playable “characters” to use in any game I’ve ever played. It just feels GREAT for some reason. I want Nintendo to create an entire spinoff game based specifically around the stretchy Wigglers like they did with Captain Toad (and I’m only partially joking.)

Well I picked up my copy of odyssey last night. Now I just need to pay off my switch and I will be good to go gamewise for a good while. As a person who’s played both, I’d say you should start with Odyssey and then go to Breath of the Wild. The main story of Odyssey (seems to be) fairly straightforward, while Breath of the Wild will take ages to finish no matter which way you slice it.

Just a few more payments and it will finally be mine lol also will have a digital copy of splatoon 2 since i managed to get the bundle so that’s a plus. I honestly don’t know if I will get USUM or not because of it since i will have so much to play on the switch. Will have to wait and see if they reveal something next Thursday to entice me to buy a copy!
I really hope you enjoy it, I know you will! For me personally, the whole state of gaming during the Wii U era had me depressed, thinking that Nintendo had exhausted all of their ideas. But the Switch, with the help of its amazing games (especially first party) has made me a believer again when I was VERY far gone. Now I believe that the sky’s the limit and we’ve only scratched the surface! I know this all sounds dramatic but for me, it really is that revolutionary.

So currently in Hoenn having a good time I have 3 weeks to catch a ferry to Alola!
My realistic expectations/hopes for usum:
– Excellent post game involving all evil teams twice as long and good as delta ep.
– New Tapu forms, alolan forms and ubs
– More changes to Alola possibly new island but graphically better changes to layout and higher demographics of alolan people
– Wanna see character changes in Hau and Lillie as proper rivals with one being champion
– new interesting characters
– More side quests and features such as battling facility and maybe BW2 like medal achievements?
– super interesting main game!
– Just want this to be the culmination of all past generations!
– gym feature where each day the gym layout and leader changes everyday based on past 6 gen gym leaders
– several post game quests
I would like Tapu forms too. I’m not the biggest fans of them right now. They’re definitely unique and well designed, but they don’t much appeal to me.
Something is telling me if they have made tapu forms then they’ll be shown next week. I like how they pulled it off with the therians!

Incredible. The one voted off was Ilima. I thought he would get pretty far, he’s a cool dude, and I liked the fact he used Smeargle as his main pokemon that beat all the starters. He beat me the first time I think lol.
