Weekly Wrap Up is our end of the week digest of smaller news stories that are just as important, but didn’t get a dedicated post. If you’d like to get real time updates about what’s mentioned here you can follow our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. Here’s what you missed from September 18th to September 24th!
Ash Hat Pikachu Event
- Quick reminder that the Original Ash Hat Pikachu is available via Mystery Gift until tomorrow (September 25th) using the code PIKACHU20. This Pikachu wears the original hat Ash wore in the anime while traveling through Kanto and Johto, and comes with the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Thunder and Agility. Remember, you can only choose one of the Ash Hat Pikachu via this method. More details on the Ash Hat Pikachu distribution can be found on its dedicated post
Marshadow Distribution
- For those in Europe, more distribution details have been revealed:
- Belgium – September 30th to October at the GameForce event
- Netherlands – October 7th & 8th at the 1st abd Firstlook event
- Spain – Amazon Spain will be distributing codes for Marshadow alongside pre-orders for Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Pokkén Tournament DX
- Special codes to get clothes for your in-game avatar have been revealed via multiple official channels! These codes work across all regions, are redeemable through the Special Code feature of the game, and come in pairs – one code for masculine style avatars, and one for feminine style avatars:
- TC2JY22VBQUU (M) & J7XEEQLYNDMT (F) – These codes provide 20 T-Shirts, one for each playable Pokémon in the game, minus Shadow Mewtwo
- NQLMEMRGX37X (M) & 6GSSALLDM9RL (F) – These codes give the player leather jackets
Takara Tomy USUM Z-Ring Toy
- New images have surfaced online showing three new Z-Crystal attachments used with the Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Takara Tomy Z-Ring toy that will be available at its release on November 17th. The red Z-Crystal appears to be Lycanium Z, while the yellow Z-Crystal is most likely representing Kommoium-Z. Based on its purple color it’s safe to say that the middle one is related to a Ghost-type – most likely Mimikyu when looking at USUM’s first trailer. This is evidence to suggest that even more exclusive Z-Moves will be revealed for, and be available in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!
- More international show timings have been added for the 20th Anniversary film on the official Fathom Events website! Book your tickets while you can – theaters are filling up quickly!
Pokémon Sun & Moon Anime
- The main story arc of the anime has shifted with the introduction of the Aether Foundation, Lusamine, and Cosmog. A special promo poster has been released in commemoration
Pokémon GO
- GO is being updated to Version 1.45! This update shows items received from Gyms and completed Raid Battles in the Journal, better search capabilities – allowing to search for Defenders and Legendary Pokémon – and other various bug fixes including models and icons not appearing
- A special, free “GLOBAL GOALS” T-Shirt is now available in game. This T-Shirt shows support for the United Nation’s Global Goals campaign and follows on a promise Niantic had made in association with Global Goals to create even more PokéStops across the globe
Pokémon Duel
- The mobile game has begun its first Team Battle Event! Team Battles have you and other players select a team and open up Time Booster and win battles to earn points. You can increase your points and Team Powers by using Booster Enhancers. The team with the most points wins a Rare Metal while the lowest ranked receives an extra Team Power
Pokémon Shuffle
- A special Shiny Ho-Oh will be given to Shuffle players upon checking in
- A brand new Pokémon Safari that includes Unown N, Unown I, Unown C, and Unown E is available until September 26th 2017

Check out the official Pokémon merchandise that was either revealed, leaked or is now available for purchase this week:
Ok, apparently Mewtwo got released in Pokemon Go
This guy in my class has one so I can confirm that.
Taunts Seismitoad
Scald burns me
I get two DDances with Scrafty
He switches to Xatu
I taunt him only to remember Magic Bounce psychics
Shed skin cures and KOs Xatu
Forfeits
Sounds fair compared to mine
Whysusaythat
I asked Seraph about this but i want a bunch of ideas. I wanna disign a character but i cant think of anything soo
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Characters
Just gimme a cool idea
Why didn’t you ask me… ;_; I have ideas…
Just give a seed to mold it
I’m not very good at this, but here: They’re fine with “girly” stuff (something like that), but are more than willing to get their hand dirty if it’s necessary
no like.. more specific. like if you boil them down to one thing (like how d.va is a pro gamer, genji is a ninja etc.)
Oh, ok, then Action Girl? I’m going by what it says on TVTropes
Hmmmmm
The action girl, the badass with boobies
Seeks danger and is swooned over by any male in a 2 mile radius
Is this a fetish?
Hahaha
They have them for nearly anything
I really regret running from that Murkrow…I found Jangmo-o, Hakamo-o AND Kommo-o while looking for another one. End my suffering.
Boiling vat of acid or violent organ removal
Organ removal, as long as they’re donated to science.
Is food cannery a type of science?
I suppose it’s very very loosely related to muscle memory and kinesthetic science.
As long as your organs and carcass is processed and broken down into edible meat that will be sold to a unsuspecting public
And they say I should be on antipsychotics
Ahhhh finally arrived at Laverre City quite possibly my fav of Kalos. The theme is soo relaxing and fairy like..so mystical and adventurous!
I like the toadstools and the gym exterior.
Star you still needed ideas?
Does it have to be female or could it be male?
just a cool idea, not too concerned about the gender
Day 43: still no sign of Murkrow. I am beginning to expect that the 10% is a ploy to keep me locked in Vast Poni Canyon for eternity.

Are you looking to shiny hunt it?
NO, I just want a plain old Murkrow. But I have a feeling I’m going to find a shiny before I find one.
You are having absolute shite luck. Like it shouldn’t be that bad non-shiny. Are you in the right area?
I found on the second encounter here but haven’t found another one since. It’s been about 50 minutes. Shite luck is right.
Ouch haha. I don’t remember how long it took for me to get mine but I don’t think it was more than like 10-15 minutes.
I’ve ran into so many Jangmo-o’s though, which are supposed to be 5%. And then I found a Kommo-o through SOS as well. I might as well stay here until I find a shiny at this point.
Yeah see I only found like 2 when I was looking for whatever the claw to evolve Sneasel is and I was po’d. Like why the hell is that the only way to get that in-game.
Don’t worry. I once spent 2 hours in X looking for Houndour, then he told me the next day nevermind (I still have it ready for action whenever its needed)
“he” who?
God obviously.
Arceus why would you do such a thing?!
My friend from school
Want me to breed you one?
Wow you can’t find one and all I got were Mukrow (and the occasional Machoke) in pursuit of Lycanroc
OHMYGODIFOUNDAMURKROW
Kill it.
It’s female again though. I’m seriously considering fleeing.
lol Just capture it and breed it, not worth the effort trying to find a wild male.
I do actually want a shiny from this location, so I’ll be back……
lol Ok then.
SOS it till a Male appears
Already caught it, it’s fine. I just want to finish this stupid story.
That works as well.
What game are you looking for it in?
It was in Moon.
Ah what you you gonna use it for?
Arceus is a false god
Praise Qwilfish
Blasphemy is not allowed in PokeJungle, my child.

Yo, Space Patrol Luluco is seriously an amazing anime
https://i.imgur.com/MjzXjgR.png?1
Explain this one, Oak. Government-backed scientists BTFO.
Because Lazy Brock breeded a surplus
Ey Arin talking about that stupid new religious meme going around. Religious people are so freaking stupid.
Hmmm Star I have a idea, what about the character from a scraped game idea
I don’t remember her name but she was a young girl who was brought into a spiritual realm of nature and demons, she acquires a magical necklace that can hold talismans of various animal spirits that grant her unique powers
What are some of your favorite shiny experiences? I still remember the pride I felt when I found my shiny Sawsbuck after over 4,000 encounters in White. One of the only times that a shiny hunt has actually paid off.
Hmmmmmmm maybe my first legit shiny in FireRed
‘Twas a Marowak from Victory Road
And my first SOS Shiny Crabrawler
https://m.imgur.com/PGlk6EZ?r
I still have never found a shiny in the Gen 3 games (or Gen 2 for that matter, if HGSS don’t count). Bad luck I guess, because I’ve played those games over and over many times.
The ☆ Weedle I met as my first encounter (with Pokeballs) on the Route after Cherrygrove
And the ☆ Gulpin that randomly appeared in Emerald for me
My only non event Shinies and I love the two of them
Oh the Gulpin was on the Bike Road Route in Emerald
Shiny Beedrill and Shiny Mega Beedrill are great.
You should get into Masuda Method breeding if you really want more and have a bit of patience.
Meh I’ve tried sadly I have never completed a full National Dex (or full Alola Dex) so I can’t have the charm benefit
I’ll find another one, I’ve actually tried Masuda Method but gave in to the tediousness of hatching Skitty (wanted a ☆ Male Skitty to name it Jibanyan) and sorta went after Magikarp and Hakamo-o when trying for other stufc
Well Alola ‘dex in SuMo is only 300 which is far easier than it was to get Shiny Charm in gen 6. Not that you need it. I really recommend you try to do the Magikarp Switching Method. Also if you end up with a female you can try Egg rejection to re-roll the calculation that decides its’ gender, though this may only work a few times before it will no longer be shiny.
I might retry for Buizel, Ekans or Hoothoot (I got them with foreign origins)
Don’t forget Masuda Method works with anything in the same egg group and/or Ditto. Foreign Ditto are easy enough to get. Since Skitty is in the Field group it should be easy to find a foreign Male of another Field ‘mon to breed it with. It’s also in the Fairy group, so something like a Pikachu would work. I find Ditto better for the switching method.
Funny how Skitty has 75% female yet I have 70 and 28 are Males
Males are just drawn towards you.
I beg to differ
I’m the guy who gets majority of female breed eggs, Two of my starters have been female (Torterra and Primarina), I got 6 female Komala eggs when breeding for a Male to name it Buster Moon
That’s a good point, male might be harder to breed for. Still egg rejection should work once you know where the shiny is.
Often I think the RNG plays around with the gender ratios.
and my stylus for my drawing tablet broke
cool
awesome
freaking amazing
Wow star you sure sound ecstatic towards this unfortunate event
im fucking pissed
I know, I’d hug ya if I could
Follow my four-step plan to becoming happy:
1. Laugh hysterically
2. Clap your hands enthusiastically
3. Smile as wide as you can
4. Check yourself into the nearest mental institution
And don’t forget your prescription
Wrapping your lips around a the barrel of a glock and attempt to pull the trigger
Do this at least 3 times a day

You forgot plot to destroy your nearest grocery store, then give up….
You need some Hugs *Hugs*
Yo, seriously, to any fans of Studio Trigger or Gainax (even though it wasn’t made by them) here, I seriously recommend Space Patrol Luluco if you haven’t seen it yet
It’s fun when no one replies to my comments
That actually doesn’t sound fun at all.
https://youtu.be/Qm1osmEK3f8
You know what it’s like to be me most of the time when you, Seraph, Monkeyfuzz and Buttergeek aren’t here
I already have that feeling in my group chat
I’m not on it much anymore
I’m on it almost all the time
I haven’t watched Inferno Cop but Space Patrol Luluco is amazing haha.
Over Justice is pretty much referencing Inferno Cop (besides the episode where they actually do). My favorite so far is Episode 8 (I loved Little Witch Academia)
Right. And yeah the LWA episode was great. Such a random show but it is great.
I loved it so much, that I watched both dubbed and subbed.
I don’t know if I watched the dub or sub… but I didn’t watch it twice it was super short though that it wouldn’t be a major investment if I wanted to.
I mean, 25 episodes is at least longer than most recent anime
Sure but each episode is like 5 minutes long.
Oh, no, I’m talking about Little Witch Academia
Ohhhh. I only watched the TV show subbed. I think I watched OVA 1 in sub and OVA 2 in dubbed. I have been meaning to watch the show in dubs because I heard that the dub is good.
I think I saw the movie (It’s technically a movie) and OVA dubbed only (maybe I saw the OVA dubbed).
Movie and OVA are kind of interchangeable for LWA’s stuff but yeah.
I guess
Wikipedia lists them both as short films.
I thought Enchanted Parade was like and hour and a half
I honestly don’t remember but it is really just semantics.
You’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf, now get ready for

That is what ebola looks like up close huh… interesting.
No this is what ebol… no wait nevermind, I’m not searching images of vomit and diarrhoea.
Huh?
I was going to show the effects of ebola up close but that would be too gross.
lol Yeah.

So, I decided to draw a fakemon. Feedback would be appreciated 🙂 https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/8d919e34db43e06b1af1df760740f12f7ee9cd2ac678825ded159caa6fa4f165.jpg
Seems like a good Pokémon and idea so I like it, except why is I leave have that mouth?
It’s more of a timid Pokemon, and is always anxious people are fighting, while it’s evolution is more at peace
Oh that makes sense then Ty
Very nice! I like the simplicity, it could easily be a Gen 1 or 2 Pokemon. Names are also cool.
Ignoring the gen 6+ typing.
Thanks!
I like the second one, I kind of dislike the face of the first, might be better rounder?
Okay thanks, got it! 🙂

Oh my god, this is adorable
O-oh my I… goodness. They are really cute.
They are cute
don’t show this to the furries tho lol
My friends say I am one, and I guess they’re right. Going from a video I saw, I’m a basic one (1st layer of hell, as the person puts it)
My cousin is one and plenty of people peg me as one or a otherkin
I mean they’re not too far off honestly
Eh, I can sort of see that. Btw, I never would’ve guessed your real name is Ian
I mean it works for me, not a common name nowadays
And I make my patented logo with it https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/bb5d2e2d01adc6162f57e2e750fb9c9098ee40e6a374d354ab62e0b9a5419cda.png
Nice
I even have t-shits printed with the logo
Implying a furry wasn’t the one who made it.
Too late I already saw it ?
You know thinking about it… why isn’t at least one of them a black cat, I mean they ARE witches after all.
The black cat would probably be Sucy
Eh I kind of like the purple-ish hue she has, I think Akko would be the most fitting.
Nrrrr every time I close my eyes I see waves crashing on my, and I feel my body rock gentle despite being totally still
I tell ya the water today was just savage, it was just the excess from the Hurricanes lately and it was just constant wave after wave
Surf ’em dude http://68.media.tumblr.com/b690f1e535cec91cf1d4bbcbb8a3cf87/tumblr_owooojFQON1qioqevo4_540.gif

Rhydon Surf should be a new Pokeride.
Well, I just finished Space Patrol Luluco
I really liked the show as well. Sorry I couldn’t join you on your hype train while it lasted. I was a bit busy with housework and homework.
I’ve gotten almost no homework done and I have to get to bed soon.
Slack while you still can Alex, there will be a time when slacking will be more of a detriment to others dear to you than yourself-and that is when you must not.
You mean, more than it already is
Yes
Well I am going to call it a night. Cleaning my fridge post-hurricane sucked. Afterwards I had to do my homework without Internet because it was down-due to the Hurricane. Well I am lucky that the house wasn’t blown down. Now I have to try to sleep without a functional AC. Also here is where I am at in my Silver VC run.

About to enter Olivine City. Jigglypuff has really been the MVP of the game. It was able to solo Miltank (even though my Jigglypuff was a male) and steamrolled though 2 of Morty’s Haunters and his Gengar. I honestly can’t wait until my Mom buys something useful in the game-such as the MOONSTONE instead of a doll-so I could have a almighty Wigglytuff.
Well at least you’re safe.
What attacks does Jiggly have?
http://66.media.tumblr.com/7edbc40b65e43fb40b58ec87fc517603/tumblr_ogm2jtvrMe1qd87hlo1_500.gif
Sing
Disable
Headbutt
Rollout
It sang Miltank to sleep and proceeded to Headbutt it. For Morty I used rollout twice on his first Haunter and Gengar, than a 5th rollout on his last Haunter. Despite having the lowest stats, it’s technical side has really pulled it through as a strong contender in my team.
Well I guess Morty had no attacks that could affect it? It’s cool when you can use a Pokemon in game that seems competitively useless and then it’s actually a real help. https://media.tenor.com/images/0c0bac61cb361f5165b2e23eb429b714/tenor.gif
Ok well must get to bed. Goodnight folks have a good night

Hey guys want a good name for your Male Komala?
Buster Moon from SING is the perfect name
Never saw that movie.
Never saw it, but Tori Kelly’s vocals from that movie are fire
Nah, I prefer calling mine from a good movie instead 😛
