You missed Starmie for gen 1, Sneasel and a few other s for gen 2, a LOT of gen 3 mons, Dusknoir is terrible competitively, 5 is missing Jellicent, 6 is missing Dragalge and Chesnaught, 7 is missing Decidueye (It’s in a better place than like half the mons listed on your list), Primarina, Dhelmise, Bewear, Bruxish, and MAYBE Tsareena (this one is incredibly debatable). Incineroar, Minior, Mudsdale, and possibly Pyukumuku should all be removed. Minior is extremely easy to counter, Mudsdale is full of various weaknesses, Pyuku can be taunted one time and made useless, and Incineroar will AT MOST rise to top viability NU because it’s stab combo is already somewhat limited in current use and its only reliable fire moves are fire blast and Flare Blitz, making it outclassed by basically every other alolan fire type besides turt. Intimidate won’t do much as the things it tries to intimidate don’t usually die to it

Well I’ve noticed a LOT of people see Minior and think that it’s an AMAZING Pokemon or are confused why it’s so bad… Lemme explain.
Minior has HANDS DOWN one of the worst translated abilities ever…. what do I mean by that? I mean this…
It’s ability is a potentially broken concept that can make an amazing mon but in execution, it’s utter garbage. Why you may ask? Cause of this
1. It’s attack forme, even with shell smash, is not good. It’s attack stats peak at 100 and its speed is 120. That may SOUND really good and it can hit hard but….
Well… a lot more lives it than should be able to. Since it typically runs Focus sash Shell smash, any status lowering move or even priority will INSTANTLY screw it over. It basically is begging for a priority move to do much of anything…..
2. Defensive stasts: I know people think Minior is so good with its ability to switch styles but it LITERALLY has 100 in each defense and 60 HP. You’re not living much…. the defensive forme is basically worthless. If it was only attack mode and had immunity to status like it currently has, it would actually be a better mon because it wouldn’t abused to stay in defense form and die without doing anything. All in all this mon isn’t good competitively. That simple

I used a pink Minior of them on my first playthrough (thanks to the sappy trailers) and boy was it hard to use. After I beat the game, I got the IV judge thing on the PC and found it had basically NO IVs.

Remember kids… Intimidate doesn’t make a mon good. Arbok has intimidate and coil and look where that got it
On paper, a bulky intimidating U-turn mon with access to fire moves sounds REALLY good…but of course it isn’t .. I’m talking about it now
1. That moveset….just…. wtf… it gets moves like leech life and outrage… like… why? And moves like knock off, fire punch, sucker punch (though what’s Incineroar surprising), moves it badly needs are missing from its moveset entirely. Flare Blitz is bad since it’s used defensively. There’s so many moves it needs but it gets none of them.
2.Terrible Defensive typing …. just… it’s weak to so many things… Fighting, water, ground, rock… every one of those types is super common in some way. Additionally, it takes neutral damage from fairy, electric,and bug. Tbh, fire/poison or fire/fighting would have served better for it
3. It’s weird role…. like it’s very clearly trying to be a pivoty Arcanine… this honestly is a nice role but it just doesn’t work with all the other stuff that is destroying it… like it needs so many things different… and honestly? A different ability. Intimidate works but it honestly doesn’t mesh with moveset it has. If it had a reliable fire stab and recovery, I could honestly see it working in VGC
It’s a lost cause in singles though, doubles it still has a chance
TFW Fire/Fighting is a better type for Inci (I also think it so but many disagree)

Regarding this Pikachu event. Honestly, I’m not sure what to do. On one hand, I have both Sun & Moon. Sun is my main game, Moon was just for the exclusive stuff. I have nothing less to do on it so there’s not really a problem on restarting the game. On the other hand, having to restart the game 4 times to get all of them is so tedious, I’ll have to trade all the important items (like Rare Candies and Bottle Caps) to the other game so I don’t lose them. But I’m not very inclined on depending on other people to get the other Pikachu so I might just do it.

At the start of the SuMo metagame three “promising” grass types emerged into the fray
One of them basically had a real life version of that gif of the guy walking into the party with the pizza to find the whole place on fire and dropped down to RU (I mean it’s an anchor so dropping fits) and became good there. That left two grass mons; Decdueye and Tsareena
Both of which had the ability to hazard clear and both had different signature moves that were vital to their success…
Unfortunately once UU became a shitshow the two dropped to RU as well because of their bad matchups
Deci became a wallbreaker and gained the ability to LITERALLY SLAUGHTER entire teams if they lacked a dark type that could live its attacks/a really strong physical mon who could hit first or live its attacks
Tsareena….. kinda just died
Tsareena, despite its slammin’ body… I mean moveset and 120 base attack, ended up being weak offensively due to its inability to set up, but had every single option it needed to be a supportive Pokemon

A set made to hazard clear, weaken physical bois, stall certain mons, and make priority worthless! It also kills a lot of physical ground water and rock types!!!….
Thats all it can do… like… that’s literally it….. it’s… kinda sad
1. Terrible rapid spin type: Jesus christ ,…. just…… it takes damage to all hazards and it’s weak to five fucking types with zero immunities… at least Deci with Defog could actually come in on certain mons and either force them out or come in on a certain move harmlessly… Tsareena has no ability to do this… it’s purely support… and it’s hard to make it fit anywhere
2. No set up… or well… a decent speed…or anything to make use of its admittedly good offensive moveset
3. This is the biggie…for a defensive mon its VERY easy to wear it down
Burn it, poison it, paralyze it , wittle it down, trap it. This thing is literally weak to every single non-offensive strategy. Hell, even fucking weather shuts it down because it can’t synthesis spam… It’s honestly not a good mon and the fact that it does literally nothing on its own is rather depressing. Do not touch this mon till it drops till NU, it might see some use there

Chooses the starter weak to yours, has a crappy team throughout the game and his personality doesn’t reflect that of a rival at all.
Like I hated him smiling all the time but hatred makes a character more memorable.

Emotional and weak characters are relatable and therefore more interesting to me aside from being realistic as well. And serious if done incorrectly can result in a very annoying and boring character
But example, if a serious character showed any kind weakness or emotion (preferably a little cuz that fits serious personalities and stuff) they would be more interesting to me.

I agree it should evolve, not so much adding Grass. It has Protean as a hidden ability now too so with that and Colour Change it is not that necessary to add another base type unless it fits the new design.
Its a reptile whose natural habitat is the forest? It should have been Grass from the start imo

I Just wanna know how DQ has such good Remasters of it’s old Games when FF Has Routinely Fucked up. The Mobile Versions of 5 and 6, THE STRAIGHT UP PORTS OF 7 8 AND 9 WITH APPARENTLY NO BUGFIXES WHATSOEVER.

So I’m trying to figure out which game I’m gonna get this time around. I got Sun originally, but since these aren’t sequels and don’t necessarily have a continuing story maybe I’ll get Ultra Moon this time around to switch things up? I need exclusives before I make any real decisions…..I wish they’d announce new Alolan forms. some of them would definitely be a selling point when deciding which game I’m gonna get.

100% not sequels. The question is if they really are enhanced versions or not. They could be a relatively brand new adventure with some old stuff thrown in. Does that make it an “enhanced story”? It’s hard to say for sure what they are now, but sequels they are not. At this point we don’t have enough info to say exactly what’s new and what’s old. It’s more than likely a simple enhanced version, but to what degree we don’t know yet. Thus why people are having such a problem coming to terms with them haha

I loved SM. I know people hate all the cut scenes, but I like having story stuff going on. It’s not like the game is played for you. I just hope that USUM has enough differences to make it feel like I’m not playing SM over again. I’d say especially for you too since you’ve already played the story 4 times hahaha
Yeah, I don’t *hate* the cutscenes, but sometimes I just wanted to run around and catch stuff. And a few of them were pretty long.

I’m leaning more towards defensive but is Bold a good choice for Doubles too? I see most people run Modest in Doubles. but if I choose Modest, I’m afraid it won’t do as well in Singles.
