I’m just starting my playthrough of Silver version and I’d by lying on how excited I am to start my journey through Jhoto again. I’m really tempted to get a shiny totodile but that may be a really big task since the chances are really low. I can try at best.
On a late note, I still can’t wait until USUM comes out, who knew that you can surf on a mantine and all the pokemon that never showed up in SM. I can really be more diverse with my team. The main problem with my Moon team is that Rock types give me trouble so here’s hoping I can choose better pokemon to cover weaknesses

That’s why I didn’t play lol. I’m only at the first palace, I actually don’t know how hard this game will be. I always feared fucking up the calendar and getting stuck but I don’t know how hard that is.
Persona games are kinda hard. You don’t need to worry about that since the only real way to get a Game Over (besides you dying) is to wait for the deadline to expire. Just get through the Palace, take the Treasure, and enjoy the free time you have after (Level up Confidants)
But how do I know if I’m spending my free time wrong? Like when should you do palaces and when should you do other stuff?
I say do them as soon as you can. Try to clear them in a few days (The least amount for most being 3 days). Then, when you have the Palace beat, spend the rest of the time you have left to do whatever while you await the change of heart. I’m not very good at explaining stuff, so sorry if this doesn’t help

Meh I see no real reason for a Fairy type Dragon I mean Dragonite doesn’t possess many qualities that aren’t Dragon related and if anything I feel it would be more likely to become Dragon/Water
Cause most draw it being more like Dragonair (which doesn’t make sense based on the reason why they look different) but even so, Dragonair resembles a Water Serpent of sorts, creates weather changes and the works
So Dragon/Water makes way more sense (and is more preferred) than Dragon/Fairy
I’m just awaiting all the negative comments and how much people will fight me on this, but I stick by my story

It’s cool, just weird? Like the trainer just flips off the mantine and lands back on it with no training. I *won’t* have a problem with it as long as they add more content to the game that should actually be there, like a replacement for the awful battle tree.
I didn’t see that it allows for travel between the islands. That’s nice, but it’d be nice if we did have to ride the wave and could explore more.

Literally half of the NPCs say that they have good Pokémon, and then Jigglypuff one shots them. These games taught me that lying is okay.

The surf minigame is insanely cool, reminds me of Soaring from ORAS. Nice to see that Mina has a trial, but I guess that means no hope for Gyms. Interesting to note that in the battle against her she only has 3 Pokemon, so anyone hoping for a difficulty curve will sadly be let down.

He’s actually really really good. He’s a little hard to learn and will take a lot of practice (mainly because his attacks have weird effects) but he’s extremely strong.

I’d say it’s a possibility as they need as much time as possible to work on switch games but most likely I’d say no.

I know Super Mario Odyssey comes out next month but I’m also excited about the Superstar Saga remake coming out a few weeks earlier. Jigglypuff has been bashing its head into the two trees on route 33 and so far 24 Aipoms, a countless number of Spearows, and 0 Heracross have dropped from these trees. Is it just me, or does Heracross have an appearance rate of 1%?
Sometimes you just get lucky. I know that it only appears on the low chance of trees and even then it’s like 30%.

It’s mostly ones in apricorn balls that can’t have their HA in any of those balls, like Nidoran. Multiscale Lugia is good, as is Regenerator Ho-Oh, though available via Dream Radar.

Additionally, Wilson also believes that willpower is the key essential factor in battles. As such, he is rather distant and cold forwards trainers who lack this will to win and don’t take Pokemon battles seriously. However, to the few who fight with the massive determination to win with sheer willpower, then those are the people Wilson truly recognize, to which he will reward them with the last badge.
His fighting type Pokemon have been to the test, enduring and mastering many techniques and extremely extensive training that makes them astonishingly powerful.

Neutron stars often have masses twice of our sun but only a 6 mile diameter! That’s almost a quadrillion times the density of the sun!

Ledian is totally outclassed and cannot merit a slot on any serious team, as Meowstic and Ninjask do everything that Ledian can better defensively and offensively, respectively. It has terrible offensive stats, which nullifies its large offensive movepool, and a shallow support movepool, along with poor defenses and a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock, making it absolutely worthless on any team.

But Disqus itself and not people? But why, some of the deleted comments don’t have swears in it so has disqus developed some sort of anti spamming system or something like that?
Yes, and the system is quite bad. It flags comments from newer users who type shorter sentences and post frequently (>5 posts a day) and it flags everytime someone uses a swear word. So even people with 10000 comments on here have gone from high rep to average rep and if they continue to use swear words they’ll likely get all their posts marked as spam too.

Kalos is so damn beautiful as is its history/lore and the mons just make this game well worth it.
Every time I enter a new route or location im wow’d by how beautiful this region is.
Easily the most beautiful and diverse (by design) region imo
Kalos is certainly an interesting region. The major problem with it is that it feels empty in some cases. It’s so big, but the translation from pixels to 3D models certainly shows. They definitely learned from XY. Bringing what works and leaving what doesn’t. That’s why even tho Alola is relatively linear it feels so big and expansive.
True I mean they were the first 3D games after all. I think a sequel or a remake a few centuries later would solve that 😛
But seriously Kalos is just toooo beautiful and its not empty. I felt the same but since playing it for about 2 weeks now I can see that these games are sooo underrated.

Yup me too but it got me thinking what’s the deal with Kalos XY and I was like I’ve only played it once compared to a million playthroughs of other poke games.
So I got Y and imo every game has flaws but the strong points of XY are very very good. Shame we never got a Z! :S

If a pokemon is in the battle for 5 turns or longer while Radolonium/Macurie is in battle, it becomes poisoned, even if it’s a Poison or Steel type
Why are they Fairy-type?
Radiation always seemed to me like a fairy type thing. It’s like a magical aura that kills you. Also, the pokemon are supposed to be small spirits with good will, which many fairy types are.

I mean… Radiation is really scientific, and unlike other scientific phenomena wasn’t popularly confused for magic in older ages? The second bit makes more sense but imo makes more sense for a pure Fairy that purifies rather than being radioactive itself

I’m just playing the game however the Furfrou I want and just enjoying myself.
It’s allowed me to enjoy the journey rather than force myself to the destination!

It is. Nintendo’s got 3rd Party support from Atlus (Granted, they’re porting SMT V and not P5, but still). And while this isn’t exactly a great point, but this wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo’s put a character from an M Rated game in Smash. I’m not saying it will happen, I’m just saying it can happen.
They aren’t porting SMT V they are creating SMTHD/Next for the Switch as the target platform just to clarify. And like you said that is not P5 and P5 will never come to the system so yeah. And it doesn’t matter what 3rd parties support them it doesn’t change the likelihood of anybody appearing or not appearing.

Only one fire starter got in Smash and it’s not even based on fighting, the only Pkm on Smash based on Fighting is Cario. And not only that, but I doubt a port would add a new character from a game released a year ago instead of a character from a more recent game.
And neither Smash 5 that it’d be around when gen 8 comes out and they’d most likely choose a Pkm from that gen
