- The Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon box art mascots are actually forms of Necrozma
- When Necrozma absorbs Solgaleo it becomes ‘Necrozma Mane of Twilight’ and is able to use Sunsteel Strike, Solgaleo’s signature move
- When Necrozma absorbs Lunala it becomes ‘Necrozma Wings of Dawn’ and is able to use Moongeist Beam, Lunala’s signature move
UPDATE: Another page of CoroCoro has leaked online revealing more info about Lycanroc’s Dusk Form!
- Lycanroc’s special Z-Move is called Radial Edge Storm – It can be used by all of Lycanroc’s forms, deals massive Rock-type damage, and eliminates all field effects
- Rockruff can only evolve into Dusk Form from 5:00pm to 5:59pm at Level 25
- The special event Rockruff has the ability Own Tempo

It’s not just that. The controls are so wonky. I wish it played more like Tekken. Tekken plays so well and isn’t weird by locking and shifting you into different phases…..I’m rarely disappointed with Pokemon games, but this one did it for me

So that Paul Ryan guy still seems to think there’s something big coming. He seems to be on the level so I’ll still hold out some hope. I don’t think he’d be continuing talking about stuff like this if he wasn’t pretty positive there was gonna be something. He usually doesn’t talk about directs so if he is now it may have something. He’s pretty informed on this kind of stuff by way to merchandise so we shall see.

The whole necrozma thing is stupid though.
The Pokemon don’t even look like necrozma. It looks more like Solgaleo and Lunala. Unlike Kyurem where it you can tell it was forced fusion. Very disappointing. Should have just made solgaleo and lunala absorb necrozma instead
I prefer these over Kyurem forms honestly, Kyurem fusions seems unnatural and Necrozma’s actually looks kinda cool.
They don’t need to look exactly like a fusion just to justify being one 😛
That might be the whole point. Necrozma might be forcing the fusion. Designs are perfect for me. I liked the Kyurems too they were scary and menacing!
But necrozma forms dont even look like a fusion. Just the legends with some black playes

Wings of Dawn makes more sense to me as for Mane of Twilight sounds good.
It’s one of those that could work both ways!
But Solgaleo is the Pokemon of the day – hence Dawn, which comes before day
And Lunala is the Pokemon of the night – hence Twilight, which comes before night
Why would Solgaleo be called Mane of Twilight when Twilight means the day will be over which means the sun disappears? Same with Lunala.

Those aren’t the official names, it’s just what users translated from the Japanese.
Yeah but this means the English names will be similar. The won’t be swapped around when translated, that’s for sure.
Someone captured this nicely below, but the reason I’m so I hyped for this game is that I don’t need know it’s purpose. A gen 8 game without a lot revealed would still be cool cuz we’d have a whole new landscape to explore, new ‘mons to discover, a whole new plot, etc.
USUM just doesn’t seem to have anything different besides a new wolf, at least a different third act to the game’s plot, and maybe some other minor changes.
I’m not saying there won’t be a ton of new stuff and changes that make it worth buying, but as of today before this direct, there isn’t enough to warrant preordering for me.
Again, some of you might think this is negativity, but I’m genuinely excited for all things pokemon and I’m begging for this game to be great and not a cash grab before the switch game, but idk, there’s nothing from a marketing perspective that will make this game stand out when looking back on pokemon’s history.
What do y’all think?

I have a lot of faith that they will be great games. But you have to admit that nothing that has been shown of the games is anything like the stuff added or changed In BW2. Nothing seems important enough for me to drop a bit of cash on it.

On the plus side we’re not getting 80% of the games before release which adds to the suspense. I like that xD
