- When Necrozma absorbs Lunala it becomes ‘Necrozma Wings of Dawn’ and is able to use Moongeist Beam, Lunala’s signature move

- Lycanroc’s special Z-Move is called Radial Edge Storm – It can be used by all of Lycanroc’s forms, deals massive Rock-type damage, and eliminates all field effects
- Rockruff can only evolve into Dusk Form from 5:00pm to 5:59pm at Level 25

So the event rockruff has Own Tempo…. but Dusk form has Tough Claws? What’s the point of giving rockruff an event-exclusive ability when it’s going to go away upon being evolved anyway? And can this event-only rockruff evolve into mid-day and mid-night forms too?
If There is nothing interesting revealed in this direct, then I’m certain, nothing interesting with be in the new games. No new Alolan forms, some other epic things, etc. Only disappointment.

There is probably only going to be 10 lines so they wouldn’t take up too many news releases. Also by marketing the Alola forms when GS virtual consoles are freshly released would influence more people to purchase the games.

My one and only gripe with USUM is that it’s a 3rd version (seemingly) that is being released only a year after the original games. All the other 3rs versions had a solid year and a half to 2 years before they came out. Seems a bit redundant to play the SM story again only with minor changes a year after SM came out
We’re going to pretend that they had a lot of differences though? Cause tbh, Emerald was literally polished RS with a battle frontier and it’s the most loved game in the franchise
It’s not the amount of differences between them it’s the time frame between releases. If they had held off another year or so before releasing USUM then it might have received better reception right off the bat. The problem is that people are still buying SM because it’s still technically fresh (not even a year old) so for them to come out with a “better” version of it when people less than a year earlier bought SM it’s a bit much.

This CoroCoro issue already made me a little bit hyped with the info about Lycanroc’s move. The exclusive Pokémon moves shown so far have significant secondary effects, which in my opinion makes them distinct enough from Mega Stones, despite both being exclusive to certain Pokémon, and equally appealing. I am just hoping that the other exclusive moves they bring in USUM are just as powerful as the ones already shown.
