The previously postponed Pokémon GO Safari Zone events in Europe are now just around the corner!

On September 16, official Pokémon GO Safari Zone activities will be taking place at Unibail-Rodamco Shopping Centers located in CentrO in Oberhausen (Germany), Les Quatre Temps in Paris (France) and La Maquinista in Barcelona (Spain).

At each Pokémon GO Safari Zone event, ticket holder Trainers will be able to…

  • Receive special 2 km Eggs from the various PokéStops found at each of these shopping centers
  • Take advantage of Lures that will be activated all day at each PokéStop at the event
  • Enjoy higher spawn rates of rare Pokemon such as Kangaskhan, Chansey, Larvitar, Shiny Pikachu, Shiny Magikarp, and various forms of Unown
  • Get a special in-game medal and an in-real-life “Trainer Kit”

However, in order to optimize the experience for all Trainers attending, Gym and Raid Battles will not be available at these shopping centers during the events.

Trainers will soon be able to reserve free, nontransferable tickets to each of the Pokémon GO Safari Zone events taking place on September 16. Trainers who aren’t able to get tickets will be able to discover and catch some of the Pokémon found at the Pokémon GO Safari Zones events throughout the city where the shopping centers are located.

In addition, new dates for the event taking place in Denmark, Czech Republic, Sweden, and The Netherlands have also been announced:

    • No, I would have no clue how to do it anyway. The only ones I’d bother doing it for would be the Legendary ‘mon and maybe some rare cases where there are gen 1 exclusive moves worth getting.

      • I would like to hunt for the shiny legends and possibly any Under Leveled Pokémon (Specifically in-game trades) because those are extra rare then.

It’s all IVs btw. Just google the stats that you would see if the Pokémon is shiny.

  1. Oh damn look at this awesome board game I bought. Pic is not mine because it needs to arrive still, but really excited to play this! Game’s called Scythe and it’s a bit steampunk, mech in 1920 Russian setting with bears and other weird stuff. You basically try to move around the world and try to ramp up your economy, with the rare battle. Box seems really nice.

  2. Ugh…. Mu PS4 gets so loud when I boot up Destiny 2. I’m gonna have to go to the store tomorrow and buy a can of air and the right screw driver to open it up and see if I can clean the fan off….what a pain tho….I guess that comes with owning a 4 year old system

  3. Spoke to a few people who went to PAX and they told me that the Pro Controller is highly recommended for Odyssey. It doesn’t play comfortable at all with the Joycons and Nintendo needs to get rid of games relying on Motion Control

    • Motion Control Assisted games are the best new control method this past generation, so I don’t know what everything is saying to you :P.

      • Liked it in Skyward Sword, but my overall experience with it with other Wii games hasn’t been too positive. Cant say the Switch version bothered thus far tho

        • I think you’re misunderstanding what motion control assist means. It’s that finetune aiming you do in BotW or OoT3D, or Splatoon. It really is a gamechanger. Odyssey also doesn’t use full motions controls, you can just use them to direct the hat with a more finetuned flick once you get the hang of it.
