Following the soft reveal of a blurry Lycanroc Dusk Form on the front cover, pages from Japanese comic magazine, CoroCoro, have begun to leak and contain information about the new form!
UPDATE: We finally have clearer images of the CoroCoro leaks and can confirm the following info:
- There will be a “Special Rockruff” distribution for Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon from launch day until January 10th, 2018
- Confirmation that Lycanroc Dusk Form cannot be obtained through normal gameplay and seems to be tied to events
- Dusk Form Lycanroc is pure Rock-type
- When evolving into Dusk Form, Lycanroc can learn both Counter and Accelrock – which were previously Midnight and Midday form exclusives respectively
- It can have the ability Tough Claws, which boosts the power of contact moves by 30%

My idea was that Ash-Greninja was a coincidence, Ash’s Greninja is either the descendant or incarnation of the Ninja Hero’s Greninja
and because of this i theorized that the Ninja Hero had an uncanny resemblance of Ash and that’s the form the Greninja took
Ergo Ash-Greninja is just using the form it used in a past life that just resembles ash by coincidence
Why did you conjure up lore about it, when it was clearly just a promotional stunt and a good excuse to give Ash an unique Pokemon that rivals mega evolution

I’m really curious on the stat distribution for Dusk form. Both midday and midnight have a base stat total of 487 so its safe to say dusk form will be the same. And if is different it’ll be only by a little

Well they’d argue it isn’t a separate Pokemon so you can still get the ‘dex entry. The thing is they either have to keep having events for it or it disappears as you say after the initial event period, both of which are dumb for something like this.
I’m just hoping that their just distributing a Rockruff, but every Rockruff could evolve into Dusk Form. If not, this is kinda ridiculous! We just need an official trailer already.

I don’t agree with making Dusk Lycanroc event exclusive, but they’ve done this in the past. Shaymin Sky Form was event exclusive (as Shaymin itself was) for Platinum. Those Pichu were event exclusive, the Pikachu hat things, etc. I don’t like the idea in general, but I’m just saying it’s nothing new.
Lycanrock Dusk is totally different though. Shaymin was already even exclusive, the pichus were removed after HGSS, and the Pikachu hats are for some movie in the future.
Lycanrock is an evolution of an already existing Pokémon. That’s some garbage right there
Shaymin is a mythical, which justifies it being event-exclusive
You can still get Shaymin Sky though, Gracidea is put into every game now. Spiky eared Pichu isn’ta form, it was a little quirk of a Pichu that they decided to have in the games for a bit. The hat Pikachu don’t have different stats or Abilities, so kinda different. A closer example would be Cosplay Pikachu, but at least you could get that any time in ORAS, though it actually annoys me too because you can’t transfer it.
I’m torn as to whether or not it actually will be event exclusive. It could just be a exclusive event one that’s supposed to be Ash’s and then you can get a regular one in game??

This wording on Serebii doesn’t say it is the only one capable, just that it is capable: “which they’re listing as a “Special Rockruff” that can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc.”, is this just the wording and I’m reading it as there is a possibility that others can evolve into it or is it really the only one. Special could just mean it has Ash’s OT or it has the requirements to evolve into it already.

– More development for the trial captains
– More backstory for the Aether family and Guzma
– Lunala (because I like Moon more so it would be moon) isn’t just given to the protagonist. They hold onto it and train it until Lillie returns and she’s confident as a trainer
– Hau is more of an actual human being and not constantly happy
– Trial Captains and Kahunas deal with UBs
– More explanation of Guzma’s motives and backstory
– Mina is just all over the place in the BG drawing stuff and being her cool weird self
– Lusamine actually does something in her Mother Beast form other than just boosting her Pokémon

I like the idea of a rotom Poketch. Since it will probably be on the Switch, it could be the normal menu stuff like items and Pokémon and all that but then another menu for updated poketch apps
Really I want towns to be bigger. Make Jubilife City a real city. I wanna be amazed like I was when I first played Platinum.
I also hope they keep the amazing themes from Sinnoh and up the jazziness. The Jubilife remake theme in X and Y was a good one
Lets be honest as always …..usually I feel most of the common fans opinion r not mature and kinda silly but this dusk form kinda wired I like its colors but they didn’t even change his tail or facial expressions ……the only amazing part about it is those midnight eyes but the big question is y this thing should be hybrid between both forms and y dusk form should be related to the moon ??
