Bewear was kinda a settle, I mean I know deep down I was at least try to catch one, I wanted to see if we got a decent Electric or Steel type which clearly didn’t happen
The anchor might be part steel. I’d guess steel/ghost. Even though anchors go in the water I don’t see how they could manipulate it.

in game I can deal with them no problem, so its not a big deal for me. Mono fairies is my niche so I gotta do it for my first run every gen (obviously since gen 6 because thats when fairies happened) ^_^
Honestly I can’t believe they only kept 3 lines of pokemon secret (excluding legendaries/tapu’s) if this dex is indeed all we got. One of those lines doesn’t even evolve.
Yeh, I find that very hard to believe.
As much as I enjoyed the regular reveals that they had going on, I would have preferred not having them so regularly if they were to reveal pretty much 90% before the games come out.
Yeah. Maybe they just thought if they gave us most of the dex there wouldn’t be as much leaking or something..too bad that turned out untrue. It’s just hard to make a team with only new ones.

No, I mean given the dex that leaked, Gamefreak revealed everything except 3 lines: Sea Urchin (which ended up leaking before anyway), the spider thing, and the anchor. Everything else they either showed us or showed us something in its evolutionary line.

I wouldn’t trust anything new from him, the first stuff he was right about but I think at some point he started winging it, as seen by Toucan not being next to Pikipek.
The guy who put this together has changed the question marks to say Totem, and in the case of Zygarde, Cell and Core.

Theres 7, 2 represent the same trial, making 6, but Wishiwashi School form is a boss of another trial, I’d assume it’s not a Totem due to it’s Ability, but still a boss, so 7 Battles. I do hope theres more than 7 Trials though.
But so far we have, Normal, Electric, Grass, Fire, Ghost, Dragon, which all have Totems, and Water. But 7 still doesn’t seem like much, theres got to be at least 3 more.

Theres a reason I included UB, they’re catchable and so have Dex Numbers , I didn’t include Alolan forms because they seem to still be their original Dex Number, which is also why I didn’t count Mega Evolutions

Been doing some research. According to an Online Moari Dictionary, Tapu means Sacred, and under atua protection. And Koko means wind. So Tapu Koko is Sacred Wind. From this we can determine the other 3’s names. Despite their typing, I think they might be basedo n the 4 elements.
Tapu Koko is Air.
So Tapu Koko – Sacred Wind (Electric/Fairy) Looks like a Bird when closed.
Au means Earth and Whenua means Ground,
So, Tapu Au or Tapu Whenua (Psychic/Fairy) The one that Resembles the Squid thing.
Ahi means Fire, as does Kanaku,
So, either Tapu Ahi or Tapu Kanaku (Fire/Fairy) the one that resembles the Bull.

I think Sirenade is going to be used in the meta if it ends up part fairy, game explain noticed its stats leaning toward defenses. (though popplio was low level so thats up in the air) and could you imagine if light clay extends Aurora Veil like it does reflect/lightscreen.
It seems to favor Def and SpDef which seems promising.
I swear I’m going to find a competitive niche for Rowlet 3 even if it takes me all gen.

I really hope Rowlet3 gets a decent HA. If it gets something like Sniper, based on the exclusive move it seems to get, I’m going to be really disappointed.
Why? That will make any of its moves do 3x damage in exchange for 1 turn set up. Technically, if it faints or switches out, thats stronger than Swords dance or nasty plot.
Maybe paired with Focus Energy, but the new move seems to only work for the next move used. It’s easy to work around.
“For the next move used” like it has all that time time…Ice Shard and Gale wings say hi.
Plenty of OU Pokemon with 4x weaknesses. And you have the rest of your team to build around these weaknesses. It’s not just this Pokemon vs the rest…
I know but a pokemon with a x4 weakness may not be used in term of turns.. It’s a sweeper or a great wall like Aggron or Ferrothorn. I don’t see Rowlet3 being a wall and what’s the point of using a two turn moves if the target switchs to Abomasnow after you use it?
Rowlet3 is clearly going to be the Greninja of this Gen. Maybe not as good due to Protean, but it’ll be fast with good attack. And the point of this move is not to wall something, it can scare something out because of what can come next. 4x weakness is not how you judge a Pokemon, it’s their stats and abilities that determine how good they end up being.
It will not be the greninja, Infernape at best. It has high hp and it’s slower then litten at the moment so do not expect more then 100 speed. Weavile is still out there.
Speculation still, but Rowlet3 based on final designs should end up being the fastest starter of this trio. Oh boy, Weavile is out there, surely my entire team of Rowlet3 is shaking scared and I won’t be using any other Pokemon to counter threats xD
I’m not saying it will not be useful, I’m just saying that imo it will not be that useful, It will ends up like MSceptile, which may be really useful sometimes but it’s not a wall and it’s not a great sweeper either imo. That’s all.

Predict the switch. You assume a reactionary battle style. Truth is, we can play “what if” all day long. But we wont know until the games come out and we test it. This is all speculation.
Which in turn can also force switches if used on pokemon they dont want to lose, or wall breaking as critical hits ignore boosts to def/sp.def. i think it’d be awesome.

Psychic is unfair, is not a physical power they could gain. Popplio and Brionne descriptions have nothing to do with psychic power (think of Fennekin and Braixen who had psychic power since beginning)

I see Poppulosity to be competitive useful. It seems like it has high hp/def/sp.def so it can be a great wall using Water/Fairy. For rowlet it seems unlikly it have more then 100 speed and this is deadful for its x4 weakness to ice and Talonflame being out there with Fire and Flying priority stabs. While Tony has may have a good coverage and good speed too. I hope it will not get shitty defense cause its speed will go down 100 for sure (and its design is meh) so there may be better options out there.
