After what has seemingly been an eternity Nintendo has announced that a teaser trailer for their mysterious NX console will be released today.
The trailer will be live at 7AM PT/10AM ET/3PM BST/4PM CEST. We’ll update as and when it happens!

It is. Tsunekazu Ishihara (president of The Pokemon Company, TPCi’s Japanese branch) confirmed that they have plans for it.
But the trailer in a few hours time probably won’t, it’s only three minutes long.

I just hope they’ve got some good launch or near launch games, the huge problem with the Wii U was the absence of well known and amazing games at the beginning got its life

I’m not gonna lie i cried. It was for the greater good of protecting kalos. I know a lot of people won’t see it that way though and will turn it into some reason to hate Ash which will irritate me.
What happened? I don’t really watch the anime.
From my understanding (subs aren’t out yet) kalos is kind of infinitely fucked up from team flare’s actions and Ash released Ash-Greninja to help Zygarde protect the region. (Upon Zygardes and Greninja’s request)
Ash’s Greninja has the ability to see the cores of those red plants. Not even Zygarde has that, thats why it asked to stay in Kalos.

I’m honestly more scared than excited. What if everyone ends up becoming disappointed/unimpressed about what the NX really is, that leaves another mark on the “unimpressive Nintendo streak”.
Exactly my worries. I want them to be loved again. Bias confirmation makes everything better. haha
I hope they finally realize arguing over other consoles is kinda pointless. The One and PS4 are not exactly loved…. Nintendo master race?
Oh I mean I’ve always been Nintendo Master Race lmao I think they make the best games hands down. I just want them to focus on being Nintendo. Instead of trying too hard to appeal to a specific demographic. Make great games and they will buy the hardware.
I’m happy to finally get an announcement but I’m really not all that excited. I’m definitely down for a hybrid thing if it means only buying 1 piece of Nintendo hardware per gen. BUT I have a bad feeling digital purchases from my 3DS and Wii U will not be moving forward and I have a bad feeling Nintendo isn’t going to give up on reclaiming the casual audience.

Any one else dislike the fact that you can possibly miss out on events if you dont pay close attention to them? For example I missed going out with Hau to eat malasadas because I didn’t do it right away. I know it’s minior (hehehe) thing but I just hope I don’t miss out on any good deals in the main game. Going to have to be extra observant in Sun & Moon!!

That’s opens up a ton of plot holes… and how is it supposed to help Zygarde? I mean ithe can’t do its job now without help? Sometimes I wonder what Arceus is actually doing during these types of fiascos, like I feel like he kinda looks on like one looks at an ant farm. Going to have to watch the last few episodes of the season.
Its sort of hard to explain if you dont watch the anime. But in the Team Flare arc, Lysandre was able to mind control a second Zygarde and it created these weird thorn like plants. Those plants have red cores, but they can’t be seen by the naked eye or regular Pokemon. It turns out only Ash’s Greninja and Ash (if in Ash-Greninja form) can see/feel them.
