I was trying to train one of my two pokemon I need to train on my way to school this morning, and I realized that I forgot to put it in the PC overnight, so it got cured of Pokerus. .~. I had to do the whole thing in ST. 🙁

They should at least. I’m 99% sure that standard battle format does that, which is what we’re using in game.

Why didn’t you do the horde battle method?
I tried to, but I lost Pokerus. It would’ve take twice as long, and I’m actually pretty good with ST, so it’s faster that way. If I have pokerus, I use the horde method.
It still would be faster since you get 5ivs per pokemon, battles are shorter than super training and you can add EV boosting items
A pokemon cured of Pokerus keeps the EV boost. “Though the virus is gone, the Pokémon will still gain twice the EVs it would have gained before the virus.”
Or do you mean you can’t pass it on to other pokemon now?

I tried out showdown.
First match I lost because I was up against 3 legendaries and it’s been ages since I last battled.
Second match I lost because I went in with normal pokemon and it had some weird rule about allowing multiple mega evolutions on pokemon that don’t even mega evolve. It was weird.
Third match now, completely randomised and the other player resigned half way through after I beat their hoopa unbound with a Sandslash XD

Random battles are a lot of fun when you don’t want to take things seriously.
I’ve just done mostly random.
I’ve won about 50% of the time because I’m out of practise, not really thinking things through and one time because the player got Kyogre out as their first pokemon.
I need to wait until I can sit down and think up a good team arrangement before I take anything serious.

I’m sorry if this has been discussed before, but, I gotta ask what you guys think is going on with Gladion’s freaky hand (unless you tell me that’s some sort of edgy japanese thing); my ~completely made-up theory~ is that the connection between Lillie, Gladion and Lusamine has to do with the Ultra Beasts, and that maybe each one of them are a beast themselves. Maybe that freaky hand is due to an inconsistent transformation (I mean, his – and lusamine’s – hairstyle looks very unique, it could be the outline of a future Ultra Beast). I guess we’ll have to wait and see ?
