Not only the Poké Riding, but at least with the leaked Starter Evolutions we can clearly see one of the Trial Captains in the art, and the final evolution of Litten is probably holding two of its middle evolutions.

- There will be no traditional Gyms and no Pokémon League in Alola. Your goal is to actually create one. After you do, an Elite 4 will appear which are the leaders of each island

- The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
- New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there
- Rockruff’s evolution is a Werewolf
- Mashadow, another copyrighted Pokémon name, has a very unique type combo

Jokes aside about Gumshoos, I actually like its design. Usually not too fond of Normal types (except for Lopunny and Teddiursa) but I might actually use Gumshoos in my playthrough.

Call me skeptical, but we still dont know if every single leaked pokemon is real. The starters sure are, but thats about all we know for sure. Leakers have only gotten portions right before.
Also, I think its safe to say that HM’s are gone since you can call on the riding pokemon whenever you want to fly, break rocks, etc.

I just saw this and now I understand the Variant types. It’d just like how a species exists in two different place, but are different in both places. I thought they would just change the type and not the design, but that’s cool that they changed the design too. Also the Pokémon in this region are so confusing…. So many different forms and Cores and whatnot.

Really new cool things, but the starters unfortunately still are a huge problem. I fell like GF has completely given up on starters since 3 gens ago. These ones look sloppy and too far from the “let’s simplify things” speech. Especially the water one, that is basically a bad joke.
So sorry you don’t care for them, hopefully there are some pokemon in the region that suit your fancy so you have something cool too.
I love the starters, especially the water one (might be my fav ever) but I understand some people do not

I expected conflicting opinions. People were arguing before about feminie and masucline looks in species. I honestly have already grown with these starters. Rowlet’s my favourite, but the others aren’t bad. It’s something new! Yet, opinions will vary, but they do have a bunch of personality!
