Also, your link says that Ninetales becomes fire/fairy. I’m sure that doesn’t make it any more or less credible, but I suppose the fact that Ninetales was mentioned at all gives it some merit.
Im hoping their stats get a bump because Ninetails and Sandslash in question have pretty mediocre stats.
I just read the site info on Sandshrew and Sandslash, and it says they are slower than their Ground-type counterparts, so stat changes will happen 🙂

These Alolan variants actually make a lot of sense. If the originals can’t be found in-game, you can transfer them from the virtual RBY
