Not only the Poké Riding, but at least with the leaked Starter Evolutions we can clearly see one of the Trial Captains in the art, and the final evolution of Litten is probably holding two of its middle evolutions.

Yes living dex it took me a while cause I started completing since Platinum and some of the starters had to get them female to breed out their evolution.
Ah nice. Didn’t you just use a Ditto, or you had a strict “Pokemon have to come from the correct Region” living dex.
I started with platinum so no ditto yet once I got HGSS it got easier with ditto and then when I got BW no ditto again so had to just breed them and by the time XY got out I just needed those and legendaries and mostly from gen 4

I just had an interesting shower thought ?what if the rumor that ninetales would have a fire/fairy Alola form is still true. But it would be exclusive to sun and the ice/fairy would be exclusive to moon. I think some popular pokemon could gain more than just one Alola variant similar to how Mewtwo and Charizard gained two mega evolutions each. And just like what happened with mega charizard y and mega mewtwo y, you wouldn’t know about an alternate form because it wouldn’t be revealed until sometime in the future ☺

Exactly. I think that’s it for hm’s. I saw rock smash, rock climb(horizontally), surf and fly gone because of these pokemon. Sun and Moon are really changing things.

This pic suggests that episode 43 marks the start of Ash’s Elite 4 challenge, but the recently revealed data broadcasts had Greninja as the episode 43 focus. Why would they dedicate an entire episode to 1 Pokémon, if its really about a Elite 4 challenge?

Hey all! I’m new here and was so excited by all this news I just had to make an account and comment!
While looking through all the news and rumors my creative juices started flowing. I came up with a sort of theory for how they can handle the elite four/champion without a league or gyms. And it has to do with the rumor that Blue, Lance, Zinnia, Chnthia, Looker, and AZ will all be in the game. They, with the exception of Looker, will act as an elite four of sorts and champion.

Also my soon to be Mudbray is stubborn, and extremely territorial about mud and shown to be a freaking powerhouse and resourceful at using muddy battlefields to win (like splashing a wave of mud to block an attack and using the slipperiness to speed up)

I can get behind Rowlet and Litten’s final evolution but there is something about Popplio’s that just doesn’t connect with me… It looks too different and it’s not because it seems very feminine. I don’t know, we will have to wait and see what types they all get and what the second evolution looks like. I’m thinking its Grass/Flying, Fire/Dark, Water/Paychic (if it is based on a siren, they sang songs to trick their prey into thinking they were something else, very psychic which is why I say that instead of Fairy).

I don’t want them to evolve fast. That’s what happened in X & Y and it was lame. You had your final evolution starter long before the last gym leader.
At the beginning I was Litten and Popplio all the way. If this is true, I don’t know. It had so much potential! But we will see I guess. Maybe it’ll be an awesome Pokemon.
You don’t have to like everything. I do believe that Popplio’s final is Water/Fairy as it appears to be a beautiful siren. Plus, we could use another Water/Fairy type. We already got Bruxish, it doesn’t mean that we cannot get one. We don’t even know the type of the starters.

As Zinnia is predicted to return to S/M, I really am wondering her role. We know after OR/AS she begun to journey the world. I’m not surprised she’s making her way to the allow region. Personally, I think that she will be giving you a Key Stone. I don’t know if she returned Maxie or Archie’s Key Stone after the events of the Delta Episode. So, she might have a spare Key Stone and demonstrate Mega Evolution to the player.
She should be Ash’s companion in Alola

I knew the Pokemon franchise needed a Mermaid/Siren Pokemon, but I didn’t know how it should look like. Then I saw Popplio’s final evolution and I thought: YES. Perfect design for it tbh. I guess the thing that throws people off is the fact that Popplio doesn’t seem the least bit feminine but I guess no one else can throw a curveball like Gamefreak can.

I keep wondering about this. If this is true, than Rowlet could still evolve into a Grass/Ground-type burrowing owl. Litten can evolve into a quadrupedal Fire-type BEAST, and Popplio could evolve into a more masculine looking version of its supposed siren-like final evolved form. This could be that connection that Rockruff has with the starter Pokémon. This might just make everyone happy.
Y’know what? I hate the idea of multiple starter evolutions as it messes with an established pattern in an impractical and uncalled for way, but if we got exactly those three alternate evos, I’d be completely behind the idea. Yay for 2 awesome Rowlet evos and half the others being at least sound in concept!

To reply to Claus, I feel mixed about the split final evolutions, but it could potentially work especially with GF already trying out new things this gen. I know a few people have mentioned different genders, and it could work – Pyroar worked enough, and both female and male are quite distinct. Who knows.
