The Chinese Rumor & Leaked Starter Evolutions Confirmed True + MORE

With the latest Pokémon Sun & Moon information, we can now say that the rumors seem to be true. Not only the Poké Riding, but at least with the leaked Starter Evolutions we can clearly see one of the Trial Captains in the art, and the final evolution of Litten is probably holding two of its middle evolutions.

4chan Rumor

For now these are going to be de-confirmed since a number of Pokémon listed appear not to be getting an Alolan form

  • The anime’s Ash-Greninja will appear in the game
  • Alolan Rattata & Raticate are Dark-type
  • Alolan Butterfree is Bug/Psychic
  • Alolan Abra, Kadabra & Alakazam are Fighting-type
  • Alolan Nidoking & Nidoqueen are Poison/Fighting-type
  • Alolan Growlithe & Arcanine are Water-type
  • Alolan Doduo & Dodrio are Fighting/Flying-type
  • The previous versions of Pokémon which have taken on new forms will only be accessible by bringing in from older games
  • Furfrou gets new styles
  • New cat Pokémon varies in type and appearance based on breeding
  • There is a new snowman Pokémon line with two stages and it is Ice/Ghost
  • Not to get hopes up, but there may be two final evolutions for each starter

Chinese Rumor

  • There will be no traditional Gyms and no Pokémon League in Alola. Your goal is to actually create one. After you do, an Elite 4 will appear which are the leaders of each island
  • The final starter evolutions will be an Archer, a Wrestler and a Siren
  • The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
  • New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there
  • Rockruff’s evolution is a Werewolf
  • Mashadow, another copyrighted Pokémon name, has a very unique type combo

    Darca

  2. So the bad news is my phone doesn’t remember my keychain passwords
The good news is my photos, Apple account, mail and notes seem to be fine
And I remembered to write down the insanely important ones
But I’m stuck at work and on the verge of a freak out, I need to make sure my IPad is safe

      • Out of nowhere my phone seems to half-way reset itself and sees itself as a new phone
Like my Apple ID and YouTube sent me emails to allow my phone to access the stuff
But things such as my apps and notes and photos seem to be fine
All that matters is my iPad is safe

  3. How Littens evolution was made:
Guy1: we need to come up with an evolution to Litten, something original
Guy2: how about we make it bipedal, like all the other fire starters and then make it a wrestler! But we won’t make it a fighting type because we already have 3 of those so let’s just make it a dark type. Fans will love it!

  4. Wow that is freaking cool that Pokefans think alike yesterday me and my friend were talking what if Minior was a pre evolution of Solrock and Lunatone and today he send me a link of a video saying the same thing!! lol

  5. Against my personal intentions to withhold potentially harmful information I feel it’s my informatic duty to report any and all up to date info
Nintendo Everything has personally translated the Concept Art sheet and this is what it says about each

    Rowlet
    – Has a calm/cool persona
    – Tightens its hood when its upset or irritated
    – Uses its quills as arrows and vines as the string
    – Its difficult to notice which helps it ambush foes
    – It likes to rest on Tree branches

    Litten
    – Has a wild and gusty persona
    – Fights dirty- spits ember in its opponents face, isn’t above using unconventional items or means
    – Uses Fire Spin from its belt.
    – Has a signature move called BeastTiger Swing
    – That Belt gets hotter the more “passionate” it is.

    Popplio
    – Uses its voice to charm and or lure opponents
    – Has a elegant and welcoming nature
    – Is very playful

    • This sounds awesome. Litten3 is definitely sounding like a heel wrestler so I feel like he’ll end up being a fire/dark type which is great with me. Also Beast/Tiger swing sounds like an amazing name.

  6. Listen, Alolan versions are a cool concept and all BUT if they wanna XY’it and make less pokemon because of them they can keep them. I cant have the amount of pokemon to be double digits..again..

      • It’s not lazy, it’s smart. If they contiuened at the same rate, we would have 1000 pokes by gen 8. This is obviously a lot for one coherent video game franchise which is why they’ve began coming up with substitutes for making completely new pokes. It’s a great way to ensure longevity

        Reply
    • I actually don’t mind. Because the Alolan Pokemon are in effect new Pokemon in themselves.
Considering they have new types, abilities, move pools and hopefully stats, I’m perfectly content with having around 100 new Pokemon and a bunch of Alolans.
They’re just being lazy with designs. And I don’t care much about designs anyway.

    • honestly they are going to have the same amount of new pokemon regardless of weather or not they had introduced Alolan variants. Its like when people complained about the release of MM3D being made because they thought it would take away from developing a new game, but it doesn’t, and this doesn’t change anything. isn’t it just easier to except whats new (and they are new) and move on? because chances are they have had the new mons that are coming out in S/M planned for a while now and alolan variants are not taking away from then, but rather adding themselves to the already planned roster

      Reply
    • They are revealing completely new Pokemon at such a rate we have to have more than XY, but that may only be like 20 more. I don’t mind much though, the adaptations are a cool concept, but I fear your right.

    • Hey maybe we should go back thru the archives of pokejungle and ask the guy from back when xy came out that his dad or uncle worked for GF and got fired so he was leaking a bunch of stuff like the lack of post game and he even called it on the low count Pokemon.

  7. My creative itch rashes up
    Grogre (Grow and Ogre)
    Grass/Water
A slimy shambling swamp monster covered in dirty dark green kelp and mud with seldom seen bright glowing yellow eyes, large lumbering fists, it has a single Lilly pad or lure weed atop its head to attract prey, and has a very large maw with large teeth but it rarely uses them, this Pokemon prefers complete solitude and will do anything to ward off unwelcome intruders

I don’t have a name, but think of a Pure Water crazed spiky Clam with a long sticky siphon tongue and large teeth and large eyes, they sit in the ocean floor In hopes to snag food with its tongue

Lastly Fighting/Flying Martial Arts Crane Kwonkrane
a tall elegant white and red Bird with an impressive wingspan, a long plume from the back of its head like a headband, and skinny yet powerful legs

  8. alright it’s time for 4 Island discussion: when i looked at the map of Alola, I think this Island has 3 4’s the layout is this:

    Oricorio Typings-Fire/Electric/Ghost/Psychic.

    Trial Captains-Fire/Electric/Grass/Water.

    Islands-Fire/Ice/Grass/Ground

    What does it all mean?

    • My vote goes to Vileplume
Either Vileplume in the Alolan Region also have absorbed so much intense sunlight over the generations their petals have gone into overdrive, they’re so effing gigantic that strong enough winds cause them to be hoisted into the air and even glide by adjusting their petals, after years of being airborne they mastered their petals in away that they can achieve flight by spinning into the air like a propeller
      Grass/Flying

      Reply
      • The petals double in length and point out and thin out
They have a pinkish orange color with yellow spots, the “hole” rounds out and has three stigmas
It’s actual body actually turns a brighter aqua color, it’s little arms and legs are a bit longer and leaf like
And lastly it learns Acrobatics, Air Slash, Gust and now Bounce
Nothing like hurricane or brave bird, since it can’t actually fly with its petals more like spinning its body and the angle of the petals achieves updraft and it just kinda falls with style

    • I imagine Marowak is gonna gain the fire type in some way. It’s apparently Kiawe’s Pokemon partner so I think it’ll have a Alolan form

      Reply
        • Well Idk if I have a vision really. I don’t think it’ll lose the ground typing, but I think they’ll add Fire type since Kiawe is a fire type trainer lol Would you be mad if they got rid of the ground typing? hahaha

          Reply
      • yeah, in the screenshot, he says he wants to test “your powers of observation, by watching a dance”. firedancing is a Hawaiian tradition that uses batons lit on fire, that’s kinda how I mimagine marowak will be, its bones will be fire batons.

      • Honestly Bellossum was my second choice
It finally being a big girl and actually look like a final evolution then that puny size

    • Dark/fire Sneasel that adapted the fire type to help it take down bug and grass types when it was forced to live in the jungle.

      Reply
      • ……wouldn’t it have just adapted to the jungle and just be either pure Dark, or at the very least Dark/Poison

        Reply
    • Bug/Fairy or perhaps Bug/Psychic Volcarona. To adapt to the moonlit hawaiian nights, Volcarona has learned to adapt to the abundant moon beams that it can harness in battle. I think it would make a cool exclusive to moon, while regular Volcarona is for sun, if it can work like that. Not sure how day/night cycles are going to work, just that the rumors suggest they’re different for each game

      Reply
      • I wonder if that will be considered taboo in Volcarona ways
I mean they’re supposed replace the sun when it covers in ash

But I can see the Bug/Psychic since it absorbed the cosmic rays reflected onto it from the moon, it’s scales turned white and now basks in moonlight to gain power

        Reply
          • Well When volcanic ash darkened the atmosphere, it is said that Volcarona’s fire provided a replacement for the sun.

        • Yes, that sounds wonderful. With perhaps some light green and pink in there. It would be cool if maybe this Volcarona could replace the moon in pokelore, if it would ever happen. That, or just give me a luna moth that can rival my love for it

    • Fire/Ground or just pure fire type Marowak. It could use a bone as some kind of double sided Torch and it’s skull could be on fire too.

  12. To the people who keep trying to rename the new Alola Vulpix and Ninetails:
Neither of their names have anything to do with fire, therefore don’t warrant any sort of ice-inspired adjectives up in there. Just sayin’.

    Reply
        • no. they are a normal ninetails and vulpix. according to the lore, its just normal for them to look like that. its misleading to say otherwise.

          Reply
          • From Nintendo’s Sun and Moon website:

It is said that Vulpix came to the Alola region together with humans, but the Fox Pokémon moved to the snowy mountain peaks to avoid the normal habitats of other Pokémon, and thus it ended up taking on this form.

These Alolan Vulpix live on high mountains that remain covered in snow year-round. They live in small packs of two to five individuals, helping one another survive.

Alolan Vulpix can freeze anything solid by expelling breath at a temperature of −58 degrees Fahrenheit (−50° C) from its mouth. It doesn’t fare well in the heat, but when the temperature gets too high, it produces ice from its tail to lower the surrounding temperature.

Alolan Ninetales live on a snowy peak that is revered in the Alola region as a holy mountain. They are treated as sacred emissaries, and people meet them with awe and fear. This Pokémon’s personality is extremely gentle, and at times it has helped humans who seem to be in distress. However, it shows no mercy at all to anyone or anything that dares to damage its territory!

The Alolan Ninetales is able to produce ice crystals from the fur that covers its body. It can use these ice crystals to block attacks, or it can form balls of ice with them, which it fires like bullets at opponents. The power of these ice missiles is great enough to pulverize rock!

          • That sounds to me like they deserve their own species names, related to the ‘original’ species’ names, but different. And if you look at the ‘original’ Vulpix and Ninetails and look at their new Alolan counterparts side by side you can clearly see their fur is different than it was on the originals. Their fur is adapted more for cold, windy weather. Hence, their fur is different, not just in color but in its ‘design’.

          • But they are ordinary vulpix/ninetailes, despite having a different typing and appearence. Both fire and ice type vulpix are ordinary vulpix. Just like how shellos is still just a shellos despite its appearance, or vivillon as well.

          • Right but the difference is that this time it’s not just the appearance of the Pokemon that’s changed, it’s the typing too. This has never happened before that I know of, and a Pokemon adapting to its new environment from fire to ice type seems like a very drastic change to me, so why not change the names a little bit as well to show that these are still very closely related to Vulpixes but that they’re essentially their own new species. That is how I feel.

  13. You know I’m still kinds hoping these are fake but if they turn out to be true they have kinda grown especially Popplio’s evolution.
