- Bear is called Kiteruguma. It is described as cute yet deadly. It is classified as the powerful-arms Pokémon. It’s hug is dangerously strong and people in the Alola region regularly put warning signs out. It is Normal/Fighting with abilities Fluffy/Klutz. It’s name is possibly a play on words for “to wear” and “it’s here!”
- Deflated Pikachu-esque Pokémon is Mimikkyu. It is a Ghost/Fairy type with the ability Disguise and is said to lurk in the darkness. It is classified as the bakenokawa (a veil hiding a monster) Pokémon. The body is black and the Pikachu-looking part is actually cloth-like and covers it from the sun. The article warns people about looking under its veil. It’s name seems to come from ears, mimic and ~kkyu (cute/timid sounding),
UPD1: A clearer scan of a section with Mimikkyu’s information has surfaced: “The reason that Mimikkyu resembles Pikachu…!? It modelled itself after Pikachu goods that were all the rage 20 years ago?! It seems it wants to make friends with humans just like Pikachu“.<3 PJ

Could they rival the first gen and 2nd gen games? Cross 20 million, 25 million, 30 MILLION?! Just food for thought. And once again, headlines will pour in about how Pokemon is saving the Nintendo 3DS which it already did with XY and ORAS, but are nonetheless a testament to Pokemon’s CONTINUED growth after 20 amazing years!

The 3DS was a huge success for Nintendo before even X/Y. I don’t know why people say that Pokemon “saved” the system.
But not the success Nintendo was hoping for. Before XY, no other 3DS titles passed the 10 million mark and along with ORAS, they make up a bulk of the games sales with combined sales almost nearing a staggering 30 million! That’s more than the rest of the Top 8-10 combined.
Isn’t it sad that Flareon only gets to own faces in Pokemon GO?

So much excitement. The Trianer Card just sparked new excitement for me. And hope for a better future. I just can’t see them not having the Trainer Card without the Badges just would render it kinda useless otherwise, as the information on playtime and such is on the save screen and other menus. While it doesn’t mean traditional Gyms, it means we’ll get Gyms of some kind I hope.
There are lots of things on the trainer card besides badges, maybe there just isn’t anything or something different where the badges would go…

NintendoChip basically confirmed that the “leaker” just got real lucky and got things right but he flawed on many crucial ones that made his rumor possible so there is still a 99% chance there will be gyms!

I think both. Since they had overlapping theories.
One problem is Chinese leaker got Salandit right. But there’s so much stuff was plausible, such as more Pokemon to ride, etc., that they could just be lucky guesses after all.

I don’t know if you noticed, but Pokemon games of all generations are selling like crazy right now. I knew I should have bought those GBA games earlier, because now the price has increased by almost 2 times. Hopefully the GO hype will level out by November, because I really wanted to complete my mainline collection before then 🙁

I hope there’s an option to switch between gens, I can barely catch another Pokemon besides Pidgey! Plus, it’s keep the Gen 1 babs from complaining.
Nintendo has already made 7.5 Billion+ dollars. They don’t need to make people pay for such features! Just adding free content will make them more money.
I think I’ve figured out how the menu works. Basically, the Rotom PokeDex is on the Bottom Screen at all times. When the X Button is pressed, the actual menu appears. There is an arrow on the upper right, which is how you get to PSS and Super Training.
Additionally, I believe the gems on the Trainer’s Bracelet will work like this: So, the trainer will be collecting various gems through the game. Each gem will corrispond to a certain type of Pokemon. For example, a red gem will power Fire-Type Pokemon. The trainers bracelet could hold various gems. I think a Pokemon that could Mega Evolve will evolve from the power of he respective gem and Pokemon that cannot will use the Special Moves. You could either Mega Evolve or use a Super Move on a Pokemon. I just wonder how GameFreak will balance the feature.
So there are multiple crystal and they are used for the super moves. And Amie is back. And we ride Lapras and Sharpedo could HMs finally be gone? Would be nice. This makes synchro less likely to exist thankfully and seems to remove god awful megas. Only problem is while this isn’t exactly what was predicted this is pretty close and I really don’t want that though I expected it sadly.
Uh. I don’t know if Megas are completely gone. GameFreak will not toss away concepts that quickly. I have faith that Megas are still in the game.
I dunno how it can be worked in with them having these super move bracelets. Megas are shit and deserve to die. At least give me that if the shitty rumor is real.

I think Sylveon was just a gimmick used to sell the Fairy-typing and ease us into it. I’d say cross-gen evolutions really ended in Sinnoh.

The dream world isn’t in the same vein as Mega Evolutions. It didn’t impact the game in any way, I’ve never even used it. I see Mega Evolutions in the same vein as the Steel, Dark and Fairy types and as we all know, those types aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
I wouldnt put it in the same place of types.
They’re the same in a sense that they impact the game in a huge way and they’ve been added for a reason, to shake up the Pokemon formula and besides, they wouldn’t make 2 (4 if you include the other versions) entire games heavily revolve around Mega evolutions if they were just to remove it the very next generation after.
i think megas will come back but i do believe is very shady that there has been no mention of megas at all

Here are my thoughts. There’s 8, 9 or 10 slots on the Synchro Bracelet. I believe that there will be a jewel for each type. The strategy will be choosing which jewels to use, depending on your choice of team. I imagine that if you can only use 3 or so per battle, the strategy will be enhanced even more. Sounds a lot like Megas, which would make sense because it would theoretically replace that mechanic.

I think my favorite aspect of these games is the rainbows. The rainbow “Registered” that shows up in the Pokedex, the rainbow on Kukui’s hat, the shirt with the Pikachu surfing on a rainbow, and hopefully many more. :p
