A Chinese rumor about Pokémon Sun & Moon has seemingly gained credibility after predicting a Poison/Fire-type Pokémon which was fulfilled with the reveal of Salandit. You can read it below, translated by Cresselia~~ of Smogon Forums.
- There will be no traditional Gyms and no Pokémon League in Alola. Your goal is to actually create one. After you do, an Elite 4 will appear which are the leaders of each island
- The final starter evolutions will be an Archer, a Wrestler and a Siren
- The diamond stones will be collectible throughout the region and act similarly to Mega Stones but not exactly
- New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there
- Rockruff’s evolution is a Werewolf
- Mashadow, another copyrighted Pokémon name, has a very unique type combo
In addition, it seems that the majority of the images of the “leaked” starters (seen above) have mysteriously disappeared from Google image search. There is no way of knowing but it is possible official takedown notices have been sent to have them removed from search results. This is a warning: I may soon remove the images myself.

I just feel like they put in a lot of work to make these starters truly appealing and I don’t think they would tarnish that by making their final evolutions so decisive

This leaks just keep getting worse and worse. So, supposedly there are claims the originator of the Chinese rumors have been sent takedown requests. God. This can’t be happening. This leak could be the end of Pokemon for me.

I actually really like the Rowlet final evolution. Seems like a pretty cool concept.
I would prefer Litten to say on all fours, but can stay as turning into a panther.
I’m really curious as to how Popplio will actually end up. I’m okay with the “leaked evolution”, but not the biggest fan of it.

Well I guess we’ll probably know if these final evolutions are real or not once we see the middle stages in a month or two.

Well, I’m going to assume this all real at this point. No point being paranoid over it. Especially the fired European Employee Leak. Something just seems right about that one. Bond Abilities seem very legit as a concept and something Pokemon would do. While I’m not sure about the Chinese leak, it’s probably because it was translated from someone. Both have two common links: The Starter Finals and the Monkey. Though for the Chinese leak, they didn’t give the monkey a name at all. But that was how they did for Salandit too. And monkeys and gorillas are commonly confused or used interchangebly to describe primate like creatures. And I can see a Ground/Fighting type Gorilla holding a football as a concept.

In every generation everybody “predicts” all sorts of things, especially things that haven’t happened yet (like a poison/fire typing). That doesn’t mean it’s based on smt solid or official, people. Relax.

The thing is: komodo dragons have really poisonous saliva, so a fire/poison type was bound to be one of those, instead of a monkey, rabbit or pig, for instance. No big deal, guys.

No. It’s kinda like Mega Evolution but kinda not, with a meter and when the meter is supposedly full, you get to unleash an “ultimate move”. You find the crystals for your bracelet around Alola supposedly. Pokemon.com says you’ll discover “moves more powerful than any seen before” to further back up these rumors from the fired European Employee.
Supposed names and typings of the remaining 3 island guardians:
Tapu Hee, Water/Fairy and can create rain
Tapu Lono Grass/Fairy and can create grassy terrain
Tapu Lele Fairy/Flying and creates misty terrain
Seems very legit to be quite honest. Though I would think they would create a new Terrain move for Tapu Hee, such as Rainy Terrain. xD
Magearna is also not a Alola pokemon apparently, it was found by the main villain in another region and he/they will use it (probably the Soul Heart thing) to fuse the 4 island guardians together.
thats the only thing I question about this whole leak, but only really a little, because their names all seem so generic but I suppose since Tapu means like holy or a sort of protector it makes sense
It all depends on their designs really. Tapu Koko is basically a rooster. I dont know what those other names mean, but I’m assuming they will be based on basic animals if I’m going by Tapu Koko.
Lono and Lele are the literal names of the god and goddess. While Koko is something that imitating the sound of chicken.
Also, the leaker says Tapu Lono looks like the XY Strange Souvenir when it has it’s true face on to look like a mask like Tapu Koko. I would think it would be Fire/Fairy to be honest, because the Strange Souvenir kinda looks like a tiki to me, but that’s just my take on it. xD

And those names are a bit strange. Tapu Lono is just basically “Holy Lono” and it’s too literal as there is a god named Lono. Same with Lele. It’s like having a pokemon named “Holy Zeus”.

No, it doesn’t if you take the words literally. The “leaker” said a trailer will air “next week” as of July 06. That means the week of July 10-16. I know timezones are a thing, but the 17th falls outside that range.

I’m not sure if we’re looking at the same thread (https://yuki.la/vp/26523876), but it says that 754 and 755 are version exclusives (S and M, respectively). It seems odd that a base pokemon (Cutiefly) would evolve differently depending on the game version.
The Dorsel and Lylaunt family look like version exclusives too. Lylaunt exclusive to Moon and Dorsel to Sun.

We got 2 Eeveelutions in gen 5, 1 in gen 6 so if we get another 2 in gen 7 that’d be nice. Personally I hardly use Eeveelutions, but I do like their designs in general.

Though the Normal/Water Beaver is VERY suspicious considering that we already have one in Bibarel. The way he describes it is also very suspicious.
