The hour has come; we’re about to learn more about the next generation of Pokémon games coming to the Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. - Grass starter is Rowlet; “Grass Quill Pokémon” w/ ability Overgrow. Also knows new low-level Grass-type attack “Leafage” that is available from when you receive it
- Fire starter is Litten; “Fire Cat Pokémon” w/ ability Blaze
- Water starter is Popplio; “Sea Lion Pokémon” w/ ability Torrent
- Alola Region
- Release date is November 18 in NA/JP and November 23 in EU

Idk why but in gen 6 and 7 the 1st evo grass starters really caught my attention I just can’t wait for Rowlet other evos because l loved Quilladin and Chesnuaght I don’t care what ppl say.
Wonder if Phoebe from Hoenn coukd get a cameo. She had that nice Hawai-ish theme to her.
OT would love for the Anime travel girl to have a darker skin tone. That would be a really welcome change, but I guess it won’t happen.

Ghost/Fairy would be really cool, but I think that’s not the case there, though it’s so weird that it could be anything.
Remoraid evolved from a tiny fish into an octopus. There’s plenty of things in the Pokemon universe which doesn’t make sense, XD.
I think the Sun Legendary will be a pure Fire type or Fire/Steel and Moon legendary will be Water/Flying or Water/Psychic.
I’d guess Fire for Sun and Fairy/Flying or Fairy/Bug for Moon

Definitely isn’t, and most of it was also zoomed in in the trailer, it was probably just a small portion of it. Most likely has several smaller islands connected to it, like the Hawaiian archipelago in real life.

I think the general consensus is that this is the first of multiple islands. Presumably the other islands would be more in depth. and this one is just the staring area with little extra features.

I had mixed feelings about them. I loved most of them but others were just really weird. Didn’t feel like they belonged in a KH game.
I thought they were a refreshing addition to the KH universe actually. And a clever way to show what the Darkness looks like in the Sleeping Worlds. Nobodies/Heartless/Unversed would make no sense lol
I guess. The secret ending was worth the game though. It was altogether amazing on 3Ds.
The Moon Legendary is a giant zubat.
I think I like Sun more but I’m not so sure.
The mufasa one is fire/light (light type confirmed) and the batman one is dark/fairy

I think it should just be call fireball, that way other Pokemon can use it without it being weird.

I love all the starters. Considering I saw all this during the summer like when I saw the RS starters and legends during summer break way back, this feels so nostalgic and I want to get back into pokemon even more now!

I’m so much more into the starters now, after the artwork reveal they’ve got much more life into them.

Would anyone like to give their ideas on the stats of the starters? I see Litten being a fast special attacker, Rowlet being bulky on the physical side and Poppilo being a mixed attacker with above average speed
I see Lit as basically Fast Physical or Mixed, Row as Bulky or Fast Either, and Pop as Fast or Bulky Special
