It’s that time of the month again and Corocoro could leak at any given moment! This month the issue is expected to contain some information on Pokémon Sun & Moon and while it’s unknown how much, hopes are high for the first information blowout.
The issue official releases on April 15th in Japan, but leaks are expected any time so what better way to make the wait go quicker than sharing your predictions for the issue? (There are none, I don’t care what you say). We want our readers to share their thoughts and predictions on what they think the issue will contain: will it be new starter Pokémon? Perhaps a look at the mascot legendaries? Maybe you’re not expecting much at all aside from the debut of Sun & Moon in a magazine with a reprint of that wonderful announcement trailer?

And Stunky caught itself
Dumbfounded we accepted the new teammate
We were dead wrong
It was selfish, catty, mean spirited and overall a total beotch
Late at night while all asleep; Stunky let itself out and wandered off, Pancham (who disliked it) followed it, turns out it was plundering nests for food, Pancham tried to stop it but it was too late the Stunky picked the wrong den
A Nidoking’s!!!!
The Nidoking was immediately alerted by the Stunky’s presence and went into full rampage
Chasing them both down back to the camp
Pancham did everything in his power to protect us but was quickly silenced by by a Megahorn
Pancham wounded and infuriated by the Stunky’s Ways a surge of hot blooded but virtuous energy flowed into him and began to EVOLVE!!!!
Pancham had evolved into Pangoro
Equaling the score, Pangoro rushes into to stop the Drill Pokemon
Blow after blow these titans dealt, with his newfound strength Pangoro learns Circle Through and rightfully forces Nidoking out of the battle
In the morning we learnt that Stunky must’ve fled during the heat of the battle, with the slight thought of finding her (yes it was a female) Pangoro yanks her Pokeball out of my hand and angrily twisted into two and tosses it aside

I hope Soon (not calling them S&M..) have a really rich story. Platinum and both Unova games had really great stories that integrated the champions/gym leaders/rivals/villains in nice ways while dealing with complex topics. X&Y fell generally flat on that, other than with AZ and his Floette, imo.
Either way, I’m expecting starter silhouettes, main trainer art, and the two legendaries! Not sure if that’s too much or too little.
Proabably expecting a little too much. In fact, I’m not expecting anything at all. Need to keep hopes low. Especially after the Direct and the whole scandal last Saturday with the Gathering at the Pokemon House episode.

Totally agree. I think we’ll get something similar to Black and White’s first issue where they revealed screenshots of Castelia City and Zorua and Zoroark in battle. Some screenshots at best with no new Pokemon and maybe the revealing of Magearna’s typing and battlefield graphics if we are lucky (Zorua and Zoroark were shown in battle) . Other than that, I really expect little to nothing in this issue of the magazine.

as much as megas are a big thing these days. I hope sun/moon have a smaller selection of megas and introduce more Regular evos and maybe baby pokemon to this gen
Yes, please, I would most certainly welcome this! I rememeber Hiro (famous insider guy) saying that Megas were mostly introduced to catch up some of the older Pokemon make them competitively useful again… I could be wrong on that statement. He may have not said anything of the sorts.
I want Megas to stay with Gen 6. I’ve been very vocal about the fact that I dislike them to no end. Many of those Megas could have been tweaked slightly and turned into real evolutions, bringing the total number of Gen 6 Pokemon to around 100. But we will most likely be seeing Megas again, so sure, why not…
I agree i felt like megas ruined the chances for some pokemon to gain a evolution you could easily made absol and mawiles a evolution honestly i feel like the originally were evos then they decided on the mega concept and changed them
On the fence if CoroCoro will come tonight or not. It has come on the 13th many times in the recent past. The issue with Magearna came out on the 12th. Heck, there’s even rare times it comes during the daylight hours. Most of the time it comes at around 1 to 3 hours after midnight though. *Crossing fingers* It’s pretty much an “any minute now” type of situation.

I stay up past midnight regularly so I’m used to it even though it’s terrible for my health.
Same. I used to sleep in till 1pm a lot in the past. But now I wake up at around 10am/11am because I’m used to getting little hours of sleep. On average, I usually go to bed between 12am (if I am really tired) to around 3am at the latest.
I have to get up at around 7 AM so I only ever get about 7 hours.
I’m trying to get better though.
Because I don’t have a job, I don’t have a sense of routine or urgency to go to bed some nights. Hopefully, when I get employed again, I’ll have a routine back and get more sleep. I liked having a routine. It was nice.

I’m prepared just in case. Joe of Serebii doesn’t seem too optimistic either. While they did say “special features” would begin in last month’s issue, I don’t think they are going to show much. Maybe some screenshots at best with no new Pokemon and Magearna’s typing if we’re extremely lucky.
But still…two full-color pages advertised this issue. That and a lack of new information just don’t mix for me.
You think we’ll get something bigger? Well, I admire your optimism if that’s the case. But I just have a feeling a lot of fans are going to be very upset with CoroCoro brings. At this point, I’ll take anything to be quite honest.
I really don’t know what to think. I’m always optimistic when it comes to CoroCoro, so there’s that. It’s possible that the two pages were celebrating the magazine’s first acknowledgment of Sun and Moon and the start of new information, regardless of how important it is. In the past, however, starters and mascot legendaries were some of the first things to be revealed, so that’s why I’m expecting them soon.
Well, I’ll be happy with whatever CoroCoro may bring. No matter how big or small. 🙂
Oh, and another thing. A relatively uncelebrated piece of text on those two pages promises some sort of “legendary opening”, which could reference legendaries. I have no verification for this, as I don’t understand Japanese at all, but I’ve seen multiple 4chan users mentioning it.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m sure the Starters will be 3 brand new ones. But then again, we’re not Game Freak. But they did give out all the Starters between XY and ORAS. I just can’t see them being that lazy.

It’s this month’s Duel Masters info leaked from corocoro. It’s pretty common that cardgame stuff is leaked before other information(such as Pokemon). And no, just because these people have a copy of it does not mean they will leak anything on Pokemon.
