Dae asks: Acro Vs. Mach

acro-or-mach-bikeI’m back! Finals finally ended, and I have three full months to recover and start to work again on some of my projects. Keep an eye out for a PJM re-reveal very soon, I haven’t dropped it and it will come back better than ever!

Today’s question is more in line with the previous question of Aqua vs. Magma and seeing as Hoenn actually got confurmed, it has all the more reason to exist. So, Acro bike or Mach bike. What was your favourite bike in RSE? And which mechanic did you like the most, cycling up slopes or jumping on rails? Did you prefer speed or would you rather perform acrobatics? Tell us about it in the comments! You can also vote in the poll to the right –>

Know that I will be patrolling the comments more, so watch your steps. I’m trying to find a good and fast way of contacting me should a problem pops up, to mitigate all the outbursts happening. I also have a new idea for an article series, which will most likely be my next article :).

Enjoy the commenting side of life!

  1. I had a dream that Legend of Korra Season 3 was set during 1900’s and one of the antagonists was based off of Hitler… Then I see Ash bending with Korra and the creators talking about how they wanted to capture the essence of beauty in Hitler by adding in Pokemon characters… What a night!

  2. I have a music critique

And this one was brought to my attention a few days ago

in kirby’s RTD, the boss theme is really good, but there is one part that just kind of reks it

@ :27-:33 they get a really smooth sounding solo going, only to just suddenly jump the pace. I think instead of that, they should repeat the first part @ :27-30 once again and add more dramatic sounding instruments to it, such as vocals and harps. I like a more dramatic build up to the “chorus” of the theme.

  3. All right! I have seen a ton of people talking about this, so I decided to clarify it for all of you!!
    X and Y Shiny Breeding 101!!
To breed a shiny several things have to be in place
    1. The Pokemon bred together must be of 2 different areas of the world
(Japanese Ditto/English Porygon)(French Aegislash/German Ditto) This would cause the shiny chances to drop to a very nice 1/800~
    2. Through breeding Egg moves can be passed down as well as IVS with the use of the Destiny knot, and Natures can be passed down with the use of the Everstone!
    3. YOU CAN NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF GETTING A SHINY BY BREEDING A SHINY POKEMON! if you do this it will be a chance of 1/4096 unless they are from 2 different regions! (Only in Pokemon crystal was this the case)
    4. You are going to need a lot of patience! I suggest collecting ~3 boxes of eggs and using the Lumiose City Coin method (place a coin under the Joystick while cycling around the Lumiose City Gym)!
    5. If the Pokemon are the same species/ different IDS/ different areas of the world then you have the highest chance to produce an Egg!!

    HAPPY BREEDING!!!

  4. Did you know that the characters in SSB4 were chosen before development! So, that means that Sakurai and his team knew about the Pokemon in X/Y before it was even announced! Also Greninja, Charizard and Lucario were not chosen by Popularity!

    • He was curious about what to write about. But uou can write about anything relating to your section as long as you run it past you, correct?

      • I saw your comment, but can’t reply now.
I need to go to swim class.
The short answer is, there’s no format to how you post on my website, as long as you meet the requirement for that subdivision.
For example, if you work for Greninja Gaming, your job is to cover all main-series Pokemon game news, in whatever format you feel would express that effectively.
As long as you do your job, post in whatever way you’d like.
I also encourage you to be professional (good spelling, grammar, appropriate language, etc), but also have a little fun with your articles as well 😀
        Hope this helps.
I’ll be back in a few hours so any additional questions I can answer then. 😀

        • Alright, that clears things up a little, but I have a couple follow-up questions for you later. I won’t be present for most of the day today either, but tonight I will be, so maybe tomorrow, I DUNNO. Pleasure doing business with you 😛

  5. Mach Bike – need for speed, baby! That said, I actually hope they bring the rollerblades back. I know they got a lot of hate but I actually loved them once I got used to them.

Also without sounding like a biatch, can people please stop setting up trades in the comments sections of these articles? It’s not the place and it’s a pain in the butt to scroll past miles of friend codes and ‘will you hatch me this please?’ That’s what forums are for.

  6. So. When people complain and say that you shouldn’t let smogon tell you what to use or you should use what you want. Does that mean I can stick my team with a bunch of uber legendaries and NOBODY should complain about it? :p it works both ways…..

    • You worded that weirdly.
Plus I think that the tiers kinda ruined competetives. Partially. Cause people go bytiers sometimes now, Iinstead of using pokes they like to use.

    • While Smogon isn’t bad, it shouldn’t have to be used by everyone. People don’t like being restricted to norm in Pokemon. While they shouldn’t blindly hate Smogon, as they have great tutorials, strategies, movesets, EV spreads, etc. But they do restrict you with Pokemon to win, saying gimmicky strategies are stupid, pointless, and cheap. They also tend to think all-out attacking is the only strategy to go off of. I think Regidudeam and TC would like a word about that. Pokemon is a game where anything can and will go. Luck is heavily based in it, and taking that away ruins much of the competitive spirit.

  7. Personally I’m not the biggest fan of tiers but they do serve a good purpose. However, smogon rules limit ones choices to such a degree where that there is next to no variation in team possibilities.

  8. Last week I was using Kyogre as apart of my team. I didn’t care who complained about it. Slapped on a Choice Specs and Water Spouted everything into oblivion lol. Was it cheap? That’s in the eye of the beholder/trainer. But I like Kyogre and wanted to use it. Your fault if your team wasn’t packing a poke to take it out. But I removed it.. for the time being lmao
