Nyce, so we were having a graduation/birthday party, and we decided to have a bonfire (as we often do) and as we we’re chatting it up Rob accidentally broke the arm of a ruddy old wooden recliner and our first reaction was to take the axes and sledgehammer from the tool shed (and a few hucking rocks) and we began to attack the chair and destroyed it while chanting “Ogga booga” (because we’re morons) and started worshiping the destructive power of rocks
and tore the chair to pieces and fed it to the fire
then we chopped more wood for another bonfire tonight

she’s pretty destructible if you use her right. My friend love Minccino and put a cinccino on his team and it put in so much dang work. Then again, I was really bad at the time.. but it’s scary to face if you don’t have anything scarfed or fighting priority against it.
It’s pretty fast so you definitely need priority like mach punch or a quick fighting type like lucario

Yes. Last gen I used to run it with life orb and it wrecked house and lot’s of people were surprised how strong it was. It was amazing for taking out multiscale dragonites. I don’t really use it anymore cause there are stronger Pokemon to choose. BUT. It’s still pretty good
The only pokes that you have to watch out for is ghost and steel types. Aegislash walls it e.e
I have always thought to use one. It is a great idea imo. Bullet seed tail slap etc. she’s good. But she needs a stat increasing attack so she can hurt as hard as cloyster

Ok so this is my mandibuzz move set:

Knock off
Roost
Taunt
I call the strategy I use spiky stall.
After I use knock off and taunt I let them attack and after each attack I use roost. They are getting hurt after each physical attack and I heal myself up. I have a similar thing with my arcanine. Oh lol the item is rocky helmet
Really cool. Tbh I never really been a fan of bulky stall Pokemon XD I never figured out how to use them and it’s not really my style
Well I did figure out how to use wish/protect forges, but even noobs can do that.
I have grown to like the idea. Since x and y I have gotten more into competitive and a lot of my pokemon are bulky. I like to try a lot of different things. I haven’t used a lot of my older pokemon. I have some of the more used pokemon. But I mainly use less used pokemon. My top favorites are clefable drapion my arcanine my mandibuzz my cradily and my lanturn. By my I mean the way I use them

No. I use black sludge. Mine is more defensive with the attack staying high because of the base stat. I used to run pursuit knock of poison jab and swords dance but pursuit started to become too obvious and I started using a smeargle so I got rid of SD I think I am going to take back SD I decided I like black sludge over assault vest so poison jab knock off swords dance and probably EQ
Interesting. In the lower tiers they use something called “double dance” which they use SD and agility and sweep. But my fav set is the sniper scope lens set. #critcity crit’s on everything.
Mine is sniper because I didn’t care about ability but that is a cool idea with scope lens. Maybe x scissor and cross poison then. And the double dance sounds…interesting. But that’s more for how I use mine if he is more bulk because he wouldn’t be able to survive much
How clever! My tactic is….. attack….. and ultimately lose XD
Well with arcanine it’s will I wisp and heal with morning sun when the foe is low enough use extreme speed. Sometimes use flare blitz for damage and I have leftovers so even before I use morning sun I got the healing

The cool thing for me is I will battle any pokemon. Even OU pokemon because even OU pokemon can have unique sets. My talonflame has max speed so my gale wings will do the fast damage compared to strong damage from an adamant one.
As much as I’m enjoying the anticipation of a comment every 10 minutes, I think I’m gonna go to bed now 😛

The event is Monday, July 7th, beginning at 10:00am PST, a little later than the site’s grand ceremony. Here’s how things are gonna go down:
10:00am PST to 10:30am PST: Event Starts. People are encouraged to go around the website and check out any new articles or improvements that have been made.
10:30am to 11:30am: Staff Updates. During this time, I will be promoting my staff to a higher rank on my website, and individually contacting each staff member with feedback to improve their articles. I’ll also be expressing my joy for having my staff onboard and will be publicly sharing some of the articles published by my staff, because they are so awesome! For those that are not staff, or don’t care about this part of the event, you are welcome to have a “free chat” session in another chatroom. However, interfering with the staff update event will result in a ban. If there is something that the staff would like/would not like to be made public, feel free to let me know. 🙂
~Chatroom Rules: Cursing is allowed, but may not be used against other people. In joke is fine. Being ghetto is also allowed, and is actually encouraged. All staff members and myself should be respected by other people that are not staff, and staff should also respect one another. When serious events occur, such as staff updates, or the Q&A, it is expected that you are on your best behavior, or you will be banned from the event. Additional Notes:
– PJN staff, or even people that are not on PJN are welcome and encouraged to attend the event.

I’m not a triple battle expert at all, but that does sound awesome. And maybe the sweeper has a move like nasty plot or swords dance ?
If possible, but this is just to do some entry damage, as Mat Block can only be used at the start of Greninja’s entrance.
..Just realized my main pokemon I’m making now are all physical… and in my PC, I put everyone in their own category of defensive and attackers, annndd I have mostly physical LOL wow.

To be honest, it was the best year of my life. With stress comes amazing friendships, and I was excited to come back to school every day. Maybe that’s just my community or my “standing”, but Freshman year was a wonderful experience.

– Pixie Dust – 15PP – [Status Move/Fairy Type]. Accuracy 75%

the user lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible. It is sure to strike first.

Beastly! But swampert has low special attack for muddy water, I’m sure theirs other users that can take advantage of quicksands power! Like Gastrodon, Goodra, Clawitzer, Omastar (swift swim)
I could see someone using Rain Dance on another pkmn, switch to Swampert ad mega evolve, then use Quicksand to slow down opponent, use Muddy Water, repeat. You gain and they lose Speed.
Jolt sounds like it should be a priority move 😀 maybe about 40-60 base power?

Pixie Dust is kinda inaccurate and no one would think of using it unless that’s their only status move available. I suggest raising accuracy to 85 (which is the same as (Gen 6) Will-O-Wisp, the least accurate of moves that cause statuses other than sleep)
UNLESS… you are going with the “change ability to Levitate” idea, in which case there should be no status effects, and accuracy is 100%
Pixie Dust has the same accuracy as Sleep Powder. A lot of people would use it.

get a pokemon that knows sweet scent of course, then a level 100 pokemon that knows surf/eq. annndd of course pokerus + EV boosting items from the pokemon battle maison.
for HP: go to that maze forest to horde fight foonguses
for attack: go to the same forest to horde fight trevenant
for defense: go to …anistar city? and go down to the path that has the 2 construction workers in the way and horde battle durants and geodudes
for sp att: go to the frozen cave place and horde fight smoochums and ..ice cream pokemon
for sp def: go to the daycare area and horde fight hoppips or go to the mirror cave and fight mime jrs
for speed: go to either the cave before the elite four and horde fight floatzels (pretty hard to come accross) or go to the meadow with rocks everywhere and horde fight electrikes and those dragonflies.
these make my ev training real quick o: hope this helped somehow!

Pika News Network Clarifications (Expectations, etc):
Formatting:
There is no formatting style here at PNN. You just need to meet the expectation for the subdivision you work in, so feel free to do that in whatever manner feels best for you. I do encourage, however, articles to be written professionally, but with a fun approach to it as well. Two people that exceed this expectation in particular are ShinyXatu and ShinyNoivern. Take inspiration from their articles and you’ll be golden.
Expectations:
During the summer months at PNN, which include June, July, and August, each staff member is required to publish four articles total every month, NOT four articles for each subdivision they work for. This is roughly one article a week. You can do more if you find the time to, of course.
During the school year (September to May) staff is required to publish two articles
total every month, NOT two articles for each subdivision they work for, however. This is roughly an article every other week. You can do more if you find the time to, of course.
Failure to meet these expectations will result in a strike under your name. When you have recieved three strikes, your staff title will be revoked.
You recieve a strike by not completing the amount of articles neccesary for that month. One exception to that rule is if there is not sufficient news that month to cover. A staff vote will determine what “sufficient news” means. If there are three months in a row that there is not sufficient news to cover, that subdivision will be removed from the website, and the members working for that removed subdivision will be given the opportunity to rechoose.
Additional exceptions include a family crisis, you are out of town, or you have any sort of injury that prevents you from posting.
Deadlines:
The only deadline right now is for a Biography Article. The one person that has currently not created a Bio is @Afarr:disqus. This article is due SUNDAY, JULY 6, before 10:00PM PST. If you fail to meet this expectation, your staff permissions will be revoked. The reason for this is because I’ve already given Afarr over a month to create this article, as well as notified him about it. I’ve extended the deadline twice already, and I’m not doing it anymore.
Bans:
If your staff permissions are revoked, you are not allowed to reapply for PNN. That’s just how it’s gonna be. If I have offered you a position at PNN and you have declined, the next time you may apply will be sometime in September.
Subdivision Expectations:
Avalugg Anime- You will be recording a synopsis of all US-aired Pokemon Anime episodes that aired AFTER the initial opening of the site. JP-aired Pokemon Anime episodes do not need to be covered.
Farfetch’d Leeks- Any major public leaks, similar to IAMTHELEAKER and Mr. XY are to be published here. These leaks include anything major AFTER the initial opening of the site.
Fletchling’s Fantastic Fangames- Here, you will ONLY be covering your personal fangame(s), such as Jade Jungle. You can include screenshots, questions and answers, “development diaries,” and things of the sort.
Greninja Gaming- All main-series Pokemon game news is to be published here. Both US and JP-revealed main series Pokemon game news is to be covered. So this includes CoroCoro, anything new in Get TV, Pokemon Direct, etc. Coverage of games like Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are to be posted here. Only news AFTER the site’s opening date needs to be covered.
Hoenn Highlights- Here, you’ll be highlighting important/memorable parts of Hoenn, considering the fact that the ORAS release is slowly coming in on us.
Important Bulletins- Here, you’ll be posting information regarding site anniversaries, staff changes, subdivision additions, staff rankups, and more. Anything important concerning the site itself and NOT Pokemon news is to be posted here.
Spoink’s Spinoffs- Same expectation as Greninja Gaming, except you’ll be covering Pokemon spinoff games, such as Mystery Dungeon or Art Academy. Again, only news AFTER the site’s opening date needs to be covered.
Trevenant’s Theories- Popular, or personal theories are to be posted here. These include the relationships between humans and Pokemon, ingame secrets (Ghost Girl in XY, truck in FR/LG, etc). This is not a place to post creepypastas, which include things like the Lavender Town Syndrome. A new subdivision will be unveiled soon for these kinds of theories.
Typhlosion TCG- You’ll be covering all Pokemon Trading Card News that occured AFTER the site’s opening. This includes anything the US or Japan has surfaced. This can include videos of pack openings, card scans, etc.
Whismur Weekly- Every week, you are required to dedicate that week to a certain Pokemon aspect. It can be a trainer, a game, a type, a generation, an anime episode, an anime series, anything Pokemon-related.
Ranking Up:
You can rank up a total of two times, to Editor, and to Administrator. You can rank up by:
Publishing more than enough articles on a consistent basis.
Exceeding the expectations for your subdivision of the site.
Creating well thought out, professionally written articles.
Attending site anniversaries and special events.
Making exceptional choices when I am not around.
Directing staff when I am not around.
And more.

Impish is perfectly fine. Due to burn and impish, you can survive a physical hit, and with SpD investment, you can survive a moonblast.

I just noticed that all three Hoenn Mega Starters focus on speed. Mega Blaziken has Speed Boost, Mega Sceptile will have a higher speed stat (not confirmed, but most likely), and Mega Swampert has Swift Swim. I wonder why this is. Could it be so they can keep up with a new faster Mega Pokemon? Say…Mega Milotic?

GF can do anything. Also, They like to add a few tidbits here and there to hype up other regions. FR/LG gave us the guy who needs a ruby and sapphire for his trading machine on One Island, and HG/SS had Steven give us a Hoenn Starter.
The Ruby and sapphire were so you could trade with RSE, and I doubt they’ll include an actual part of a region.
It’s possible. Distortian World isn’t actually apart of Sinnoh, technically it’s its own world, a separate entity. A portal to it can open up in Hoenn post game. FRLG had Ho-Oh & Lugia post game, as well as new islands, HGSS had Groudon & Kyogre post game, as well as new locations, so it’s safe to say it’s possible for ORAS to have Dialga/Palkia with a bunch of new island. While the chance is small, it’s still possible. The way Gamefreak works nowadays, you can never say “they won’t do it”.
That’s what I was thinking too. No one ever said that the Distortion World could only be accessed in Sinnoh. I don’t want to assume anything, but yes, it’s likely that they’ll have the Sinnoh Legendaries catchable in ORAS.
Oh wow, I forgot they had both the Hoenn starters and legends in HGSS. :/ So it’s a debate between getting the Johto and Sinnoh starters. Or both! They could give you Johto ig, and Sinnoh post, after you beat Cynthia perhaps?
I just say I doubt it. I think they’ll go towards more of a get a starter or cameo of Cynthia yet again, like Steven was in HGSS. If the Distortion World is in, it’ll be cool, I guess, but I think they should save it to wow people in the Sinnoh remakes.

Just a thought: What if people are miss reading Maxie and Archie’s mega stones. What I mean is, what if Gamefreak pulls a fast one and updates their teams. They could possibly have Pokemon with mega’s that already exist then without giving Camerupt and Sharpedo mega’s. Now I would prefer both of those options where they update their teams to be a little bigger and give both Camerupt and Sharpedo mega’s. The mega stones could also be used for primal Groudon and Kyogre as well. Just food for thought. 😉

I would love for them to make their team bigger, I don’t want them both having Mightyena & Crobat before we fight their megas. But in terms of what mega they’re actually using, its pretty much a given that its Camerupt & Sharpedo. Maxie has the 3 circles on its glasses like Camerupt’s 3 circles on its body, and Archie has the star on his face like Sharpedo’s star. They won’t rehash XY and give them Mega Gyarados.

Mega Camerupt should definitely get an ability that Camerupt or Numel doesn’t know. According to bulbapedia: Camerupt is the only Pokémon whose Abilities all differ from those of its pre-evolution

GUYS! The E4 could get megas! Absol, Sableye, maybe mega Glalie or Walrein, and maybe mega Altaria, Salamence, or Flygon! Plus, obvi, mega Metagross/Aggron or Mega Milotic.

If elite 4 do get mega’s they would be:
Sidney – Mega Absol
Phoebe – Mega Dusknoir
Glacia – Mega Walrein
Drake – Mega Salamence
Steven – Mega Metagross
although they’d probably just limit the mega to the champion, and let the elite 4 get mega’s in rematches or somewhere else post-game 0_0
