As you hopefully all remember we announced last year that we would be holding a network-wide PokéJungle tournament. We opened sign-ups and had an amazing response. However, we didn’t quite feel we were ready to begin the tournament, there were things we hadn’t planned for and dozens of loopholes. Now, we’re ready to announce our tournament again, and open sign-ups right off the bat.
The PokéJungle Tournament 2014 will take place during a few weeks over summer this year, after which our first Champion will be announced. Due to the tournament running over several weeks we ask that you only sign up if you know for certain you’ll be available to take part in each round. At the time of writing we haven’t fully decided how many rounds there will be, but each round will run for a total of one week.
Using the Swiss format for battling trainers will gain points across each round, until all rounds are complete and the Champion decided. The Swiss format for battling allows us to match players of similar skills level in battles. Of course we’re open to suggestions if you don’t feel this format works best.
It is important that if you wish to take part, you fill the form below with correct information. If we believe the information you have provided is incorrect we will sadly have to disqualify you from the tournament. If you wish to back out of the tournament after signing up we will provide a form later for you to fill out, it’s likely back outs will have to count as a forfeit. Sign-ups spots are limited. Once filled we will allow a further 10 people to sign-up and act as back-up competitors should another back out before the first round is completed Official tournament rules, requirements and information will be published soon. Rules can be expected to be a slight alteration of the Official VGC rules. Prizes and awards are yet to be decided.

Soul Dew isn’t in the games files. This kid did find Fairy gem, Shalour Sable & all the other gems, but Soul Dew doesn’t exist anymore 0_0
I mean they can always add Soul Dew in the next games and patch XY to be compatible with it – But I believe they got rid of Soul Dew cause it was broken and to replace them with the Lati-Mega Stones.
My bottom dollar says Red Orb, Jade Orb, & Blue Orb will get replaced with mega stones.

This item was broken on Pokemon who couldn’t be confused like Own Tempo
They didn’t have abilities when the Berserk Gene was introduced.

So what’s this Shalour Sable I keep hearing about? Also, did we ever figure out what the heck is up with the Stranger’s Souvenir?
Shalour Sable is a new item some kid hacked into his game, does nothing special though. Has same effect as a “Full Heal”. Strange Souvenir is most likely a new pokemon. It’s the only item not listed in the official XY strategy guide and has no use in XY.
Just a Full Heal? This is just as dissapointing as Hold Hands. When I learn about leaked items and moves, I EXPECT all of them to be super amazing!
Hold Hands can come in handy for easy evolutions. Apparently it boosts the happiness of Pokemon. But I think its fitting for Mega Plusle/Minun (who, according to that trademarked list will apparently receive Mega’s). Both of those Pokemon introduced double battles, and introduced the move “Helping Hand”, so “Hold Hands” sounds VERY fitting for those two.
That actually sounds a lot better than I imagined! IDK how I feel about Mega Plusle and Minus. I would say that if they get Megas, so should Raichu, Pachirisu, Emolga, and Dedenne, but as we all know, Megas are biased. *Cough* Gallade and Sableye!
=( I still have hope for Sableye. I don’t really care for Gallade though or ever used one lol
Also, not sure if this has been covered already, but the Green vivillon is known as “Fancy Vivillon” and not “Flower Vivillon” as many reported. And the Pokedex can store up to 800 Pokemon. Not sure if that’s any future proofing & what not.
Again, I forgot about those extra Vivillion. 800 Pokémon. This confirms Gen 6.5 even more.

Yep, gen 3 had the most unevolved Pokemon. Torkoal, Absol, Sableye, Tropius, just to name a few…
A few of them obviously received later evolutions and pre evolutions. Roselia ended up getting Budew & Roserade in Gen 4. Nosepass ended up getting Probopass. But still, lots of work to be done in the remakes.

what made it worse was that… Manectric couldn’t even learn flamethrower/overheat/flameburst in gen 3… so it sucked to have an electric Poke XD
I rarely use Electric types anyway. The only ones I ever used on my team were Magenzone and Heliolisk!
I always like to have 1 electric Pokemon on my team through my play throughs haha
I like no more than one of each type, and a Dragon type. I prefer a couple others as well. Also, because I wanted to be even more organized, 2 pkmn from each part of the dex xD
As of XY my playthroughs will always be fire/water/grass/electric/dragon/fairy
with one of those being dual flying XD
