Name change and logo
Already announced in the contest write-up, PJNM will be shortened to PJM. We also have a (temporary) logo featuring Chespin from our in-house artist moving. From now on, Chespin will be the mascot for the magazine, like Sewaddle is for the site.
Tentative release date
We’re still aiming for a mid-February release date. The deadline for all the content is at the end of December, after which we can start putting everything together using Digital Publishing Software. We’ll be using Scribus, since it is open-source but a still relatively strong DSP.

If you want to hit us up with something, you can do so through [email protected]. This is also the place if you’ve got any concerns, complaints, or crazy ideas. We’ll normally get back to you in one day, and we even reply faster on weekends too!
Content announcement
For this week we’ll reveal the staff-focused section. The first few pages will include a page with a picture of every staff member along with a short bio, a poll among the whole staff and two interviews featuring the man behind the site himself and Daedardus! If there is something you really want to know about those two staff members, you can ask so through the email provided earlier.
We have to admit news is calm at the moment, but we’re exploring options to make things more interesting. More on that later. See you next time!

I have been masuding all day for a shiny fletching
I understand that shinies are suppose to be a special thing but they are so unbelievably rare that most people don’t even find one…ever. I have a feeling Masuda meant that obtaining shinies would be easier…due to wonder trading for foreign Pokemon and o-powers for breeding…not lowering actual shiny rate.
I only got 4 shinys in my life

as far as i know, yes. (venasaur raises HP i believe. at least that’s what it said when i did it anyway)
but isn’t it impossible since only pokemon with max stats can use it?
i have no idea really. i just know that HP came up when i finished the venasaur one so i really don’t know that much. I can get the details for it if you want though.

I want to battle so bad!! I trained my comp. team so much and (almost) perfected there movesets. But, sadly this is one of the times where my Wi-Fi doesn’t want to let my 3ds on.

Exactly where in victory road canI find my garchompite? My garchomp is also thirsty for battle.
Bring a Pokemon with Rock Smash to the area of Victory Road where you battle your rival. In the western part of that area, there will be a wall that can be broken. There will be a lighthouse with a Poke ball with a PP Up inside. At the front of the lighthouse is where Garchompite will glow between 8PM and 9 PM

Where do you get the coupon, vp has been trying for a really long time.
My theory is in the cafe next to the trim a lady says if you want to impress her keep a furfrou with the same trim for 15 days or more, and they wouldn’t have you do something like that without some sort of reward
