Name change and logo
Already announced in the contest write-up, PJNM will be shortened to PJM. We also have a (temporary) logo featuring Chespin from our in-house artist moving. From now on, Chespin will be the mascot for the magazine, like Sewaddle is for the site.
Tentative release date
We’re still aiming for a mid-February release date. The deadline for all the content is at the end of December, after which we can start putting everything together using Digital Publishing Software. We’ll be using Scribus, since it is open-source but a still relatively strong DSP.

If you want to hit us up with something, you can do so through [email protected]. This is also the place if you’ve got any concerns, complaints, or crazy ideas. We’ll normally get back to you in one day, and we even reply faster on weekends too!
Content announcement
For this week we’ll reveal the staff-focused section. The first few pages will include a page with a picture of every staff member along with a short bio, a poll among the whole staff and two interviews featuring the man behind the site himself and Daedardus! If there is something you really want to know about those two staff members, you can ask so through the email provided earlier.
We have to admit news is calm at the moment, but we’re exploring options to make things more interesting. More on that later. See you next time!

Too much Robin for him, then he spammed me like 20 times asking for a Double Battle, I kept saying no, but he wouldn’t stop. So I deleted him from my Friends list. I just enjoy beating legendaries even though I hate facing them 🙂

Klefki teach it Light Screen and Reflect. And Give it Foul Play. Make it hold Light Clay!
What’s a good counter for Prankster Klefki?
nothing for ones with swagger…you just have be lucky. But otherwise any ground type. Whimsicott has priority taunt and is faster than klefki!

You need 50 straight wins. I got to 41…..and then Stone Miss Missed 4 times in a row, I was toxic stalled with protect so I lost all 8 of my PP and venoshocked to death 🙁

Seriously though, I hate how unlucky you can be sometimes in these Battle Facilities, where it’s just like the AI is seemingly programmed to win xD I remember losing the last match before Palmer 🙁
Typically even with terrible luck or crits I still win because my team is slow and extremely bulky. So hax never bothered me….but that tentacruel got lucky….I should have just used Crunch….and I didn’t know it had venoshock so it OHKOed my poisoned Chesnaught. I thought it had Sludge Bomb like every Tentacruel I faced 🙁
Oh man, and it would’ve been immune to that too! -_-
Chesnaught is so good in Maison, and I have Ttar to take care of those damn birds with Arcanine taking care of those fairies. But I realized how vulnerable bulk was to toxic protect stall and Stone Miss 🙁
That’s a real balanced team, and bulky too! I’ve done multiple Single Battles with Speed, Pop, and no Defense except for Mega Mawile. (Talonflame, Breloom, and Mega Mawile). And considering Tentacruel’s Defense, probably needed just one Stone Edge =/
I know right! Yeah I have two physically defensive cores Arcanine and Chesnaught plus Tyranitar as my specially defensive one. M Ttar can take +2 or even +3 Hydro Pumps and still survive xD
And to think my planned counter for Mega Tyranitar was a Lapras using Surf ;(

Assault Vest is even Better! It’s Special Defence is higher than Max HP Max Sp.Def Calm Blissey in sandstorm! I don’t use it because I really need stealth rock and those boosted defenses and attack are great! 😀

I just had an aneurysm…(I really like seeing how high Pokemon’s stats can get, it’s what got me into EV training, and now IV breeding).

Oh! Do you have any leftover Clefairy with great IVs? I read Whimiscott learns Encore through breeding, and it’d be a lot easier to IV breed with that come PokeBank time 😀
