Name change and logo
Already announced in the contest write-up, PJNM will be shortened to PJM. We also have a (temporary) logo featuring Chespin from our in-house artist moving. From now on, Chespin will be the mascot for the magazine, like Sewaddle is for the site.
Tentative release date
We’re still aiming for a mid-February release date. The deadline for all the content is at the end of December, after which we can start putting everything together using Digital Publishing Software. We’ll be using Scribus, since it is open-source but a still relatively strong DSP.

Content announcement
For this week we’ll reveal the staff-focused section. The first few pages will include a page with a picture of every staff member along with a short bio, a poll among the whole staff and two interviews featuring the man behind the site himself and Daedardus! If there is something you really want to know about those two staff members, you can ask so through the email provided earlier.
We have to admit news is calm at the moment, but we’re exploring options to make things more interesting. More on that later. See you next time!

Depends on the situation. Your opponent might not use Sucker Punch, and instead set up by using Swords Dance or something because they’re expecting you to switch, so switching out could be a problem. You’d have to rely on gut instinct in the heat of battle xD

I have a Ghost- type, and Dragon- type (Garchomp) I just don’t like Mega Garchomp too much. Scizor is horribly weak to Fire- type moves and there are a lot of Fire- types in competitive. But thank you 🙂

Make sure it has at least IV’s in all defenses, and Attack and Speed. Another note, make sure it always hits first, it is a bit frail after all, but it definitely hits hard.

It’s also confusing. Here’s how it all went down:
I created EspurrTheGreat for a purpose, to stop the trolls always disliking my comments and the haters, etc. Then, I shut down the old Dicie and renamed EspurrTheGreat to Dicie again. This was upon the orders of moving. You can tell because when I log in, my username is EspurrTheGreat, but when I’m signed in, it’s Dicie. That’s due to the name change (upon orders from moving and guilt for creating another account on myself). Basically, this was all because of Archeops127, although it’s over now. This is Dicie, there is no more EspurrTheGreat or shit like that. It’s remaining as Dicie. It was a stupid thing that I overreacted over (don’t start mentioning my sensitivity). So yeah, there ya have it. I’m sorry to everyone about the multiple accounts thing, it wasn’t too well thought out, and made shit confusing. And don’t be so judgemental, it can come out as offensive.

blastoise work as a rapid spinner and because no one is using stealth rock unitl pokebank release its kinda useless

Actually it’s really good. Blastoise gets Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse and Water Pulse. It’s the same as a Protean Boost!

Since if you don’t use pulse moves the ability is pretty useless.
actually the most common switch in to rapid spinners are ghost types i.e. Aegislash and Gengar/M. Gengar to prevent rapid spin. Only Mold Breaker Excadrill as a spinner has even a remote chance of OHKOing both of these extremely common threats.
what about trevenant? it has decent defense/sp.def/hp and i bet i can resist a dark pulse from blastoise
Even if Trevenant switches in and survives one Dark Pulse, what can it do about the 2nd? Trevenant is much slower than M. Blastoise and so is Gorgeist. Dark Pulse is a STAB thanks to Mega Launcher.
harvest with sitrus berry resist the second dark pluse plus a horn leech to 2HKO gourgeist on the other hand is dead pumpkin it can only do damage with a shadow sneak and its dead for the end of the turn
Dark Pulse does more that half to Trevenant with max HP and Special Defence Careful nature (It’s super effective don’t forget….and don’t forget 20% flinch rate. You are not is a good position to be stalling here. If trevenant is not Careful nature it’s a clean OHKO. Plus Trevenant has pathetic 85/76/82 defenses. Calculations for reference:
252+ SpA Mega Blastoise Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Trevenant: 128-152 (66.66 – 79.16%) — guaranteed 2HKO
yeah trevenant without any support is useless so you are right, mega-blastoise will shine not right now but very soon i hope
The only reason it’s not as popular is because it takes up a mega slot. But otherwise, it’s probably one of the best spinners out there.

Starmie is really bad this gen I found! All of it’s moves are nerfed and greninja outspeeds it and with talonflame, Aegislash and M. Gengar roaming around, its not in a good position!
