I still remember the first year the 3DS launched. It was one rough year, with barely any worthwhile games released for the system. After half a year a massive price cut was issued and people thought Nintendo were doomed forever. Nintendo put all their effort in making the 3DS the success it should have been. After a lukewarm 2012 Nintendo tried to hit back with big hits in 2013, one of those being Pokémon X & Y.
People were saying for over two years that they would never the failure that is 3DS, but the tides seem to have turned looking back at the recent hardware sales. Now I ask you: did Pokémon pull you over? Or did you already have a 3DS well before Pokémon was even announced? Or were it multiple games that made you buy it but Pokémon was the decisive factor? Tell me all about it in the comments!

Should I teach Dedenne Discharge? I have Play Rough, Nuzzle, Parabolic Charge, and Volt Switch. Might get rid’a Volt Switch.
do not teach him that maybe get rid of nuzzle or volt switch
Nuzzle is only useful if you also have Electro Ball tbh. Sure it’s pretty handy with ParaHax and it ensures Dedenne is quicker than most of what it faces, but personally I’d go for Thunderbolt over Nuzzle on a Dedenne.
You already have parabolic charge, you should keep it as is. I wish you could get rid of volt switch and replace it with electro ball :/

Yep I bought a 3ds just for Pokemon and Zelda too. In fact I wasn’t even considering getting a 3ds until Pokemon X and Y were announced.
I bought a 3DS because I wanted an upgrade from the Lite and had at that point not yet bought any DSis or anything like that. I figured that the 3DS was enough of an up[grade to warrant buying it, so I did, about the time it came out. My 3DS was getting dodgily close to “at the risk of breaking” so yeah. Got it a while before BW came out I think?
No. I didn’t buy the 3DS for X and Y. I got it when it was first released. Its line-up was terrible, and I only had Super Monkey Ball 3D… Then I got Ocarina of Time 3D. After the 3DS had gotten a really good line-up (for me at least), I dropped it, and some jackass neighbors stepped on it and just left it there. Thankfully, it was right before Christmas, and I got a new one. Then everything was normal. I heard about the English release of the Pikachu XL. I thought it was $100 at Toys R’ Us. Damn Bulbapedia got the price wrong, and my dad had to pay for some of it. But I don’t regret buying it at all 😀

Ehhhh, that’s just how I would do it. My Goodra is a Fairy Killer on my competitive team. Of course, my Aegislash is way better at it, but Goodra can do a decent amount of damage to unsuspecting fairies.

There’s a Berry for every stat that does exactly the same thing.
Do you get it through mutation?
Yep! Chesto and Persim gives Kelpsy. I pretty much just have one plot per EV reducing berry all the time in my fields now.

Not really. Been doing that since Gen II and still managed to have some good times. But with this Gen’s focus on connectivity things might change a bit
