The November issue of CoroCoro has leaked and officially revealed/confirmed some Mega Evolutions, the starter’s final evolutions, and more!
Mega Evolutions
- Mega Gengar – Not an exclusive, gains the ability Shadow Tag but keeps its typing
- Mega Aggron – Exclusive to Y, becomes pure Steel-type and gains the ability Filter
- Mega Tyranitar – Exclusive to X and keeps the ability Sand Storm as well as its original typing
Garchomp Serial Code
In next month’s issue of CoroCoro there’ll be a serial code that will give you access to their special Garchomp. This Garchomp holds a Dragon Fang, knows Crunch, Dragon Claw, Dig and Draco Meteor. The location of its Mega Stone will also be revealed in the next issue – that is, if we don’t find it first.

Thanks to Serebii we now have some new information and pictures of previously unknown evolutions. Details in the spoiler box.

- Mega Pinsir – Bug/Flying-type and has the ability Aerilate which turns Normal-type moves into Flying-type moves, X exclusive
- Mega Heracross – Stays Bug/Fighting, has the ability Skill Link, Y exclusive
- Mega Banette – Stays pure Ghost-type and has the ability Prankster
- Mega Medicham – Stays Fighting/Psychic and has the ability Pure power
Apparently at some point in the game Professor Sycamore will upgrade your Mega Ring so that it can detect hidden Mega Stones. They are only detectable, however, between 8pm and 9pm.

After the 1st Gym as soon as you get to Luminose City and battle Professor Sycamore. He uses all 3 Kanto Starters and once you beat him he gives you one of them.

I believe we can only transfer Pokemon from previous games when the Pokemon Bank comes out and the Poke Transporter.

Its not too bad if your up there in the mid-late 20s you would struggle any lower i think because the gym trainers all have really good pokemon- Relicanth, Lunatone and Solrock among them.

Where honedge and flabebe
Honedge is found on the routes back from Parfum Palace and Flabebe is found in any flower spot. The first one is on the route straight after Santalune City i believe so straight after the first gym.

How tough are the Gym Leaders so far?
Not too bad. The Gym’s are bigger though with more Gym Trainers and they all have some really strong pokemon. Some had Lunatone and Solrock in the 2nd gym.

Helioptile can be found on the route that you ride Rhyhorn. It’s just before the 2nd gym but quite a bit after the 1st gym.

Can someone tell me how does Skrelp evolve? Is it through leveling up or some other method? Also, how das Pancham evolve?

Pancham: Level up with Dark type in Party
Skrelp evolves if it levels up while knowing Camouflage. Pancham evolves at Lvl: 31 if you have another Dark type in your party.
I can imagine stupid filler episode with satoshi pancham titled “why does pancham not evolve?!” or something like that with hunting for kalos dark type…

Spritzee can be found near Parfume palace near where honedge is ^-^

Im playing X so i dont know about Spritzee but Swirlix is found beside the Battle Chateaux which is about halfway between Gym’s 1 and 2. Again i dont know about sachet but Whipped Dream is given to you by an NPC in wither the fossil city or the 2nd gym’s city. They may give you a different item depending on version.
