The pictures above purport to be from a review copy of Pokémon X. As you can see, they claim that this is the final evolution of Froakie, Greninja, and a new Flying/Fighting-type Pokémon called Hawlucha. The latter Pokémon also has a new Fighting-type attack called Flying Press.
UPD2: A new image has surfaced claiming to show the final evolution of Chespin from behind. This is from a different person than the person who posted Greninja & Hawlucha. UPD: Confirmed fake
The poster also mentioned that XP is also much easier to earn and that entire parties will get some from battles with the use of EXP Share, a key item found early in the game. He also mentioned that XY only introduce around 70 new Pokémon. He also said that there barely is any endgame, with you only being able to catch Mewtwo and the Z legendary.
UPD1: A new Pokémon has supposedly been photographed. No other details are currently known. Remember, we do not know if these Pokémon are real or fake, so please don’t consider them as either until they are proven one or the other.
UPD3: We broke the site record for most visits in one day! Also, be wary of all the ‘leaks’ out there, there are so much (blatant) fakes going around that the legit leaks may get lost in it!

Hmmmm, I looked at Greninja more closely and it just looks off. The symmetry on his little head horn things is messed up (can’t see the white one on the other side, and it’s not even because of foreshortening.) Also, where is his torso? It’s barely noticeable because his thigh is more pronounced, not to mention way bigger than the other one. To finish, his stance is just plain awkward (and the foreshortening, again, is very poor) and his feet/hands are not consistently touching the floor (they are uneven in position.) This could be possible if the original artist wanted a dynamic pose that used foreshortening, but it wasn’t executed well.
Also, Hawlucha’s number of feathers in each wing is completely inconsistent. The left wing has 6 feathers, while the other one has 4. And the Chespin 3rd evo has been confirmed fake by Serebii.
I agree with all of that. Not to mention the bird’s wings have a weird consistency with shape and angles. Greninja’s thigh is proportionally awkward.
That is a very good point. I never noticed that. I guess that raises the chances of being fake?
So…When I wake up tomorrow will the final Fennekin form be released…. or? Do I just kind of not need to wake up lol. No school, so I don’t need to and yeah.

Then take a look at the results of polls like this. Seriously, Pokemon is a force to be reckoned with. Did you see it in the character battle? I think Pokemon characters dominated the semifinals (Pikachu, Mewtwo, Pokemon Trainer, Squirtle, Charizard… I think it was 5/9 that were Pokemon characters, leaving just Samus, Snake, Megaman, and Draven).
My dad was shocked to find out most Pokemon players are 17 – 21, no offence to people who are younger or older! That was just an average!
Most general gamers are averaged in their middle aged years. Just to disprove people who seem to think people grow out of video games.
Honestly Pokemon is targeted at kids, but it is still enjoyable for all ages. Kind of like Disney and pretty much..anything. I hate this kind of discrimination…the anime is made very childish, which ruins people’s impersonation of what Pokemon is due to stereotyping.

Also, anyone who grew up on the anime and phased it out as they got older still had the games to fall back on. When I was ~15 years old and Pokemon games weren’t holding me like they used to with me just being happy with anything, I discovered the intricate world of EV training and battling without 4 STAB moves on my starter. It rekindled my love for Pokemon, and its various aspects are great for people of any age. I never would have dreamed of completing the Pokedex when I was 10, but now that I’m almost 20, I just took it as another challenge.
I love Pokemon, but they are just games too. I got really bored, I couldn’t even finish Plat and White. I did finish White 2 but not much post game stuff. The magic just…faded. X and Y is making me feel confident that it’ll bring back that magic that I felt as a kid.

lol at that comic. That was what it was like for me with Middle School being their High and my High being their college. When I got to high school, I realized that people just didn’t care what you played and it was okay to be yourself.

He’s funny, because he’d steal my DS to play Yugioh games on it, so we bought him his own DS Lite and got him Pokemon Black when it came out. He complained that it was a kid’s game, but that didn’t stop him from docking over 500 hours between that and Black 2!

It looks just like the other picture, just with its pose flipped a bit, which doesn’t make sense considering that the new models should be moving. This picture looks really fake.

Unless this was the same person screwing themselves over with this poor picture, I feel like it’s probably some rookie trying to ride the original guy’s coattails and either create false hype or disprove the rumor with a bad picture of his own.
The original picture wasn’t that great. It was one picture, horrible quality, and proportioned weird. Screams fake.
I completely agree. I’ll be quite disappointed if this turns out to be true, but I’ll learn to live with it (just like Emboar).

I think they were referring to the number of screenshots.
That article was referring to the amount of pictures posted within said article, rather than the amount of individual Pokémon within the games themselves.

Then again… A person trying to create a rumour would never give a fighting type a psychic type move, because it would become unbelievable. But the fact that extra sensory is there, kind of makes me feel it’s real.
Let’s hypothetically say that Greninja will be like Poliwrath (for simplicity – though I hope not!). Poliwrath can learn Psychic and Hypnosis and it’s Water/Fighting. So, maybe Game Freak is letting that type of setting follow through (again assuming Greninja is real and it follows Poliwrath’s moveset scheme).
