PokéBeach has posted some new rumors that they claim to have received from a reliable source. As always, I post these rumors for discussion purposes only, please do not post them elsewhere as confirmed information or interpret these as me posting information as real.
New Pokémon
- Trusk & its pre-evolution: Grass/Rock Pokémon with long green tusks and grey skin. Pre-evolution was described as “adorable”
- Apparachnid: Ghost-type spider Pokémon which appears in caves. It is grey with blue spots and has a glowing abdomen. May have an evolution
- Quillom: Normal/Poison procupine Pokémon. New attack with a high chance of poisoning. Its skin is white and its quills are purple
- Badger Pokémon: Name unknown, but it is dark brown with stripes and knows a new biting move
- Froakie’s Final Evolution: Water/Fighting and resembles a poison dart frog. Uses its legs to attack. Its form gets a bit heavier and it is mostly dark blue now
- Bunnelby Evolution: Ground/Dark and round. Much larger than it’s pre-evolution
- Helioptile Evolution: Stands on two legs and has two yellow triangle designs on its face now. Its appearance becomes more menacing and its ears are more rough and there are spikes going down its back. Learns the new attack Thunder Roll
- Espurr: Pre-evolution of Meowstic, very cute
Competitive Information
- Chansey-line, Dunsparce, Clefairy-line, and Togepi-line are now Fairy-type
- Fairy Dust: New attack which causes a random status condition from Paralysis, Poison, Sleep, or Burn
- A Wailmer game is shown for the Super Training Facility games
Game Information
- Team Flare is featured at the beginning of the game in a TV segment. They encourage trainers to match their style and Pokémon
- Opening cinematic in the game is 3D and features the player character watching Yveltal (Pokémon Y?) fly across the sky. More in-game shots follow
- Xerneas and Yveltal’s 3D models can be rotated using the analog stick on the title screen.

Okay. I think this is the full story. Lol. There were two leakers:
One was the Pokebeach one, which is likely real.
The other is a fan who followed up and messed with our heads and came clean and admitted the information he gave was fake.

Most major retail stores won’t be doing this. Where I’m at the small downtown game shop is having a midnight release, but the Gamestop, BestBuy, and Walmart/Target here wouldn’t.
I dont really care about the leakers info was fake, I just hope the leaked “artwork” of Froakies final evo is real, its design is a dream come true!

I sadly agree, but its so well made and it mirrors the description of the rumors, and the art was leaked very shortly after the rumors appeared, so eather it was drawn by someone really quick and talented, or it may be real. I have my hopes up!
Remember back when Black and White were coming out, and there were images on the Internet of what people thought COULD be the final evolutions of the starters? Not many people believed it, but it turned out to be real.

I’d like the Ground/Dark Bunnelby evolution to be real, I’d still like Helioptile to be Electric/Steel, and I’d like Flababe’s evolution (if it gets one) to be Fairy/Bug.
It’s highly highly unlikely that Flabebe, a Pokemon that stands at a few inches tall would not get an evolution. I could see it having two evolutions to make it taller and more powerful because as of now it’s smaller than Joltik.

Those kids have been playing too much Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. That’s where the theme comes from.
As for Yveltal’s move, it’s not Shadow Sneak. Honedge used it in a gameplay in Smash. It looked like Shadow Force to me. I know, it’s Giratina’s signature move, but Yveltal’s the Pokemon of Dea— I mean Destruction, it fits.

Okay, so the leaker is fake…but he did say that the sleeves are the real deal. And hey, people are so nice in Canada they may have really let him use the real sleeves. The Wailmer game is on the back of the sleeve there. That would have been faaaaar too difficult for him to create.

I’m just hoping for a Dark gym :C Seems to be no love in the gym department for Dark-types.
Dark types deserve a gym leader to represent them. I want a girl for one, similar to Karen.
I’m hoping for a Dark Type gym too. Heck, Steel and Fairy (assuming WPM’s leak about fairy being the fourth gym is true) got their own gyms in the games they debuted in!
But Dark got the awesome Karen to represent it in the Elite Four! The last Elite Four member to battle as well!
There was also Grimsley if they count the fact you can battle them in any order. We also had Sidney but he was a little easy.
Sidney had an awesome team, IMO. And Grimsley was a fitting Dark type E4 with an even better backstory!

LOL, I remember a few months ago, Fairies were being made fun of for being girly, with Sylveon and Gardevoir. I felt so much better when Swirlex was confirmed to be a fairy type because seriously, Swirlex looks genderless. Then Xerneas was confirmed to be fairy and is genderless. And let’s not forget about Mawile! It’s no dainty, pretty fairy!

I might be the first one to say what I am about to say, but I still have hopes of these rumors to be true. I could’ve EASILY gone to my Gamestop, take pictures of the game sleeves (or boxes), copied and pasted the PokeBeach rumors, and added some more of my own. All I’m saying is, the person that “leaked” the rumors could’ve done all of the things I mentioned to get some attention. Anyways, PokeBeach even said that “…we’ve been shown evidence to back up some of the information…” So I still believe these rumors are real.
They said they were shown the box art, which had shown on the back a picture of the wailmer training. That doesn’t mean much though, because that could be the only true thing in the list…

Does anyone else wonder if Malamar and Inkay will be able to learn Surf? They’re not water types, but they are marine creatures. Stunfisk could learn it. I also find Malamar to be a lot more than 4’11” in game. I guess it’s the camera angles.
It still made no sense to me how they could be found in the grass. I hope they are found in the water. In which case, I do feel it will learn surf just like stunfisk.
Lol. Its a squid. That lives on land. Honestly,squids are the only things that scare me in the ocean, so thank God its not based on an actual location. But Inkay is cute otherwise and Malamar will be a great addition to my team.
