  2. Most of this year’s commercials for the Superbowl are really underwhelming to me

A few were good, some looked like I’d see them on a day to day basis, some are just down right bad (4 Tide commercials… Even the commercials admit there are too many)

  6. Can I just say that I can’t wait for Jurassic world fallen kingdom! I love how it appears they are going back to the horror vibe of the first movie! There’s already a few movies I want to see this year. Black panther, avengers, Jurassic world, fantastic beasts and incredibles 2(took you long enough Pixar) to name a few!

    Reply

      • There are so many good movies coming out this year. Now if only they would announce saban would announce production on power rangers 2 lol still holding out hope for it

        Reply

      • I don’t know? I personally just go into all movies with an open mind and in cases of movies like Jurassic world I leave my brain at the door lol it’s one of those popcorn flicks as people call them.

        Reply

        • I really don’t like it. Idk maybe I just find a lot of movies now very same-y and kinda boring? Idk. I liked Spiderman last year and Guardians of the Galaxy

          Idk…

Dunkirk and Baby Driver were really good

          Reply

          • I kind of get what you mean. A lot of movies are very similar now. Especially when it comes to horror movies. I have seen so many horror movies I can see the deaths coming a mile away in most cases lol

          • I will say in the case of Jurassic world I am probably main excited because of Nostalgia. I remember years ago seeing the first one. I also remember being scared because of it. Still loved dinosaurs but was afraid of them coming to eat me lol anyways the fact that this movie seems to be going back to the horror tone that the first had has me really excited!

          • La La Land
            I, Tonya
            The Big Sick
            Coco
            IT
            Thor Ragnarok

All good movies last year. Spider-man Homecoming was maybe my favorite though.

          • Saw all of those except coco, La la land and I tonya. That said power rangers was my favorite movie last year

          • La La Land is really good. I mean at the core the story is just good. But the music is pretty nice and the cinematography is just gorgeous..Beautiful shots and colors everywhere. Whoever made it clearly has a love for the camera and movie making

          • I may watch it later. Only reason I didn’t see it last year was because i thought it was a romance movie and since I was going through a break up I didn’t want to see anything invovling romance(as dumb as it sounds)

          • Yeah I mean that’s the core of the story, but as someone who hates romance movies I thought it was really well done

          • Well I may watch it later then! Really wasn’t in a good spot last year to watch stuff like that but so much better now!

          • It happens unfortunately. Happened to me at the start of the year. Really showed me that you just have to keep moving forward no matter what

    • I’m so excited for all these. I’m not expecting Jurassic World FK to be anything spectacular though, but the vfx and the animatronics look amazing. Nothing will top the first one though! Wish they would bring back Ellie…

      • I agree nothing compares to the original Jurassic Park. Movie scared the crap out of me as a kid 😂 and very unpopular opinion but I want to see the spino again 👀

        Reply

          • Yeah 3 isn’t the best. Still a fun movie though! My rankings for the movies
            1. Jurassic Park
            2. Jurassic world
            3. Jurassic Park 3
            4. Jurassic Park 2 lost world
I am not sure why 2 is my least favorite. Just didn’t like it as much for some reason.

          • Jeff goldblum is definitely the highlight of 2. Now that I think about it two probably ranks the lowest because I have seen it the least. I may try to get all the movies on blu Ray later this year and marathon them. That way I can rank them better lol

  8. It’s nice knowing y’all

I live outside Phillidelphia and Eagles WON their first Super Bowl and people here are known for being dumb

I will probably be killed by a fan

    Reply

    • Honestly looks kinda good. I’m cautiously optimistic because I was adamant that this movie didn’t need to be made. But I actually like all the side details in the star wars universe so I’m remaining open to it

      Reply

      • I think it has to do with Solo making the Kessel Run. So that might involve freeing the wookies there that were slaves in the spice mines. I’m guessing that’s where Chewie was.Or perhaps Chewie pays Han to help him smuggle wookies out, idk.

        Reply

          • It has potential to be quite emotional. I ultimately hope it’s a nice story for Chewie, he’s never been given enough material to chew on.

          • Idk, I kinda like it. It adds world building that the new canon hasn’t explored. Wookies were randomly featured in episode 3 by Lucas to sell toys and sh*t, but between then and A New Hope it doesn’t make sense that they weren’t a part of the rebellion. They’re an extremely intelligent species that’s highly gifted with engineering and they were allied with the Republic and the Jedi. So where did they go? In the old canon almost all of them were enslaved. I believe they were charged with physically building the death star among other things.

I mean if you’re gonna shove Wookies in there for toys at least make it important rather than having a random battle on Kashyyyk just to put Chewie in there and give him an unnecessary relationship with Yoda.

          • Idk dude I can’t imagine this movie being anything more than acceptable and forgettable.

I just feel like the main Rey storyline is way better than them trying to make spin offs.

          • Well that’s the thing. If you aren’t interested in the rest of the world and don’t like side stories then you’re by no means obligated to see them. The main things I’m interested in with the Sequel Trilogy is The Knights of Ren that they established and then dropped and Phasma, who they seemingly killed again. I’m looking forward to the Obi Wan movie though…hopefully it’s not something ridiculously out of canon.

    • First: Yeah, this movie will be out in February 2018
      Then: orrrrrrrr maybe desember 2018
Now: Yeah guys it’s totally coming out in may!

  14. Why did they screw up Marshadow’s role in I choose you so much… I know people that HATE marshadow because they didn’t explain anything about it in the movie. Marshadow just rubs off as a evil monster and that hurts me

    Reply

    • Also the fact that they hurt Marshadows reputation by including it might of been the reason why we never saw Ash vs Ho-Oh. They shoved marshadow in last minute and advertised him as “cool and strong” but ended up failing.

      Reply

    • I’m not really pissed, just extremely confused about what the hell Marshadow even was doing in the movie. I haven’t seen it yet, but after reading the plot online, he seemed like he was basically a Doomsday and was there for a “final fight”.

  16. Can we, like, talk about the Tide commercials? My god I never knew I wanted these commercials (Old Spice/Tide was just amazing).

  24. I actually think that gen 8 is coming this year. I don’t want it to but it probably will. Especially sense they are launching they’re online service at the same time as the average Pokémon release date. Probably trying to cash in on the big pokemon craze….
