Even more Pokémon native to the Hoenn region are coming to GO!
Starting tomorrow, several Dragon and Flying-Type Pokémon, including the Altaria, Salamence, Pelipper, Swellow and Metagross evolution lines will be catchable in the wild! The Flying/Dragon-type Legendary Rayquaza will also begun its stunt as a Legendary Raid Boss alongside Kyogre until March 16th.
In celebration of Rayquaza’s ascension, Generation III Pokémon will exclusively be taking over spawns worldwide until February 13th, Raid Bosses and Egg hatches will have some new additions, new special boxes – which include Raid Passes, Incubators, and Star Pieces – will be available in the in-game store until February 23rd, AND Lure Modules will run for six hours a pop in the same time frame.
Lots of exciting reasons to get out and GO this month – and this isn’t even counting the imminent Valentine’s Day event! I’m just excited that I’ll finally be able to catch one of my all time favorites, Altaria!

I have to say Altaria as my IRL transportation ‘mon. It’s been my all time favorite Flying-type since the early 2000’s, it’s GORGEOUS, would look killer juxtaposed against the usual greys of the Pacific Northwest sky, and it’s cloud like feather look SO comfortable to sit on!

It has to be Flying type? Well if that’s the case I choose Ho-oh. I know it’s a legendary Pokemon, but whatever. The reason for this is because I figure flying in the sky would be pretty cold (even in the summer). If I’m riding on a Ho-oh I’d imagine it’d be pretty warm on it since it’s a fire type. Plus Ho-oh is pretty big so it’d be comfortable on it. If I could choose another that’s not flying type I’d say Flygon. I love seeing people in the anime flying on it. It would be my fast flyer for quick trips meanwhile Ho-oh my long trip buddy.
Flying type… Noctowl because its my favorite Flying type and I think it would be helpful

The way Golurk flies I always think about how uncomfortable it would be to ride it, and how easy it would be to fall off lol

some kind of foot-pad and handlebars that you’d tighten around his skirt and chest (Just above the shoulder blades)

I freaking LOVE the new Pokemon anime intro. It’s so much fun while at the same time being intense with the UBs. So freaking cool. I definitely think Ash is gonna get a Passimian. It seems up his alley too. (Side note one day I’d like to use one) Anyway I’m interested to see where this new arc will go. I think given that the URS isn’t in it that they really did completely ignore them in this. That could change tho. Also I don’t think Ash will permanently catch Poipole if he even does catch it. I could see him getting it and then releasing it after it evolves into Naganadel. It’s for sure not going to Oaks lab. I think it’ll be interesting to see the intro update after Ash gets Torracat and other events happen. OH also a very cool thing to note is that Celesteela is shiny in the intro!! I hope it’s like that in the episode it appears in.
Oh and also the animation work in the intro is amazing. Love every pic of it. It’s fast paced and keeps your attention all the way through

I’m not one to talk about about my personal life, but I extremely despise some the kids in my English class.
Apparently, as the whole class found out this morning, there was a rumor/gossip around a kid in our class (who transferred to our grade this year and he’s a well polite and kind individual) who had a gun, and it was started by this group of kids in that class who are bullying him. Like is really disgusting what they do, as they made rumors around my old girlfriend back in freshman year, completely disrespectful to everyone else in the class and the teacher, and now to this guy who is such a nice dude. I think he stood up to them, and now they’re doing some pretty nasty stuff to him like this rumor. And the teacher, who’s trying to figure out her teaching style in the class because she’s taking criticism from last Tri, has no idea how to handle it, and it just sucks and ticks me off to see it like that.
Fortunately I approached the student counselor after when I found out, and he’s pretty great at solving problems students are facing or talking with jackass students. So I’ll see how it goes and I’ll check with the kid who’s getting bullied tomorrow.
…Sorry guys I just needed to vent because it just really sucks for this kid and the class.

Had a bad time in Persona 5. I got stuck on this one mini boss that has three tough enemies. I entered without thinking of the fact that I was in no way equipped to handle this fight so had to head back to the save room that’s like a 5 minute wall away.
I headed pack with the intention to just get a couple Personas before I left but fucked it up twice.
Then I played some Overwatch with Seraph and a bit of Stardew Valley to come back.
So I finally got the Personas I needed and even leveled up a bit. I bought some items and gear and headed back, beat the boss with little trouble and every single character leveled up and I was finally rewarded with another save room.
That was amazingly satisfying

I feel like the electric slow down spheres are attracted to me and I can barely hit the speed boosts and I keep being boosted into wormholes I don’t want.
Aim for as many speed boosts at the beginning, then start dodging the portals,once you reach 2,000 or so and start slowing down go for as many rings as you can and stop at the best wormhole you can find
That’s what I’ve been trying to do, I just end up finding nothing. It would help if there were meters telling you your energy level and distance on the vacant bottom screen.

Teachers have to give you productive feedback or else they get in trouble for not writing your reports correctly. It’s part of their job. What you got was a generic blanket statement that is true for any pupil in any subject.

Every other comment was “pleasure to have in class” or something like that. You NEED TO consciously think “oh the student needs to work more” to add that comment. I got pleasure to have in class from him first quarter so I know he does this himself

So the other day while playing Crystal I came to a realization that I’ve never had before in my 20 years of playing Pokemon. Anime may have initially been attributed to materials produced in Japan-but that was because those animated shows predominately used that style to the point that it has become an industry in Japan. With streaming services available now Anime has become more of an international industry. There is now anime that has originated from China, South Korea, and shows that haven’t exclusively originated from one country. For instance, Devilman Crybaby which is available on Netflix right now.

So what is the state of the anime right now? Are they on track to wrap up by the end of 2018 or will they go longer? I just found that Zygarde Complete was first revealed in the July/August issue of Corocoro in 2015 as a teaser for the next movie. Assuming they don’t have a Gen 8 Pokemon in this movie, history could repeat itself.
The UBs and Necrozma are the current arc and Nanu/Acerola are coming soon so it’s pretty on track for wrapping up 2018 if they want it to.
Also, I believe Perfgarde was either a movie reveal or it was movie and then teased in CoroCoro – either way it wasn’t fully revealed either iiirc

Congrats I’m planning on going after this one after Celebi. I was wondering if mind blown is a move I should be cautious of? For instance will Blacephalon use it to the point of fainting?
I played off of it, I let it use it once then Spored it with Smeargle. You do need to be careful of it though it didn’t use it again I’m not sure if it could. I used a catch power so as to lower the risk. Also Beast Ball helped, luckily I think it suits it best anyway.

Having battled many more it seems to only use Mind Blown once. It still has a strong Fire Blast and the Special Attack Aura + Special Attack Beast Boosts help it alot. Well I came to a tough decision. Discussed it with my dad who is my boss at work and have decided it’s best for me to leave. My health has gotten bad since I started working there. Have asthma really bad and the coal mines have had a negative effect on me. Have had so many bad coughing spells the past few months to the point I was short of breath and it messed with my immune system as well. My health comes first and hopefully in doing this I can get tons of practice driving in and hopefully in next month or so finally get my license and hopefully another job. And thanks to everyone earlier for the support I really do appreciate it

Back in Red and Green (Blue overseas), we created the so called ”Hidden Machines”. It was a way to progress through the game when you obtained a badge and you can cut down a tree or light up a cave. We made it unforgettable on purpose because once you’re on an island and you were to forget Surf or Fly, there was no way you could escape. Starting in Diamond and Pearl, we noticed that a lot of players used Bidoof and Bibarel as an Hidden Machine user. This saddened us, as it meant that players didn’t fully see the true potential of a certain Pokémon. In Black and White, we made the amounts of HMs smaller so players were obligated to teach their Pokémon that they had on their party Surf or Strength. We thought this was a good way to strenghten your bond with your Pokémon. In X and Y, we put Bidoof into the game to make players see what a cool Pokémon it can be, but players still used it as a means to use Hidden Machines on it. We started to brainstorm some ideas on what we can do in Sun and Moon and we got the idea for Poke Ride. This meant that there was no requirement for Hidden Machines anymore. Poke Ride will be an exclusive feature to Sun and Moon only so in future instalments of the franchise, we have to think of other ways but we can assure you, Hidden Machines are gone for good.”

I have to say, I LOVE the Totem fights in USUM. Almost all of them (except the first one) are upgraded and they have really smart techniques in their fights (such as SR+Tailwind Skarmory with a Super Fang Dedenne with that annoying Totem Togedemaru set) that really make it challenging.

It’s different. Those aren’t detracting from other stats, they just need those filler stats because no Pokemon can have 0 attack and it’s used for misc calculations like Foul Play. Also, both can use Z-Moves which do use those stats.
Which reminds me. Why is Pyukumuku so slow? Like I understand it wouldn’t be fast, but really? it’s as fast as a Rock creature and furry fat baby?

Just watched the new KH3 trailers. I’M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! It looks amazing! The new theme is good, but I still like the songs from the first and second more. It’s kind of cool that this one seems to take all of the mechanics of the other games and uses them ins super fun ways. I plan on playing through the series again in the summer so it should be cool to get through them all and have the 3rd be a culmination of everything. I think this is likely the last game in the main part of the series. It kind of seems like everything is coming to a head. Should be really fun!! Can’t wait!!

They actually downgraded from the models they used in show to the ones in the game because they couldn’t get it to run well for most people on PC. And the new models just suck at portraying emotion, not even any animated talking heads during dialogue to emote.

Might give up on my second Blacepholon for now, I don’t like how I can’t check its’ Hidden Power immediately because of the forced Rainbow Rocket thing starting and having to do a Battle Agency Battle for stupid Sophocles.

well…their dex entries state they can fly despite having no visible wings and i guess they just added a little…dragonair flair…..i mean in the anime Electivire can extend their tails at greater lengths
That’s actually nothing new. In one of the first Pikachu shorts before the first or second movie they showed a Dragonair that did that too.

Yeah there it is. Must have been the second short then. Still an interesting thing they never used. They prolly could have given it Flying type too if they wanted .
I love watching the anime for this very reason! They show a pokemons innate abilities that the games sometimes don’t show.

Maybe we’ll get more options for Charizard glide in future game? Like if the Pokemon is large enough and can fly you can use it as such. Togekiss would make an awesome ride pokemon in that aspect.

The artwork is much too “Gen 2” artstyle to be considered legit. The coloring is off as well. Not a bad design though.

So I just found out hooters gives out free wings to singles on Valentine’s Day is you bring a picture of your ex. They shred the picture and give you 10 free wings……..I now wish I had at least one picture of my ex lol would be oddly satisfying seeing her picture get shredded and getting free wings for it 🤣
