Event Reminder
- The Year of Legendary Pokémon has begun! From now until February 28th you can head to local stores to pick up a serial code and download Dialga and Palkia to your Pokémon Sun & Moon, and Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon games! These event ‘mon come at Level 60 in SM, and Level 100 in USUM while holding a Bottle Cap. Check out the full list of distribution locations:
- US & Ireland – Gamestop until February 28th
- Australia & Canada – EBGames until February 28th
- UK – GAME until February 28th
- Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden – Gamestop until February 23rd
- France – Micromania until February 23rd

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- The Ultra Sinnoh Classic competition has been officially announced! This Single Battle competition raises competing Pokémon levels to 50, and allows you to only use Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex. Alola Forms, Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are all banned. Registration runs from February 15th to February 22nd while the battles take place from February 23rd through the 25th. All participants will receive 50 Battle Points as a gift
Pokkén Tournament DX
- The latest update for Pokkén Tournament DX is now live! This patch adds the first wave of Downloadable Content Including the playable fighter Aegislash, Support Pokémon Mimikyu & Mega Rayquaza, new clothing items for your Avatar, and a new outfit for Nia. The patch also includes several fixes and additions to the game including Video Capture. have come to the game including Video Capture
3DS Themes
- Following their release in Japan last week, the two Team Plasma 3DS themes featuring important characters from Black & White, and Black 2 & White 2 are now available for purchase in the US
Trading Card Game
- This week marked the release of the latest Pokémon Sun & Moon TCG set! Made up of the GX Battle Boost and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon sets from Japan, this release contains 173 cards of various Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region, as well as Necrozma.
Pokémon Duel
- Pokémon Duel version 5.0.8 is now available for download! Requiring 247MB of space contains several balance updates, new figures and Plates to the game:
- Keldeo – Removed Dodge and added new attack, Water Jump, which moves the Pokémon two steps away and gains Wait
- Hariyama – Changed Slap Push to Heavy Slam, increased wheel size of Push Away, decreased wheel size of Miss
- Drowzee – Increased wheel size of Hypnosis and Confusion, decreased wheel size of Miss
- New UX Figures – Buzzole, Pheromosa, & Mega Gallade
- New EX Figures – Gallade & Bewear
- New R Figures – Poliwrath & Hypno
- New UC Figures – Makuhita, & Stufful
Pokémon Shuffle
- All players will receive the following Pokémon upon log in: Mewtwo, Suicune and Pikachu (Fired Up)
- The Mega Lucario competitive stage runs until February 6th 2018
- The brand new Mewtwo Escalation Battle stage will be available until February 23rd
The following stages have begun repeat runs until February 13th: Tapu Bulu, Tapu Fini

Oh I tried at level 42.
Well I’m doing a wonderlocke so maybe I’m paranoid.
I’ll get Mimikyu to 46 to get Play Rough and try again. The only issue really is it’s so fast and I can’t rely on Disguise so it one-shots everything. Might try sashing it and Destiny Bond, we get no experience and the battle is boring but I am not sure I want to grind levels for ages either.
Praying Metagross can take it down, but also don’t want to lose it…
Ugh, I saved before fighting it so I can’t use the wormhole anymore to train.

I get that a lot of y’all hate X and Y, but like can we appreciate the fact that they introduced a Tyrannosaurus Rex as a Fossil finally (and that it’s a Dragon type)?
Further blurring the lines for what defines a Dragon type (which doesn’t bother me)
Well it’s reptilian which is pretty much a standard
The only non reptilian dragons are….
Kingdra and Dragalge (but weedy dragons explains it)
Altaria
Alolan Exeggutor (but the Dragon Palm gives insight)
Technically Goomy and Vibrava but gain draconic qualities through evolution
Oh and Noibat and I guess Guzzlord but it has dragony bits
Yeah you could just apply dragon type to other lizards then through association (and they already did with mega sceptile) But I like when they broaden types. I think it makes for more diversity and better designs. As long as they don’t get too crazy.
Then again plenty want Serperior and Heliolisk dragons but whatever Tyrantrum being a dragon is cool
I think those two deserve dragon megas, but that’s just wishful thinking. Though it wouldn’t necessarily make serperior any better defensively. Heliolisk I just want a better design, dragon type or not (though I do think it was robbed of a cool dragon evolution)

I hate when pokemon battles are used as a time waster. Fighting the team skull grunts at Poni island with level 45 ekans is just ridiculous. They’re there to ask for you to help Guzma, but hinder your progress? Why? It’s not even like they’re giving good exp. from these battles either.
Gamefreak needs to learn how to make use of every second that they want to stop the trainer. Make it worthwhile everytime.

Best Victory Road? I’d probably go with B2W2. It’s like a cool backwoods route for the most part with minimal cave excursions. Poni Canyon ain’t a bad substitute though. And I do like B/W’s design of it. It was very different from the others before it.

I agree with BW2. Love the diversity it has in its design (lower cave, cave inside a mountain, a forest, rivers) that makes it feel like a massive challenge for you to reach the top.

Story: ehh it’s pokemon. At least the floette seen was good

I will say the one thing that really bothered me in XY was Calem/Serena in the game. They were snobby, boring, and dull characters who their “professional Pokemon trainer parents” I could give no shets about. Just because your parents are good trainers doesn’t mean for squat you’re a Pokémon master.
Honestly I think if they had a dub voice in a XY game anime, Siri would be perfect voice for how hollow they are.
If it was just them and not the other 3 they might have had more time to build the character.
Whelp the odd egg cloning train has made it’s last stop…..Got to 9 eggs and then must have reset just a hair too late so now I’m saved over. Oh well now I got at least 9 chances to get a shiny. Hopefully I’ll get something I don’t have already yet. Fingers crossed lol

I kept on looking at the dialogue and all the UBs to see if it could give me any clues about what UB he’s talking about, but there isn’t a single one that really matches the one.
