Another Legendary Pokémon is making its way to Pokémon GO!

Because of the hard work of all Pokémon GO players during the Pokémon GO Global Catch Challenge last week, Niantic is making Ho-Oh available in game! From now until December 12th you’ll be able to encounter and catch the Fire-type Legendary via Legendary Raid Battles!

  1. So for My Hypothetical Greece Region(early map posted here months ago) I have an Evil Team Seeking to Unleash the Destructive power of either the Sky Pokemon(Ouranos/Uranus) or the Earth Pokemon(Gaea/Gaia)

    • I feel this kinda power would better plotted as a terrorist act

      If they have the legends under their control and can and will abuse their power to harm others if demands aren’t met could be a option

      I mean when you look at it
      Team Rocket: Steal and Sell, Force Evolution
      Magma/Aqua: Expand land or sea
      Galactic: Recreate the universe
      Plasma: “Liberate” Pokemon from trainers/Freeze Unova
      Flare: Unleash a weapon to destroy the world
      Skull: poser thugs
      Aether: Flood the world with ultra beasts

      None of them directly sought legendary power as a leverage against the public more just they would be harmed in the process

      My evil team, Team Quake are committing heinous acts to resurrect an ancient and destructive Pokemon that will cause widespread pollution and corruption

      • Were they Destroying the World/Could they? I thought they were Just Nuking France. I also have the Idea that maybe awakening the two pokemon causes New pokemon to spawn(a la how Atlas has to Keep Ouranos and Gaea Apart or they Bang and More Titans Happen)

  6. It’s weird how you can obtain some Pokemon when you really should never be able to.
    For example, I just caught a level 10 Gyarados when Magikarp evolves at level 20

  10. I feel like they totally neutered Lillie’s character growth with the player on Exeggutor island for no reason. I just got here so idk if anything happens, but it seems useless for things to go the way they did.

      • I think they really could have made Lusamine more interesting, but they just needed to give a a reason to do what she did. In SM it was clear she was under the control of Nihilego, but in this I’m not sure what exactly drives her. I’m not done yet with the story as I’m on Exeggutor island, but it feels like there’s not much motivation for either Lusamine nor Lillie to do what they’re doing. I’d much rather have them flesh out the URS as characters and their backstory than see Lusamine doing something for ultimately no reason.

          • It made way more sense when they fleshed out how she was being brainwashed by the UBs in SM. This time it’s just weird. Like they almost should have taken out the crazy tendencies from SM and just made her a normal mother. Giving Lillie and Gladion slightly different reasons to have ran away from Aether Paradise. Then once you reach the storming of AP make her do what she did for her kids sake or something. Rather than some weird obligation to save the world that was never really set up earlier and makes no sense. Her craziness was way more explainable in SM…….

  14. Every interaction we have with Team Skull that doesn’t include Guzma is SO boring. Like they have this goal of messing up the trial system, but then they just do a bunch of other random crap to add battle into the story. Their potential to be a good villain team is so wasted.

  18. I have been feeling physically unwell since my flight back to school-being in an enclosed space for three hours is a very easy way to get sick if there is someone who already is sick on the plane-but I feel a little better after stumbling on this while looking for medicine and groceries.

  22. I have some ideas for new pokemon pre-evos/evos for current ones:

    Copichu – Pre-Evo form of Mimikyu.
    Type; Normal-Ghost
    This Pokemon has been rarely seen around, however many have claimed to see oddly beige Pichus around.

    Licky – Pre-evolutionary form of Lickitung
    Type: Normal
    Its tongue is twice the size of it, and is constantly hidden beneath it, only showing itself whenever it’s rewarded with a sweet treat.

    Phanteon – Ghost evolutionary form of Eevee
    Type: Ghost
    Its suspicious resemblance of Espeon’s eyes have made many wonder if it’s just a dead version of Espeon.

    Stinfusk – Evolutionary form of Stunfisk
    Ground-Electric
    Its paper-thin flatness allows it to enter through tiny cracks. This allows it to break into buildings.
