Niantic has officially announced the Pokémon GO Travel event!
From now until to November 26th, trainers across the globe must work toward the goal of collectively catching 3 billion Pokémon in Pokémon GO! As the week progresses, and more ‘mons are caught, rewards will start to roll out: At 500 million Pokémon caught we’ll get 2x Experience, 6 hour Lure Modules and an increase of worldwide spawns. At 1.5 billion, we’ll get the previosuly mentioned bonuses plus 2x Stardust and even more increased spawns. And if we reach our goal of 3 billion we’ll get all the aforementioned rewards plus Farfetch’d will spawn worldwide for 48 hours (Kangaskhan will spawn in East Asia as compensation)!

In main game news, (much to our surprise) Pokémon Bank is already compatible with Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon! Requiring 516 block, version 1.4 of the application is now available for download via the eShop. Along this, compatibility for transfers from Pokémon Gold & Silver can now be made in Poké Transporter.

If I may open this thought to discussion, A lot of the Pokémon in this generation are very humanoid in shape. Do you think his has anything to do with a newer team of people working on Gen 7? Also do you think there will be less of Pokémon like these in the next generation since it has been reported that the veterans are working on them? Finally, what region do you want to see the next games to be based on?

I would say yes to my first two thoughts and I would prefer to go to a colder region. Especially since we are going to end up having 4 years in regions that are hot-ORAS and SM/USUM-if we end up getting Gen 8 during Holdiay season next year.

My hope/idea is a Big UK region divided into 4 parts (like Alola) with a small Ireland Region next to it. You can visit Kalos Post game.
I liked this concept initially with SM, especially with how they divided up the Pokédex. However, regions like these may have contributed to the lack of new areas to be added if a 3rd version or sequels to be made. USUM is the example. Of course they can just do away with 3rd versions and sequels in future generations. I mainly want a colder region so there will be more ice-types introduced in the generation. I think Sinnoh is generally treated as the coldest region and they added 7 new Ice types. That and I want a couple of cold years. Gen 8 followed by DP remakes or Platinum remake (depends on whether they decide to do away with the two versions model or not).
The UK is four different countries. I’d be disappointed if my country was crammed into the game as 1/4th of a game :>
There’s no chance they’d make a region based on one of the Four UK countries, so the only representation you could get would be as a part of the UK region.
If by humanoid you’re referring to the Ultra Beasts, then I doubt we’ll be getting similar designs unless there will be another story arc involving them. I would love to see a region based on Greece, and maybe changing up the Gym formula again to involve the mythological gods/goddesses or relics of some sort.
No I am referring to Salazzle, Lurantis, Tsareena and the final evolutions of the Starters. I would also like to see a return to the Gyms next generation and a change to the formula to incorporate the local myths would be really cool. They did that with the trials to convey how secluded the region is. However, it may be unlikely considering how they really shoved down the sci-fi elements with the Ultra Beasts on a region based on Hawaii. I guess it depends on how willing Gamefreak is to take a risk.
I really hope Ultra Beasts reappear, or like the 3rd legendary is an UB, just so we can have totems. Or Maybe something simmilar to Totems but more just spawning im the wild, Maybe with a diffrent name… Raid Pokemon, maybe?
I am not sure what to hope for. They have been changing up how many legendaries are introduced each generation-especially in gen 7. I honestly wonder how they are going to handle legendaries If they abandon the double version model. The strong legendary trio was introduced in Gen 3 since it best capitalized on the release model they did. Dual versions followed by a 3rd version. If they went the single version route, I was thinking they might just do one Cover Legend, a minor trio or quartet, and miscellaneous legendaries. (Could be UB, something specific to the region’s mythos, or something else).
The humanoid ones would also include ultra beasts like Pheromosa and Buzzwole.
I’d say that I want Gyms back and trial like things for post or side quests (Still am trying to build my own idea for this), UB’s can come back idc either way they are all Pokémon, I want to see one of the following be done for Gen.8: Australia, Canada, Italy, Germany, or India (if Yungoos exists in the Indian region of course)

Mantine surf. What a great feature, graphically amazing and the overworld water mons adds to the realism. And its addicting.
But what’s even better you get early and easy access to move tutors, vitamins etc
This alone makes USUM an amazing game for me.

My only problem with Mantine surf is I feel like sometimes the block Pokemon spawn too close to each other. I’ve had times where there are just lcusters of them and I can’t possibly pick up steam

The only thing I dont like about it is that it’s just kind weird, though fun. It’s just one giant wave that spans the entire distance between islands? I feel like it’d be better if there were just a bunch of different waves rather than just one giant one.

This is so important. I hate that this is even a thing to question. Internet freedom has become a right, not a privilege, in this age. Doing this is like a dictatorship.
It’s unbelievable. Everyone needs to understand what this means and what they can do. I encourage you to tell IRL friends and family members because a lot of mainstream media outlets aren’t putting much out about this.
I would but no-one I know IRL lives over there. It is good general advice though. The thing that worries me is if America does it, how many others will follow? So I had initially planned to use Bewear on my team, but I’m not sure if it’s as useful as Togedemaru. In addition I will have Incineroar, Lycanroc, Mimikyu, Lurantis, and Araquanid.

I think it’s OK. Depends if you really want to use it above others. If you remove anything for it it’ll likely be Lycanroc or Lurantis.
