Niantic has officially announced the Pokémon GO Travel event!
From now until to November 26th, trainers across the globe must work toward the goal of collectively catching 3 billion Pokémon in Pokémon GO! As the week progresses, and more ‘mons are caught, rewards will start to roll out: At 500 million Pokémon caught we’ll get 2x Experience, 6 hour Lure Modules and an increase of worldwide spawns. At 1.5 billion, we’ll get the previosuly mentioned bonuses plus 2x Stardust and even more increased spawns. And if we reach our goal of 3 billion we’ll get all the aforementioned rewards plus Farfetch’d will spawn worldwide for 48 hours (Kangaskhan will spawn in East Asia as compensation)!

In main game news, (much to our surprise) Pokémon Bank is already compatible with Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon! Requiring 516 block, version 1.4 of the application is now available for download via the eShop. Along this, compatibility for transfers from Pokémon Gold & Silver can now be made in Poké Transporter.
What will be the first Pokémon your transfer to your new Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon games? Excited to finally add Farfetch’d to your Pokédex in GO?
I’m now sitting at level 19 in Pocket Camp with a max level tent and new amenity on the way, and I’m still not bored. Honestly, you folks should give it a shot if you haven’t already. Tomorrow’s Thanksgiving so I’m sure there will be some kind of event! Also, the fact that this progress could be made during normal work and school hours just feels amazing, since it really does feel like a true game. Now USUM calls my name…along with Splatoon 2, after that update trailer.

Nowhere close to that point, but without spoilers is is obvious when you’re about to get Poipole? Like if I do end up going for a shiny one of it will I know that I’ll need to save before it or is it the kind of thing you need to know in advance otherwise you are just thrown it and it’s not obvious?
I did not anticipate it, but I believe it gave you the option to turn it down and come back for it later. My memory is horrible, so I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure I remember it happening that way. (Apologies if I am wrong!)

So from browsing PokeEarth on Serebii(because Bulbapedia is still updating) it seems there was a good Rat and Mongoose Culling, but I don’t think they fixed the problem of pokemon only available in one Location.

I like how Gamefreak literally did nothing to the Dream Park, making it one of the most useless locations in Alola. They could’ve put the fossil restoration man anywhere. Instead of making it a cool place, they chose to put time into making Pikachu Valley, an even more pointless locale with an even dumber trailer.

Exactly. And overworld sprites for them would’ve been nice. Maybe an Aeordactyl pokeride skin you can get in the post game? Or better yet, Aerodactyl soar pokeride?

I guess I’m a better shiny hunter than a legend hunter because I just found a shiny Stunfisk and still have not run into a legendary since Heatran (hours ago).
Shinies are so easy to find in this game I swear

So I just tried starting ultra sun. After soft resetting over an hour to get a good nature for litten I am so done right now. I think I will hold off playing until I give my nieces the games for Christmas so I can play along and help them when they need it. Will obviously pick litten in all likelihood. Idk may pick rowlet again since I know my oldest niece will pick litten and my youngest popplio. We shall see. Until then I think I will start Mario Odyssey! That said I seriously can’t wait for gen 8 on Switch lol hopefully we get skippable cutscenes in those games to make it more bearable for those of us who soft reset for our starter
