Well friends, the final chapter of our Alolan adventure is almost upon us and the final trailer before the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon has arrived.

The review embargo for the games has also been lifted, so here’s what official outlets are saying:

  • Nintendo Life 10/10 – “You’d be forgiven for not wanting to jump back into the same world again so soon but, in their own right, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are truly incredible entries to the series that deserve to be sitting amongst the elite Pokémon titles.”

  2. So after watching the oranguru dub it got me a’thinkin

    Do you think they’ll ever expand on Bewear’s relationship with Team Rocket? She’s good as a running gag but I wish they did a bit more on her character, like why she bails them out every time and maybe a little backstory or even a confirmed gender and even using an actual move (Unless you count its death hug as Bind)

    I wonder if Team Rocket ever does steal a Z-Ring WHAT IF BEWEAR IS THE ONE THEY USE FOR BLACK HOLE ECLIPSE via Brutal Swing

            Nvm the movie was what I came for and I enjoyed it :]

          • Yeah see I made sure to ask before the movie to make complete certain I got it (which was very difficult for me to do because no confidence). Did you see anyone else there with them? It could be due to where you saw it, but I can’t be sure on that. At least you enjoyed the movie. I have seen the card on ebay if you really want it, but I think people are charging extortionately for it.

        • They changed it? I haven’t watched Super yet, last I saw in DBZ it was meant to be permanent but Buus’ insides made them separate.

          • So I guess it they changed it and explained it as the Kais didn’t know? Also there goes my hope of SSGSS Gogeta.

          • Gogeta still might be possible the the kais in the tournament of power were throwing their portara’s into the ring or contemplating doing so. It might happen as a last ditch effort to win

  9. Why does the week of USUM have to suck and stress me out?

    I have an essay that’s half done due tomorrow morning and no clue where I’m supposed to turn it in (and teacher says because she is on vacation rn she won’t answer e-mails), Vocab work due tomorrow as well, Poster project alsi for English due Monday (there goes my weekend for USUM), Chem. Vocab due tomorrow, Chem.worksheet due tomorrow, 2 math pages due tomorrow, Walking cycle animation due 12/1 that I’m not at all even close to done and Design Project due by at Monday at the latest or I lose credit

    I feel like school needs to lay off the pressure instead of trying to take me and push me to my limits of stress (Just thinking about it has given me a splitting headache), I guess it’s all in the sake of getting the game, push through the abrasive pain of school for the reward of a game (that will drain alot of my funds and leave me with little money for the holidays)

    • Relax. Take a deep breath. Life isn’t meant to be easy all the time. Sometimes you have to battle through the storm!
      School is your priority. Make a plan and get it all done and then you can enjoy USUM!! :]

    • Sorry to hear that. I hope things improve. Just remember there is no rush to play the new game, it will still be there when you do have free time. Try to keep a level head, working yourself up over it will make things worse. Maybe you can ask for work extensions if it is all getting on top of you? If it ends up burning you out then it’s no good either really.

    • Homework is honestly pointless in my eyes. It just eats away at your time (Granted, I don’t really have a right to complain since I’m a huge procrastinator).

  13. Sometimes I forget that Mudsdale can have Own Tempo as an ability……why you’d want that I have no idea, but oh well. Own Tempo isn’t bad, but Stamina is Mudbray/Mudsdale’s bread and butter.

  15. Deers, a little oricoria told me shinies are easier to find in ultra space, can you be deers and expalin the deers and doe’s? Or… Dos and don’ts?

    • If an ultra wormhole has a certain appearance it will definitely be shiny, if it lacks that appearance it definitely won’t. The further you go into the wormhole the higher chance a shiny one will appear. I’m not entirely sure what the appearance is doe. This only applies to non-legendaries/UBs. Legendaries have the usual 1/4096 or 3/4096 with the shiny charm. At least this is as far as I understand it so far.

  18. Started Boku no Hero Academia, 5 episodes in and enjoying it so far. It’s the first anime I’ve watched in a really long time and I’m glad it’s a good one.

    • Nice. I love My Hero Academia, it’s a great show. I actually own the first volume of the manga. I’m glad you’re starting to pick up anime again after awhile, since there are some really good ones out there

      • I really need to get back into shows. I haven’t watched One Piece in so long for personal reasons and I just need to start catching up. I think Tokyo Ghoul might be on my list too along with Attack On Titan.

    • You watching dub or sub? I assume sub seeing as you called it “Boku no Hero” rather than “My Hero”. Either way it’s a great series and you’ll be glad you’ve started it.

        • Some subs can be fine, but dubs can be really REALLY good sometimes. Like you said DBZ is one of the better ones. Funimation and Viz Media do a real bang up job of dubbing. They’re not the top companies in the industry for nothing after all.

          • Yeah I am not against dubs as long as they are good. I think 4kids damaged alot of peoples’ perceptions of dubbed anime, not that they were all bad (some of the voice acting is still really good). I think sometimes dubs change names or pronunciations sound wrong and that I dislike.

  21. So I updated my phone 7 hours ago and right after I did that I could not access Pokejungle through my mobile anymore. Not sure if this is an issue for anyone else with the latest Iphone update. Please mention it if this is true for anyone else. Also @detoxic:disqus, because I could not access this site i could not express my interest in your tourney earlier. Due to time constraints I don’t think that I will be able to do the photo competition, but I would be more than glad to compete in the tourney if there is still space. Please let me know.

  23. I swear to god they better bring back regular fishing in gen 8. Restricting it the way they did this gen was dumb (encounter rates aside) The chaining feature wasn’t even a big feature to take out either! They could have easily left it in and it would have been no big deal on their end. It’s not like one of the bigger features they take out to cycle new ones in such as dexnav and walking Pokemon. It’s such a side mechanic it made no sense to take out.

  24. Thanks for the encouragement earlier and I have to say after that and going to robotics I feel a little bit better and got the Chem, Math and almost done my essay (It wasn’t easy after staring at a screen for an hour before getting a spark of inspiration)

    And side note, my crush was actually looking for people to chat with and asked for #’s So if she messages me I literally will lose all my stress and just go balistically happy
