Well friends, the final chapter of our Alolan adventure is almost upon us and the final trailer before the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon has arrived.

Ok based on the new moves given to Pokémon in USUM these are some I hate
-First off, who da F*ck thought that Ariados, Qwilfish, Corsola, Vibrava, Kricketune, Carnivine and GOLDEEN getting Throat Chop (minding Goldeen has no limbs strong enough to chop something), while Magmar Blaziken, and Electabuzz and others can’t use it at all!
-Farfetch’d got a move that could widely benefit it being First Impression as an egg move, only to find out Golisopod and it can’t breed meaning its impossible to obtain one!
-The fact just about anything with wings now learns Defog (least upset about this)
Farfetch’d can breed with Smeargle so you just Sketch First Impression and get it that way. Same for Leaf Balde iirc.

These reviews are pretty great. Also judging by other people’s review these are apparently the hardest 3ds games which is amazing! We finally get the difficulty we’ve always wanted. I’m ready for these games. Now I will say these will be awesome, but what isnt awesome are 3rd version reboots.
As much as I will probably love USUM, I am DONE with third version reboots, It’s such a horrible development mechanic. Why should I have to pay again for things that should have been included in the first game! This game also did the most basic for third version games. No good battle facility. Seriously?? I can still only test my pkemon in Battle Tower remake? I want some minigames I want to use my Pokemon in. I love Photo Club because I can have pictures with MY pokemon! Pokeathelon used MY Pokemon. Mantine surf isnt my MY Mantine. Battle Agency is fun because Battle Factory is fun, but I like some variety. I liked Battle Dome, or Battle Arena. I liked Battle Arcade or Battle Hall. But this is just Tower and Factory. Battle Tree doesnt even have new trainers (Recon team would have been an amazing addition). Yes these reviews are amazing for the story and such, but after that. What’s keeping me playing.

The level curve actually seems extremely good considering alolas was decent already! The only warning is near the climax a certain foe has a level that exceeds yours by a lot. Its meant to be like this. Keep the exp share on and you may be at or above the level requirements
Meh, i guess at that point, I will at least have a ton of items, useful TMs and I can always purchase a bunch of X-items. I hate the incredibly tedious early game when you at lack the items to even think up a good strategy…

But yeah I agree either a third version needs to be drastically different from the base games, or they need to do away with them.

I agree with that. Especially DLC, it’s paying $40 dollars for minor stuff. See if it was a sequel I would be ok with that because it’s different story, but it’s barely any changes, it’s just annoying, and especially that theyre making 3rd versions 2 games just comes off as money grabbing. I really hope they drop this. If not I might as well not buy the original games and just wait until 3rd versions come out and play those
Offtopic smash 4 had literally the worst DLC. $5 dollars for each character. $35 dollars (over half the game’s cost) just to have all the characters. That’s insane!
I think I’ll enjoy USUM quite a bit, but I gotta say I’m ready for this prerelease to be over with and not because I’m crazy excited to play either……Regardless of who’s right and who’s wrong in all this arguing and debating I’m just kind of tired. I know I’ve started up a few debates here and there, but I’m just ready for us all to get back on the same page in some way. I think a nice new gen or even a year off can give us a good reboot for our systems. USUM has been such a controversy since it was announced I can’t say I’m surprised that the last 5 months has been a mess. I love ya’ll and regardless of differing opinions I want us to all to continue to be good buddies!

As someone who loved Sun and Moon for what they already were, all of these changes are very good! I’m glad that I’ll finally have a “complete experience” for me to sink my teeth into, including shiny hunting (which I never took seriously in Sun like I said I would. Now’s the time!) I just wish we could have a Battle Frontier to right some of Game Freak’s wrongs…that ORAS incident is forever unforgivable. But my dual steelbook ships tomorrow and will complete my collection of Pokémon games from Gen 4 to Gen 7! It’s really just Gen 3 which eludes me, mainly because of laziness 😛

I have my FINAL Ultra Sun team devised. Here’s the team, and I’ll be explaining the reasoning between each Pokemon!

Ash-Greninja
Reason: I saw so many people using this Pokemon for Sun/Moon. I only really used it for the demo, and then it spent the rest of Sun sitting in my PC. I was trying to stick to New Pokemon introduced through Alola, and this from (technically) counts as it’s the first generation where it appears. Also, the typing is kind of how I was able to build the rest of my team!
Decidueye
Reason: Last game I chose Litten as my starter, but from the beginning, I was also able to get a Rowlet and a Popplio on my team. So, I used all 3 started last time. I was originally gonna use Litten this run, but he cause a lot of problems when it came to weaknesses. When I added Ash-Greninja, I kind of shifted a couple of Pokemon, and vola, I got Decidueye!
Oricorio (Melemele Version)
Reason: I wanted an Electric type on my team, and I always prefer to get a flying type. I’ve already used Toucannon and Vikavolt in the Sun, so Oricorio is my saving grace because it’s BOTH TYPES! Also, if I need to, I can just give it some nectar and BOOM! New type! This is a really cool Pokemon, because it’s so accessible and so versatile!
Lycanrock (Dusk Form)
Reason: I used to HATE Lycanrock, but then I saw my little sister using the Midday form of Lycanrock, and I realized how cool it was! However, I wasn’t really sure which from I wanted since the only difference is the look, but then Dusk Form was announced. I think that I might as well, and that it’s not something that I can ‘just get later’ like the other Lycanrock forms. Also it looks the coolest!
Salazzle
Reason: I believe that for a strong team in Pokemon has to have the main three types: Fire, Grass, & Water. I have Water and Grass, but here’s fire! Now, I’m still conflicted on whether I want to play through Ultra Moon also and trade over a Totem-Sized Salazzle, but I’ll probably just use a normal one. Also, I really like Salazzle, and I think that the typing can work really well!
Kommo-o
I never usually use Pseudo-Legendaries, but I think that Kommo-o looks like a fun challenge to raise! With it’s Dragon/Fighting typing, I think that it helps really bring the team together as the final member. It also has an exclusive Z-Move, which I think is also pretty good, you know?

I used Decidueye, Salazzle, Kommo-o and Midday Lycanroc in Sun and they were all great teammates. Oricorio Pom-pom is my least favourite Oricorio.

They have their own “types” each with a weakness and passive ability
Critter (can’t be stunned)
Beast (raises attack below 50%)
Flying (50% speed boost if at +50% Hp)
Aquatic (lessens DOT effects)
Mechanical (comes back to life after being killed with 25% hp)
Undead (comes back to life after killed and is immortal for one turn)
Magic (can’t be dealt more that 50% health from attacks)
Elemental (Ignores harmful weather effects)
Humanoid (recovers 10% if landed a blow)
Dragonkin (raises attack power after bringing a opponent to less than 50%)

Basically has a ice attack that causes chilled status and can you deep freeze that stuns chilled opponents and the Takedown that deals more damage to stunned opponents

Well like… it was extremely limited and required two systems to work and only one player was really doing much.
I think local multiplayer where you could get a team from the PC would be fun. Cutscenes would probably just ignore the second player
They should bring back the different angles shown when you heal your Pokemon in the center. ORAS was good with that

It really is cool! It also has an engraved Torchic on the front. Pokémon Center also made one for Rayquaza as well as Charizard and Venusaur for FRLG. I’d like to have a full boxed collection of these someday.

Does it use a microSD card? If so, there’s a way to transfer between normal SD cards and microSD cards using a PC and normal-to-micro adapter. I think I’m right about this.
yes the 2ds use micro i would just need a way to transfer the data off of the sdhc into the micro sd
