From today until November 13th you can head to your local GameStop (US) or EBGames (Australia, New Zealand, Canada) to pick up a serial code for a Shiny Silvally in your Pokémon Sun & Moon games! This event ‘mon comes at level 100, holds a Gold Bottle Cap, and knows the moves Multi-Attack, Parting Shot, Punishment and Scary Face. Our European readers can get their hands on the shiny Legendary at their local retailers starting November 3rd.

UPDATE: More locations!

  • France – Micromania

  1. I’m literally so pissed about the animal crossing direct. Where the F*CK is my AC for Switch. You couldn’t at least tease it?? Or say it’s coming?

Oh, and yay for Shiny Silvally…I guess..though I don’t understand why they would give it to us as a Silvally instead of Type:Null.

ALSO: While I love the little Rockruff reactions for the articles, there really needs to be a “meh” reaction because that’s like 1/2 of my emotional range.

  2. I’ll get this but only cause it’s a fun event. I got traded over the GTS one time a shiny Type Null and I have to do a bit research as I wasn’t sure if it was shiny locked gift Pokemon. Guess I’ll have both of em in my game – both shiny and normal (and I guess it makes it cooler that I have a living Alolan dex)

  3. Looking forward to getting shiny Silvally, but one again hate we have to the codes to do it rather than get it online or from a wifi event. I’d rather drive to GameStop and sit in their lot than go in and talk to them

    • I learned a few Weeks ago apparently there is a different track for every HOUR in Animal Crossing, one of the early AM ones was apparently weird.

  4. I really wish GameFreak would either stop making fire starters physical or actually start giving them good level up moves. Flare Blitz comes too late. And don’t get me started on how all of them are based on fighters yet only Blaziken gets Blaze Kick and Fire Punch by Level Up

Like honestly, give Inci Fire Lash or Punch via level up, give Infernape Blaze Kick as a reminder Move instead of a breed move, give Emboar Fire Punch because it’s way too obvious. It’s all so dumb

  5. Question about Disqus: have you guys been repeatedly having to sign in again and again after leaving this site or refreshing it? It’s been happening to me lately, and I don’t know if it’s a bug or something with Disqus.

    • We’ve still got just under a month, that’s long enough for a trailer or two revealing new content and then either a recap trailer or an animated trailer. We just got stuff like two weeks ago, so we’ll see something end of this week start of next week.

  6. Anyone else really divided in their USUM starter? I’m thinking my decision will depend on the random figure I get for preordering the game, the power of wheel decide, or asking you guys (except that’s definetly biased and I’ll be forced to cope with a faux phantom :p)

  7. ODYSSEY SPOILERS

To those who have also seen leaks, what’s your favorite kingdom and which has your favorite inhabitants? My favorite is Lake and it also has my favorite inhabitants!

  8. Yelp. Help.
Just spent hours on jumping into the competitive scene by hatching 20 eggs, winning 48 BP in the battle royal for destiny knot and chaining 2 5IV dittos… Only to realise I can’t pay for Pokemon Bank in India…
Hope someone here will help me trade over my bred mons to Ultra Sun… :/

        • Grass Knot doesn’t have a standard base power; rather, its damage is calculated based on the weight of the target. Grass Knot’s power is calculated as follows (note that the game uses weight in kilograms instead of pounds for all the cutoffs).
          Target’s weight Power

          0.1 – 9.9 kg 0.1 – 21.8 lbs.
          20
          10.0 – 24.9 kg 21.9 – 54.9 lbs.
          40
          25.0 – 49.9 kg 55.1 – 110.0 lbs.
          60
          50.0 – 99.9 kg 110.2 – 220.2 lbs.
          80
          100.0 – 199.9 kg 220.4 – 440.7 lbs.
          100
200.0 kg or more 440.9 lbs. or more
          120

        • Nope… It only takes into account the targets weight… Not in comparison to the user’s. It’s not like a reverse heavy slam buy more like a low kick

    • I mean it’s effective for things i like but why bother Haunter doesn’t have to worry about ground attacks you gotta worry about Knock off and any ghosts in general
