With less than four weeks until the official release of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the rumor mill has been cranking out some interesting information as of late. While I don’t normally cover rumors that appear on 4chan because of the inability to verify anything about them, today’s bit of hearsay is allegedly (that means NOT CONFIRMED, as with everything in a RUMOR post) from the Chinese Riddler who leaked quite a bit of accurate—if not obtuse—information about Pokémon Sun & Moon.
You may have noticed that the ‘Riddler’ has been mostly inactive, but they have apparently been warned by company officials not to disclose information and have only revealed things via personal accounts to close friends.
There’s no way to verify that these conclusively came from them because they were, apparently, quickly deleted, but Chinese social media has been buzzing about the English translation that was posted on 4chan.
- A “returning” Team will take over the Aether Paradise and steal Lillie’s Cosmog/Cosmoem
- In order to secure the building more executives and team members will be brought in (possibly from another dimension) as you progress
- Molayne, a former Trial Captain and engineer of Alola’s PC network, will join the Elite 4
- A new building similar to the past Battle Frontier will be available and will incorporate renting you friends’ teams, possibly similar to current QR system
- Generation I Grass/Poison-type Pokémon will get a new Alolan Form; this is suspected to be Oddish

I need opinions on this conundrum that I am faced with. I have been thinking, if they reveal new Alola forms I will probably want to use them. However I am set on using the starter that I haven’t used yet-Decidueye. I prefer not to have more than 2 Pokémon to share the same type weakness so I don’t want it to limit my choice of Pokémon on my teams. So I have done a standard run with Primarina and a Nuzlocke with Incineroar. I am thinking that maybe I should just restart my Sun nuzlocke and do a standard run with Decidueye before USUM comes out. That way I can choose whatever Starter best fits my team. What does everyone think?
No. Use decidueye and new alola forms. It won’t kill you using two of the same type. Just adds challenge honestly. Plus it may lose the grass typing. You’re thinking too hard into it

Yeah, but to be honest I can’t imagine then going to the release without showing Necrozma light form. He could mean that. That said I’m still sure we’re in for one more giant surprise

Well considering the Dratini line has always been more closely associated with water than anything, I was thinking the abundance of water around Alola makes them (Dratini and Dragonaire) Pure water type (as they spend more time in the sea), and Dragonite gains the Dragon Typing when it evolves.
But as i said it’s not happening anyway…
I mean, that makes sense too. I just think Dragon/Fairy would make a better mon/form.
I think the assumption that everything cute is supposed to be Fairy is where things go sideways and people start to argue

Well this matches three points from USUM whishlist, which is by far the most reliable leak among all (it was posted 3 months before USUM announcement with the code name USUM):
– New pokes, new alola forms, new UBs (last part confirmed)
– More baddies from old versions return, especially Giovanni
– Lusamine takes a chill pill (not confirmed but probable)
– A better battle facility like PWT or battle factory
– More Z-moves and new forms for Necrozma (confirmed and confirmed)
– Cut the camera feature (don’t really understand what he is referring at)
– To be released on 3DS (confirmed)
– Hau to have better clothing and pull a Blue
The “cut the camera feature” is kind of like saying to someone who is dancing a lot to “quit dancing”. The Wishlist is implying that the camera feature is more prominent in these games, which it is so that is also a confirmed item from the wishlist.
So many of these are obvious. Are people actually treating this like a leak??

– Lusamine is looking to be the same judging by the fact that the Nihiligo cutscene happens and that one part in the trailer.

We should get rematches for all the notable characters, especially in a HGSS fashion. The title defense was cool, but sometimes I just wanna re-fight a grass specialist, for example. Better yet, have a post game totem dungeon, where there are totem superbosses. Not related, just an extra cool thing I thought of.
