As was translated from a leaked Famitsu article (which we covered on our Twitter), Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will feature the ability to capture multiple past Legendaries within the games. Mewtwo has been confirmed to be just such a catchable legend which will apparently involve traveling through Ultra Space.
After just having Mirage Spots in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire I don’t see too much originality, but for new players joining this generation it could be quite a boon!

Nah they wont do that. If they gonna tease gen 8 it’ll be via the anime, whether thats in a regular episode or an upcoming movie.

It depends on how these legends will be catchable. If it’s something like Oras (click A on a space ring and a wild legend appears) they could have saved space for others features. If it’s an actual portal to a dimension where we have to catch legends like we do for UBs it could be interesting…let’s wait and see, a trailer is probably coming soon…
I mean tbf… There’s plenty of fans where Gen 7 is their first Gen. Including old Pokémon is never a waste because it means new fans don’t have to fork out money to buy an even older game just for a Pokémon
In a era with Wifi trading, gts, I am not sure that is even an excuse anymore
If we don’t actually get to see part of their native regions from the wormhole this will be disappointing. I’d like for the legendary beasts to return but that’s it. I guess this means you can catch them in apricorn balls, which is nice as long as gamefreak provides us with some.

Keep all of your Pokémon and items from when you beat the E4
Pokémon start at level 40-50 in the early game
Champion uses level 100
Many Pokémon are ev trained with competitive sets
Also the badges limit the level so you can’t just use a level 100 from the beginning

Makes sense. They gotta get them out this gen some how. I don’t see a trailer for just this tho. We’ve already been introduced to the means by which we get these legends so there isn’t much for them to reveal other than the legends themselves. I suspect they hold onto this for another week or so and then we get another trailer featuring it, but it won’t be the biggest thing in the trailer that much I’m sure about.
Man I feel like we just had ORAS but whatever I’m OK with this though just as long as it has: Mewtwo, Legendary birds, Weather Trio, Lati@s. And they are NOT shiny locked!

Yup
Maybe this could be a way to finally introduce some mythical pokemon into the games? Maybe the reason for them being so rare is because they’re hidden away in different pockets of the universe that you can reach through these ultra wormholes? I wouldn’t mind finally encountering a Mew in one of these newer games.
